If you're someone that just wants the tldr; 10/10 recommend Enso Creative. Shawna is a VISIONARY, a true creative GENIUS, and working with her was one of the best parts of my wedding. She really brought my vision to life. Long story long: I got married in April 2023 (so this review is way overdue) on Coronado Island (San Diego). It was a 2 day, 3 event Indian wedding, with 300 guests. We had tasked Enso Creative with decor for our Sangeet, Wedding ceremony, and cocktail hour/reception. I feel like I'm one of those brides who always had a general sense of what she wanted, but couldn't find someone who could take my ideas and execute them how I wanted. That was until I found Shawna. Every idea I had, she took and made better. She was super collaborative which I appreciated - she gave amazing insights and ideas, took our feedback that we'd give, and always came to each call with new thoughts. The calls were essentially massive brainstorming sessions, and I had so much FUN working with her. I didn't feel stressed at all. Also, she isn't cookie cutter which I liked - I wasn't (and am still not) worried that I'd see someone else with the exact same designs as me in the future. For my Sangeet, I knew I wanted peacocks, and that I was wearing a pink outfit. Some highlights for me were when Shawna created a giant pink floral peacock, a massive pink peacock decal, on top of the most amazing florals, ceiling draping, bright table cloths, etc. She was the one who came up with many of the ideas (including the decal and giant floral peacock). For the wedding day, I trusted Shawna more and essentially told her color schemes I wanted, and the vibe. She recommended a circular mandap versus a more common square/rectangle, and I LOVED it. All the little details throughout the day were stunning, and it felt so fresh, clean and beautiful against the backdrop of the skyline and water. We had a bit of a crazy request for Shawna when it came to our "seating chart". My husband and I had created handmade glass coasters for each guest with their names on it, and wanted to use those as the "seating chart". Shawna worked with us so hard to come up with ideas for this (this was the one thing my husband realllly cared about..). This took so much brainstorming, but Shawna was up to the task and created something more beautiful than I could ever imagine. We were worried about light not shining through the glass, and the glass laying flat, but she custom made something to where everything was visible, and hit all of his requirements. Shawna created the reception of my dreams. I wanted something a bit "moodier" and darker, and Shawna was amazing with the brainstorming. I wanted a "night under the stars" essentially with purples and blues, and she recommended star draping, came up with the idea of an "entrance" that was like walking under the stars, and used the most stunning florals. I told Shawna that my dress was essentially a giant sparkly disco ball, and so for fun, she added disco balls in the reception for extra shine which I was obsessed with (it's those little Shawna touches that really make things go above and beyond). Our ceilings were lower and that made me so nervous that my reception wouldn't look "grand" or beautiful, but she made the stage work with the space, and had a "stage to ceiling" floral arch. She made the room looked grand and beautiful. A few of our tables also had massive center pieces (which I really wanted), and our head tables had floating florals all across. Each of my events, I wanted a different "vibe" / feel, and Shawna made that all happen. My guests were raving about the decor the entire time, and the attention to details. I am so glad I trusted Shawna and Enso Creative with the most important day of my life. There's no one else like her, she's a true master of her craft, and I can't recommend her enough! read more

Shawna is a freaking GENIUS! While I was initially uncertain about whether we could afford her work, she assured me that they try to work with most budgets. After I sent her a handful of my wedding decor inspiration pictures, what she delivered was NEXT LEVEL!!! Everything was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! The ceremony and reception rooms were transformed into a "Hollywood style wonderland" (quoting guests here!). The most beautiful setting I could ever dream of having for my wedding. Shawna's team nailed our vision and let me tell you, it was no easy feat because we were very out of the box for our wedding! I'm a very particular person and Shawna was kind enough to not take offense when we wanted to alter her first design and continue to work with our wedding planner to tweak everything to make sure we got exactly what we were hoping for and we did! Everyone at our wedding came up to tell us they've never seen anything like it and it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Be patient with Shawna's renderings. She gives a very rough sketch but on the day of, delivers above and beyond what you could even dream of! read more

Shawna is a creative genius! I wanted a very non traditional wedding with NO FLOWERS... most people I spoke to before her told me it was not possible. Shawna brought my vision to life with amazing glass, candle, mirror, metal and marble decor that blew my mind. My wife hired Shawna for her birthday party last year at the Monarch Beach Hotel. No one ever showed up and Shawna refused to refund her deposit. Really can't communicate the embarrassment of having no decorations of ANY kind at your birthday party. Despite having the correct date on the contract, she still refused a refund because she had paid her vendors for the wrong day? Really shocking because Shawna also did our wedding (at the same venue). She's clearly only interested with working with certain individuals, with certain budgets, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just communicate that next time before ripping off your repeat customers. read more

Sigh. I would've really loved so work with Shawna Yamamoto's group. Their designs are the stuff of dreams! But unfortunately, I never had the chance to. I reached out to them to help produce my baby's first birthday. I had reached out to them in February for the event in July. They mentioned that the event was smaller than their usual and i would have to meet their minimum. Fine. I was willing to go above and beyond budget for the opportunity to have them design the event. They also mentioned that they have done plenty of first birthdays so they were familiar. Their staff was very nice. But after a few follow up calls made by me and being told that I would receive a final proposal, I didn't hear from them again. After being the one to make the phone calls to follow up, I gave up on my dream of working with them and no longer wanted to feel like I was pulling teeth to get them to design this event.
