The two flights back wreaked havoc on my ears - during the second flight descending into Dulles - I could not equalize the pressure in my ears through the normal methods (yawning, swallowing, etc.). The insides of my ears felt like they were going to literally explode and I could barely hear anything. Dr. Rhee looked inside my ears, nose - and asked me a few questions, and reviewed the information from the ER doctor from the night before.
