Please DO NOT GO HERE, at least in the Greenbelt office! I ignored all of the negative reviews only to realize all the bad things about this office is true. Here's a quick breakdown: 1. The office LITERALLY does not return phone calls (except when they call to charge you money for giving you test results over the phone). 2. They charge for EVERYTHING, including CALLING ABOUT RESULTS ($80 for calling about results) 3. They are unapologetic about their poor service causing over a month delay in getting desperately needed medical supplies. 4. They only care about money and use underhanded and unethical tactics to get your money. 5. Patient care, at least in my case, is not a priority at all at this office. 6. The representative of my insurance provider said that this particular provider often receives many complaints. The office manager, Teresa, apparently works remotely and cannot be called directly. Unfortunately, she never returns phone calls, even though billing and other issues are incorrect. That is not how you should conduct any business, especially when there is a major problem. Look, I don't like putting people on blast, especially in this economy, but BEWARE! They do not disclose that calling to give you results is an office visit. If you feel that this office has deceived you or grossly treated you unfairly, please contact the Maryland Board of Physicians who governs them. If you want neglect, ENT services at ENT & Sleep Specialists in Greenbelt has the doctors for you if you want excruciating pain to continue w/out them wanting to lift a finger to help the patient. I am furious about the neglect from the Greenbelt office - I waited for a month for a referred specialist visit for excruciatingly painful ulceration under my tongue that had healed in the month of waiting for appointment but the excruciating pain persisted in glands underneath jaw, the doctor told me that since it healed, that there was nothing he could do! He didn't try to help me at all, ENT & Sleep Specialists made me feel desperate to leave and find another doctor somewhere else that would help me. He barely gave me an examination at my insistence. Never got my neck palpated, no tests done, barely got an examination, it's been two months since my visit and I'm still in pain; I had to see another doctor to find someone that cared because quite honestly, I felt like they didn't care at ENT & Sleep Specialists office, and if they do, they need to step-up, because they totally neglected me into seeing my PCP the next day and am seeing another doctor to figure out what ENT & Sleep Specialists should've done. This place is so ghetto! The front desk reception is trash. They look at you stupidly when you come in, instead of greeting you like normal front desk professionals should. I have never been so mad at a clinic. This place billed me for a service I did not know about, and I tried to reach out to them almost every day for 2 weeks. The first time I was told it was an error, I reached out to insurance, couldn't solve it. I consecutively called them for almost two weeks, even going there in person with the promise that they would call me- NO ONE DID. I called the next day again, and all I got is, "We will call you back", and finally, on the 2nd day, the allergist got back to me saying that you were charged for the service because "we were mixing the treatment for 4 days". Worst ENT you could go to - avoid! First, I was also misdiagnosed by Dr. Patel as others in the reviews were, so I had to visit another ENT. Second, he saw me for three minutes and barely gave me any attention. Third, the billing department calls me non-stop as during the patient intake they lost my referal and the want me to pay them $180 on top of the $20 copay I already pay. A year later, I'm still dealing with this office and I only wish I never went there as I wasn't help by the doctor and ended up with a large bill. read more

I've been here a few times. Mainly for a sinus problem (rhinitis) that would not go away. They are very helpful, knowledgeable and the process is fairly fast. The front desk ladies are always friendly and professional. It always feels like the wait isn't too bad and once you see a doc they have you in and out fast. I've had the pleasure of scheduling a few appointments with a few different docs at this office and each one has been friendly and listened to any concerns I have. Most disorganized group of doctors' offices I've ever been to. If you want to get a sleep study it takes a couple doctor's visits before hand. Every time they refuse to make the next appointment at the previous appointment. They say they will call you, BUT THEY NEVER DO, not a single time. I had to call them back EVERY TIME after hearing nothing. THEN when I show up for my sleep study their credit card machine is down. Instead of letting me do my study and paying later they make me go home and come back the next day. The women felt bad and said I could come in a couple hours late the next night to make it easier on me since I'm a late sleeper. When I get there she acts as if I showed up late and cuts the sleep study two hours Short. So I only got to sleep for 6 hours. This isn't even the worst part. After a couple months of receiving my CPAP machine I realize that I don't need it. When looking up prices online I realize they charged me around 3 times the cost of the actual machine (my insurance didn't cover anything). I ask for a refund. They say yes. I returned the equipment, they give me a receipt and tell me the name of the person who will be handling my refund. It has been 4 months since I returned the equipment, 4 MONTHS, and I have not gotten my refund yet! I've talked to them multiple times about it and they're so disorganized they're still sending me bills for equipment I don't have anymore!!! read more

