Unfortunately I did not get the name of the lady that was rude rude rude to me the other day. I will be getting it the next time I go in and posting it here. I walked in to mail a package. She calls me to the counter and I could overheard her being difficult with the customer infrint of me so I knew this wasn't going to be pleasant. I hand her my package and since there was No one else besides the guy ahead of me I had not yet finished filling out the address label. She reaches accross the counter a swipes my purse, wallet and keys off to the center of her and the other checkout guy. While I finish filling it out. No big deal to ask me to move. I consider it very rude to reach accross and grab someone else's things and move them for you like that. So I finish filling out the label and in that time four or five customers walk in. She takes one person while I do the label and then two more after I was finished. I finally kinda had to slide in front of her to make her take it. So I slide my credit card and she asks to see it. I have written "check ID" on the back where your signature goes. Did she ever ask for my ID? No. She instead asked me to sign the back of my card. Ok. Well the signature space was taken and the rest has punched out numbers so I used the space next to it where there was a clear, but tiny spot and I signed with a marker that was not permanent that she handed me. I then handed her that with my license. She then said that was not my signature. I said yes it was. She then pointed out to me that it does not look like the signature that I had 13 years ago that looks like I did it with my left hand with hearts over the i because I was 15 years old at the time. I pointed to my license and I said I was 15 here, it's changed a bit. She then asked me for another form of payment and I said no, I'm using this card. At this point I was fed up and I was not going to be nice anymore so I just asked for a manager and I had to call my husband to come inside from the car to pay for my package. She then put my package in a special locked up place and it took them like 5-10 minutes to retrieve my package, instead of just handing it back to me! And she did it in the split second that she had to go back there and ask for a manager just to be even More rude to me, and for absolutely no apparent reason. The manager took my card and was more then helpful and showed me a framed sign that explains why they now need signatures on the card itself. I said to him, I HAD NO PROBLEM SIGNING THAT CARD---your employee would not accept my signature. Since the signature with the pen they gave me somehow got wiped right off, I signed it again and he accepted it. Very very nice Chinese manager, very helpful and apologetic. But I've never experienced such rudeness from someone in all my life, and I will be reporting this woman. read more
