Overall good care. Usually no problems getting in to be seen fairly quickly. They are pretty good at working with you and your insurance and Dr. Lazar is good at spending time with you and listening to your concerns. My daughter broke her nose playing softball and we went to LeBonheur through E.R. And were able to follow up with Dr. Lazar less than a week later. We had seen him before in the past for adenoid issues my kiddo was experiencing. Staff is helpful and mostly courteous. read more

I've been dealing with severe sinus and ear problems for a long time. The doctor walked in and asked me what I was there for. He appeared to be listening, but obviously he was not. He never checked my sinuses and looked in my ears for a second if that long. My hearing is affected at times because of my issues. He told me there was nothing wrong and I needed hear aids. I have a serious sinus infection going on right now! I don't care if I need hearing aids, that's not the problem. The problem is he didn't even care to try to see if i had any issues, which I do. I am older and he just tried to sell me hearing aids. There is no way he made a correct diagnosis without checking me out for underlying issues. Terrible experience. read more

If you're using out-of-network insurance, expect to pay $250.00 (plus a 4% credit card usage fee) for a simple ear infection appointment. The follow-up visit will be $160.00. The only advantage is that they will try to fit you in for an appointment on the very same day that you want to get treated. After suffering an acute sinus infection for several weeks, my daughter urged me to see Dr. Lazar. Upon my arrival, the office staff was wonderfully kind, the office manager came out to greet me personally, the nurses showed great concern for me and were extremely caring. And Dr. Lazar was not only patient and accommodating but had a great sense of humor to boot! I felt better before leaving the office and I'm continuing to improve as I write this review. My poor little wife began suffering from sinus issues after we both had Covid in January. Her pcp referred her to Dr. Lazar in June. This began one of the most unproductive medical journeys I have experienced. The good doctor walked in and never introduced himself or seemed too concerned. He looked in my wife's nose and diagnosed acute sinusitis. A ct scan was performed later in the month with surgery decided as the best solution to her condition. We prepared and planned for her to be off her feet for several days and anxiously waited for the scheduled date. We were to report to St. Francis Bartlett at 5:30am. On the evening prior to surgery, my wife noticed that she had a voicemail from Dr. Lazar's office. It was his nurse calling to tell us that Dr. Lazar had cancelled the surgery. Twelve hours before the time we were supposed to be at the hospital, they call to cancel by voicemail. The nurse told us that she would call on the following morning to explain. At 6:30 on the next morning, someone from St. Francis called us to find out where we were and why we had not reported for surgery. Evidently, no one from Lazar's office had called to let them know the surgery was cancelled. Amazing! We waited all morning for that call from his nurse. Finally at 11:30, I called and left word for her to call us. She called an hour later to tell us that a blood condition had caused the doctor to cancel the surgery and she would need to see a hematologist. Okay, we thought that he was erring on the side of caution but to try to call and cancel 12 hours before our scheduled time? Is that how they treat people? The referral to the hematologist became problematic. Both of us attempted to talk to the scheduling woman with little success. One time, I called and told the girl at the front desk that we were having problems communicating with this woman to which the receptionist said she found it hard to believe since this woman always returned calls promptly. I began laughing at that which seemed to disturb the receptionist. After several weeks of not hearing anything other that who the hematologist was, we called his office. An appointment was scheduled for August. On our fist visit, the hematologist's receptionist said she would call Dr. Lazar's office to get the needed referral. While I stood there, the hematologist looked up at me from the phone to say that the girl in Lazar's office said that they had no patient by my wife's name. Incredible! I called and was put on the phone with his nurse who said that she had faxed the info to the hematologist's office the prior week. They said they had never received this info. The hematology report comeback that my wife would have no problem with surgery. The report was sent back to Lazar's office and we waited to hear from them for a rescheduled surgery. We never heard back. My wife's pcp referred us to a new ent who has already shown more care and concern. A surgery date is scheduled for the spring at which time she will get the treatment she should have been given nine months prior. I blame Dr. Lazar and his staff for this nine month delay in her treatment. I am 67 years old and have never experienced this kind of treatment. read more

terrible place on estate. dr didnt even look in my ears, sent me to their hearing aids guy in office and did a hear scan, not covered. i didnt go in for loss of hearing. went in for sinus and ear pain. the office was nasty. the patients in there were allowed to play videos loudly on their phone and some were vulgar. told girl at desks and said nothing,..he is horrible read more

Quick in and out with this doctor's office. It's cozy, not too swanky or new, but he is the only bilingual ENT in the city of Memphis, and his office staff is also bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. Kids and adults are all served well here, and the wait is never long. Appointments can be made online, which is so convenient. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this place. Yesterday we woke up to my 6 year old son's nose bleeding(not a lot but enough) from his tonsillectomy he had on the 1st. I called at 9 and I got reception, I explained the situation was urgent because he was bleeding from his nose. They said they would get a nurse to contact me soon. I then called at 12 since I had not been called back like they said they would. Then at about 1 I called Le Bonheur across the street where he had his surgery done at to get them to get ENT Memphis to call me. They sent us home before his surgery with a piece of paper of all the tricks that could help stop the bleeding in case a situation like this occurs. My sons nose had stopped bleeding so I assumed all the tricks worked but I was calling because that was what they told me to do. We did what the paper said to do and I even went back to what they said to give him on the second day after surgery and just did cold water and only cold soft foods. Finally when they called me at 3:48 and I was in the middle of a meeting and did not see my phone had received a call. When I got out it was 5:30 and they were closed. Well today he threw up enough blood to fill 3 trash bags. As I'm getting him in the car I'm on the phone finally with a nurse from this place. She tells me I need to take him to the ER and I said I'm doing that right now and I need to know where to go and what things I need to do for him. She said "well put some ice on his neck", I said "I am in the car heading to the ER I can't do that right now." She then said well I can't do anything else for you have a good day. Needless to say when I go in for my sons follow up they will be getting a ear full. My sons myoglobin count is low and had to be air lifted from Lexington TN to Le Bonheur in Memphis, this place could've prevented that if they took my call yesterday! read more