After lots of swimming in a pool in Mexico, I developed a severe ear infection. I visited Patient First twice within a week in an attempt to get relief from the pain and heal the infection. After days had passed and I hadn't regained any hearing, I was concerned. I was able to make a same-day appointment. Once I entered the lobby, I was welcomed with a smile. I was quickly seen by the doctor who examined my ears and reviewed the medication I was taking. He vacumned my ear and requested that I schedule a follow-up in a few weeks. WORST PLACE EVER. After suffering with a gross tonsils infection for two months with out anyone being able to help I desperately set up an appointment with them. Everything was fine till the day off the appointment. I spoke to the doctor 2 mins tops never told me exactly what it was was more focused on getting me to do a sleep study. Flow was supposed to call me to set that up it's been a week haven't heard a thing. Also the prescription was never handed to me so o spoke with my pharmacy nothing was ready. I call them back to ask if they can send it over and they never did . I had to call them 3 times the same rude staff member picked up every time cutting me off and saying excuses and never fixing the problem. Finally I told them again and they wanted me to loose another day of work to pick up a prescription they should have been given me or sent out. I set up an appointment for a second opinion for an issue after researching ENT specialists in the area. I was really excited to see such great reviews for Dr. Wong. However, the day before my appointment I needed to reschedule because I got sick so I called the office. I was stuck listening to the same soundtrack for 5 minutes! It even sounded like the receptionist had picked up and put me back on hold without acknowledging I was on the line. I hung up and called back the next day. Same thing! I tried again in a couple hours, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the first time they were short staffed and the second time very busy? Then it happened a third time. I did not want to be charged for my 'missed' appointment at this point because there wasn't even the option to leave a voicemail, so I tried again in another hour. FINALLY I got through to a receptionist and informed her of how challenging it was to get in touch with the office. She did not seem phased. I told her I can't have a doctor I can't reach for days and cancelled my appointment. Fast forward a few days and I'm trying to find another ENT specialist to see. I come across the great reviews again for Dr. Wong and people in that office and I figure, OK maybe I will try ONE more time. Same thing, same soundtrack, no voicemail. And on top of that, I feel it's so irresponsible as a doctor's office that I had to write a review so people know what they are getting into. I went to visit with Dr. Wong because I have been having sinus issues for years. So he put me on steroids several times when that wasn't working he had me to go see a allergist. So I'm thinking ok he is really doing his job because no other doctor has recommended the steroids or to see an allergist. I bring him the disc of my sinus cat scan images and he recommends surgery for a deviated septum. At this point I'm all for it because I wanted relief. I go have my surgery and with my insurance I get 90 post op appointments. His office knew that and still charged me the $40 co-pay when I came the week after my surgery to have the packing, splint and stitches taken out. He requested that I come every two weeks so that he can check the surgery area and clean any clots, debris etc. from the surgery. I went to him 3 times after my surgery all in the month of March never reached my 90 day period. Mind you I had the surgery the end of February. Every visit he looked in my nose and suctioned the area then told me to use a nasal rinse and he gave me a prescription for nasal spray. So I then requested to get a copy of my full medical records every time I got an excuse after countless attempts they finally gave it to me. Then I get a bill from them saying I owe $500 from the surgery. Mind you my insurance company already paid them and my portion was ONLY to be $200. My insurance company contacted them on several occasions telling them that yet they still billed me $500. I continued to call the office to speak with the billing dept. and they kept saying they will call me back and never did. So I called back the next day the lady that answered said no one was there from the billing dept. I advised that I was not getting off the phone until I spoke with someone because they continued to say they will call me back and never do. So magically the woman from the billing dept. got on the phone and I explained my bill and that they needed to change it or I will have my insurance co get involved again. I get a call back that day and was told to only pay $200. I sent the bill over to my insurance company and was informed they told the office during the time of the surgery I have to pay $200 and NOTHING on the bill they sent matched ANYTHING the insurance company had on file and that the office was already paid for the surgery along with my 90 post op appointments which I never received because every visit they tried to charge me. Beware of this office and make sure to check your bill and investigate because they will try to take your money for services not performed. Now I am currently looking for another ENT for a 2nd opinion because I am still having issues after the surgery. read more
