Had difficulties with a sinus infection and I met with Dr. Gargano at the Patchogue office. He gave me a thorough examination and ordered a CT scan. My infection lasted quite some time because some difficulties that I have with my maxillary sinuses. The online booking for appts this place uses is a joke I booked an appt had to wait on hold forever finally after I booked and waited 2 weeks for an appt I took off work only to be told never had an appt how the hell did I know to go to this location at a certain time with a certain Dr on a certain date did I just dream this up I'm going to a different Dr don't waste your time this place needs to get their **** together for sure read more

unlike what others said the receptionist very nice and sweet. she apologized and felt bad but it doesn't justify this place booking me for an appointment when i told them twice on the phone i have health first insurance.. and that i need to be seen to check my tonsills are healed bc i had tonsillitis twice back to back. I waited a month just to get in did this appointment. Eric Bergson is the one one in the whole place that takes my insurance. they didn't book me w him, but even if they did i'm told he doesn't work w tonsills?? how are you an ENT and how did whoever booked this appointment totally make 2 mistakes and waste a month of my time. took off work for nothing now have to make that time up. Total deceptive practices. Only there to 'bang out' your insurance. Charged two copays - one at office and via mail. Billed complex eval when doctors spent minutes = one copay. Hearing test, billed a second copay under audiologist. No warning, no notification and no signage explaining this. Went here for a second opinion - same process at another office was only one copay. The $200+ they got for the 8 minutes wasn't enough. Billing office - totally just about $ and rude. Go elsewhere... read more

Office not the friendliest, calm today seemed as if I was bothering the person. First doc I saw had little to no bedside manner. Sent me for a test never called back with results. I walked into the office without an appointment. My nose had been bleeding for close to an hour. I asked if it were possible for me to see a doctor. For it was there or the ER. The woman at the front desk told me to wait a minute. She got me in! The doctor was extremely nice, his name is Dr. Bonafede. I told him my story, he started the examination. He ended up cauterizing the vessel. He told me I was a good patient. I go back in 2 weeks for a follow up. Thank you once again. read more

Dr. Gargano is absolutely awesome. Was not only professional but completely personal and sharp with his knowledge and skills. He was not "in and out" as so many doctors are. He truly cared about my well being and understanding of my condition. Felt a lot of hope from my visit. Even being a new patient the "paperwork" which was all electronic was a piece of cake which is unusual, the front desk ladies were sweet, the lady who checked my hearing was totally caring and loving, and even the check out dude was completely caring and nice. Will be back here whenever I have an issue that qualifies for me to use ENT and Dr. Gargano. A+. read more

I booked an appt for this office & the process was easy, calling, everyone was friendly-call center-very professional. When I got there yesterday, staff was so nice at the front desk. Audiologist was great! When I got to Dr. Zaretsky, wooo, my reason for going there was brushed off immensely, she rushed the hell out of my visit! I was in awe! Grumpy & not pleasant! Office was quite disgusting, I might add. So needless to say, not a fan. Transferring my records to ENT Hauppauge where my son went later that day to see Dr. Poulos- great review to follow! 1 star for Patchogue for the nice staff & ease of booking, otherwise there would've been no stars. I usually do not do this but I hope to save someone from a similar visit. This experience has been the worst patient care of my life. The office and the doctor have lied to me for the last three weeks regarding my care. Every time I spoke to someone in the office I received a different answer regarding my care and next steps. It is three weeks later and I am left with aggravation and no relief. I am forced to go somewhere else due to their lack of concern for my well being. Do not go here!!! Or the one is Islandia or Melville they basically lie about the price to get you in the door!!! They say $200 and up when they know it's going to $175 just to be seen and then $160 per ear they know this is the standard price yet they don't tell you this when you calls they wait until after the procedure and your stuck paying whatever they say!!! I would never recommend going here ever. I'm going on Day #2 of them not sending over my script to the pharmacy. I've called them about 6 times and the receptionists tell me to call back the next day to see and that they have no clue why it hasn't been filled yet. For an office that told me there so technologically advanced, maybe they should revert back to the old handy dandy script book because these doctors & medical assistants have no clue what there doing. I will never ever return back to this place again. Can't wait to call on Day #3 to see if they've filled my medicine yet! read more

This very large group of Ear, Nose and Throat Physicians went from 5 stars to none when Ronald C. Sullivan, M.D. retired several months ago. Out the door with this extraordinarily knowledgable and compassionate man went all civility, expertise, efficiency, decency and dignity. Though some doctors' groups are known for being cold and uncaring, we have never encountered such degrading treatment, which is very hurtful as we have been patients there for over 50 years. Dr. Sullivan always diagnosed and treated our illnesses with accuracy and compassion, saw us when we were sick (not set up an appointment for three weeks later), made us laugh now and then, and truly cared about us. We have found since he left that he was the only person in this group with those qualities. It will be difficult to find someone else after such a long association but we will not be back there again. If you value your health and dignity do not use these doctors! read more

i have not been to this location recently but i have always had a positive and professional experience at all of the locations. my daughter has had numerous issues that flare up from time to time and they are always able to help. i truly love this practice and i recommend them frequently. read more
