I came here to get follow up treatment for an ear infection that was diagnosed by an urgent care physician. The medication that the physician had prescribed aggravated my symptoms. Dr. Meslemani (Dr. M) of ENT and Allergy Associates reviewed my symptoms on the intake form and listened to me attentively. After examining my ear, he explained to me that I developed an allergy to the previous medication, and then he prescribed another medication that completely eradicated my infection. Dr. M is outgoing, friendly, and highly trained. His medical assistant Angela is skilled and knowledgeable. I scheduled an appointment by phone but checked in online. The practice's web portal is efficient and easy to use. There are many locations throughout the Island, so I usually can see a physician within 24 hours notice. I ask truly and by this wonderful office, staff and Dr. Gehani. I wrote up early with an ear problem. I called the office at 7 am when they opened. I told them that I was on the L.I.E. heading to Great neck and needed to get in. They arranged for me to go to this office as soon add I can get there which was amazing. The front desk staff are very nice and greeted me. The nurses and Dr. Gehani was great. He did a thorough exam on me, took his time and was very thorough. what a great experience!!! read more

First off let me say I have never in my life written a review for a doctor. I saw doctor berman in Melville last week. He attempted to take out a tonsil stone and never looked back in my throat to see how it looked afterwords . While he was very talkative and nice he didn't really do anything. He had gotten a call regarding another patient and was rude on the phone and it reply distracted him. He was very frazzled and not professional. When I got home the tonsils were still big and inflamed . He prescribed a mouth wash that never went through to my pharmacy . I called back and they told me they didn't send it and will send it again. It was never sent. Needless to say I wasted 50 dollars and time and had to go to urgent care who told me it is not a tonsil stone. Very frustrating! read more

I can't speak for all the doctors at this location but I highly advise you to stay away from Berman; he is worst doctor in the history of doctors. for someone who specializes in ears he sure as heck can't hear what his patients are telling him; poor manners that would truly disappoint his mother & charged $302 dollars to remove wax which we did not ask for since we were there for sinus issues. Not to mention a $766 nasal endoscopy of which my insurance only covered $330. To end it all meds prescribed did not work & ended up with an ear infection 3 days later after removing wax & being told nothing was wrong with the ear. I ended up going to Optum for the ear infection & brought the same paper work & history of the sinus issue & the Optum Dr. sat & went thru it all in detail & got to the bottom of the 4 month issue. read more

This place is a joke avoid it at all costs. I went to this place two times because I had a nasal congestion that lasted for two years after a modernal booster shot. The first time Dr. Mukija said it was due to acid reflux. Yeah right maybe aliens were causing it. The second time I saw an obnoxious doctor named Berman would has the worst bed manner I ever saw. He prescribed some stupid over the counter nose spray that did nothing. Finally I saw a real doctor that prescribed a combination medical and saline solution that worked. Both these clowns should have their medical licenses revoked and get a job cleaning toilets at Macdonalds. read more

AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS! Unless you like to be financially taken advantage of by a doctor that does NOT care about you. You are just another paycheck to them. I went to see Dr. Mukhija for a potential sinus infection. As I waited to be seen, for my first time with him, they left my door open and I could hear a DOCTOR talking to the girls at the back desk saying "Oh come on, am I mean?" multiple times. Lucky me, that same person was my doctor. He came and NEVER once touched my sinuses to see if they were congested. Told me what he thought I might have and prescribed me an antibiotic. He then says i'm curious at how congested you are and looks in my nose for literally .5 seconds. A normal, caring doctor would have used a Otoscope or again, felt my sinuses on my face. I actually thought he was using an Otoscope until a month later i get a bill for a $766 endoscopy! The best is he was finishing up with my less then 4 minute visit, he says "Anything else, 3...2....1.. okay you're done". Talk about having any sort of empathy or bedside manner. I tried calling the office to question this bill, since this is literally absurd. So far, all they have to say is pay us. NO EMPATHY, NO CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS, JUST MONEY HUNGRY. I will never be back and I will make sure no one I know ever goes here to get taken advantage of. This will be my first review followed by many more platforms so I can save someone else from being used and abused. Stay away from Dr. Neal Gehani. He is unable to use a scope effectively and is an alarmist. I would never recommend this ENT to anyone. I had to go to another ENT office to disprove Dr. Gehani's horrific diagnosis. What a disaster! read more

