I can't belive that they don't have HOLIDAY stamps. According to Clerck # 13 No Location has holiday stamps. True or not ??? Or was it because all I needed wr 3 stamps and she didn't want to get them ??? Guess we won't know. read more

The post office often gets unfair hate, mostly because of things out of their control. It can be pretty expensive to ship things, but I have noticed that, when asked about, the people behind the counter are more than willing to help customers. In addition, they have all seemingly been there for years, so they know their stuff. If talking to people isn't your forte, they always have a self service machine in the lobby - that can sometimes get a little confusing, but it isn't terrible. read more

Honestly I miss my old Post Office in Oviedo... mainly because there were chickens there and they had a machine. I would like this location a lot more if there was a machine available to ship large envelopes and small packages. There is definitely enough space here for this. The people who work here, however, are quite pleasant but its the line that tends to get out of control and therefore a machine could help this. I hope they consider this for the future. read more

You need an appointment to send out your passport but nobody answers the phone to make one. I was told to make one on the website and the only availability was more than a week from now even though there was absolutely nobody else in there. Go to casselberry instead. read more

So.... I just got cursed out by a mail carrier. Why? Because I was going the speed limit on a residential area and he was apparently in a hurry. As I put my turning signal, he pulls next to me, told me that legally he can go pass me and as I started to speak he continues to tell me that he "doesn't give a fuck" about what I have to say and speeds away. Typical post office experience. Sometimes the wait is long and sometimes it's not. Everyone there does their job and seems to be somewhat happy. The only thing I don't like about this location is that they got rid of the machine you could use to mail your packages. Never a wait to use it and now it's no longer an option! read more

This is the absolute worst post office I have ever had to deal with. I've lived here 5 yrs and from day one we have had the worst service from this post office. Mail missing and delivered to my neighbors. I regularly get other people's mail. Packages often left in the wrong parcel locker, or in the right parcel locker but they forget to leave me the key. This post office and it's carriers have cost me money is damaged items from being left in the boiling heat of the wrong parcel locker over many days while I have to do the grunt work of trying to track my package down and get someone at this post office to listen to me and do something. It's frustrating and unacceptable. I wish there was a way, short of moving, to avoid having to deal with them. read more

Terrible service I set an appointment for a passport and I arrived here before everyone and everyone kept skipping me. I kept being told to wait despite my appointment and being here early. Extremely disappointed how I was treated. Until I ran into Rene he was the only good part of the process so helpful and nice and just an all around good person! read more

The bad things about this post office it its location and the horrible parking. There are only so many parking spots in front of the post office, and if all those get filled up ... you have to park further away in the strip mall. Not that bad but a little bit of a pain if you're hoping to get in and out. If you plan on having to hit up the post office during the Christmas season, forget about it. It is ridiculous. Long, super long lines and forget about parking!! Yikes! Inside the post office itself, no complaints. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. read more

I've been going to Themis post office for a long time. The workers are nice and helpful when it comes to everything. They do passports here as well. The only knock that I have is that they're on their own time meaning they have no sense of urgency or do not rush even if there is a lot of people in line. This happens in all post offices that I been to. I don't know why they're like that but it's all good cause when it is your turn they take of you. read more

First and last time at this location. The management staff is full of excuses as to the rudeness, and taking priority to "regular". Because my legal first name is typically seen as a female name they has me issues over that. The manager over the postal clerk said this bias is standard practice and comes from "corporate". I've gone to several other locations and never had that issue. Their response when I said that they were being rude was "I'm sorry you feel that way." They could care less. UGH. I have serious horrible (consistent) experiences with USPS. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered to my home but apparently it required a signature, so they left a notice on my door. I understand that, it's protocol. I work Monday through Friday, 7:45-5. It's basically impossible for me to be home for redelivery. So I set it up through their system online to pick up at the post office on a morning I knew I would have a few hours off. First, I live in Winter Springs close to the Oviedo mall- yet this location, which is more than halfway to Sanford, was my pick up location. Okay fine. I drive 30 minutes to get here, almost missing the entrance because it's not clearly marked. I hand over my slip, and chaos ensues. Three different employees spend over 25 minutes searching for my package. The only thing I get is "we're not sure where it is", apologetic shrugs and then they ask me to sit while they keep looking. I'm already pretty irritated at this point and have wasted a significant amount of my ONLY morning off this week, when I am called up again to the counter. Surprise- my package is with some carrier out in the city. Why? I told the employee that I had requested to pick it up at the post office and they said they knew but somehow it still made it on a truck. Oh, okay makes sense (not really. I'm fuming.) So now I am currently sitting here waiting for the carrier to return with my package, which they said can take about 30 minutes. Thanks for wasting my morning USPS. read more

From my experiences at this location, half of the staff are unhelpful and rude, and the other half are perfectly fine. There's one gentleman there who is actively looking for a fight with every person he deals with. He pretty much goes out of his way to provoke people, and has no idea what he's doing half of the time. I've had great experiences at other locations, with this place being the outlier. Although this is the closest location to me, I'll be making the drive to Oviedo or Longwood instead just to spare myself the misery. read more

Winter Springs Post Office inside is OK; however, the mail carriers out on the route could care less about our mail. My son's college diploma came in a hard envelope that clearly and in large print said "Do Not Fold". They folded it and the diploma has a crease making it not suitable for framing. I went in to complaint to supervisor and she said she would talk to the carrier. The next day, I received an envelope with my 4 year Notary Commission documents and stamp, etc. It was not placed all the way into the mailbox and was hanging out the front with the lid hanging open. If someone had taken this package, it would have caused not only problems for me but it could have been used for fraudulent purposes by the person who may have decided to take it. There is a note in my mailbox now to my mail carrier to read (every day if necessary) as to how mail should be handled. The carriers need to slow down and take care of people's mail like they want theirs taken care of. I wish there was another option. read more

I live near the Oviedo post office, but I went to Winter Springs because they offer passports. While waiting for my passport appointment (only 15 minutes) I overheard them helping customers, welcoming many of them by name, smiling and laughing. When it was my turn I felt just as welcome. I wish Winter Springs was my local post office! Also, Winter Springs is a stand alone building with ample parking and beautifully shady. read more