I went to ENTA during a really stressful medical event and I am so, so grateful to Dr. Gehani and the lovely staff. I don't think I've ever had a doctor so thorough who takes his time and answers all questions so calmly. He is such a reassuring, patient medical professional and I am beyond lucky to have found him through my insurance. I'm so happy that he is now my ENT. The desk staff is very nice and makes booking appointments easy. I also have to mention the woman who helped me the first time I called. This location is very easy to find, located right in the lobby and is very spacious. The people working at the desk have always been nice and welcoming! Scheduling an appointment is also easy because they have an online portal and availabilities on Saturdays too. As someone who has terrible chronic sinus issues I've been here multiple times to see Dr. Gehani who is absolutely wonderful!! Dr. Gehani is thorough and really takes his time ensuring he checks everything and also explains what possible next steps we can take. He is very knowledgeable and I like that he doesn't go straight to prescribing me something but looks into alternatives. I seriously could not recommend a better doctor!! Even though I have to drive out from pretty far the care and service is so worth it!! I was the first in my family to visit him and now I have 4 of my family members who visit him for their allergy / sinus issues too! read more

I was so worried about getting my ears cleaned I mean I heard about the possible pain and suffering that was part of the process! (Yes I had ear wax build up ewww come on we are all adults lmao) So I first noticed a really nice looking place modern clean attractive too...not all offices have all of the above going for it...and 1small negative, the desk personal could use a few lesson on pleasantness... Ok down to the meat of this whole critique!! Dr. Kahn was amazing ..a great bedside manner and professionalism. I Amazing doctor when I made the appt on line the doctor called me immediately and was able to schedule a hearing test in addition has an appt two hours from my inquiry. I have NEVER experienced such professional and courteous service from a doctors office d like this. I was extremely impressed. The on line portal is unmatched by any other professional medical office. Easy to use and not complicated. Everything is automated and no hiccup in hhr operation. Appt went very smoothly and I was amazed how well the operation was set up. I run the chambers of commerce in suffolk county and will not only write a great review on the Nextdoor app where I learned of Dr Neil Gehani but on the other e-commerce sites. I saw dr Peter Berman at the Melville office. I have never written a review here but feel compelled to. Peter Berman was the most arrogant, rude, dismissive doctor. DO NOT GO TO HIM! He even told me that my explanation of the incident with my ear was probably not so. It was an extremely loud noise right on my ear and I had instant hearing loss. He told me he couldn't do anything and I should get a hearing aid. I went back to ENT and saw Dr Gehani who was wonderful. Couldn't have been nicer. Patient and very thorough. He prescribed a medicine for two weeks that he said would probably improve the hearing. It did and I am forever grateful to Dr Gehani. Dr Berman should retire and not practice anymore. I happened to speak with some friends in the medical field afterwards ( should have before) and found that Dr Berman is also not liked by his peers! Stay clear of him. read more

Beware of this establishment. I went to see the ear dr with an issue. After he fixed it he said we have to give you a hearing test. I paid my co-pay and left. Just received a bill for another co-pay. When I called they said they had to charge for the hearing test. I called my insurance and they said that ENT billed them 2X and I have to pay the second co-pay because of that. I had a very poor experience this morning at the Islandia office. I am not normally the type to leave bad reviews, but this warranted one. The receptionist was very nice, but that was the only good part about my visit. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment as instructed, filled out paperwork, and was all checked in. I was not taken into a patient room until 11:30 for my 10:50AM appointment. Once I got there, Dr. Stern was less than enthused to see me. She was standoffish and did not seem to care about the concerns I had. This was a very negative experience and I felt like none of my questions were answered, but I certainly do not want to go back here. read more
