It wasn't too bad, but my room was pretty small and the bed was hard. Staff were kind and kept checking on me. Detox went smooth, but the food was repetitive and not very tasty. Still, the nurses were helpful and caring. read more

Let me start off with saying, Care Counseling is just the finance company that takes care of the…read morebilling for individual counselors. I was referred to a counselor at Care Counseling. Care Counseling called and put me with a completely different therapist. I was told there was a copay (which was odd, with my insurance) so I asked and was told that was how Tricare was doing things. Well after a few months, the copay went up even more. I asked the front desk as well as my therapist, Leah Thompson Everett, and was once again told that's all Tricare. So a year later, I speak to my provider and they too said there should not be a copay and send me to the Tricare office. just to find out...... Care Counseling & Leah Thompson Everett were both lying. My referral was not for Leah and that's why I had such a high copay. Had care counseling put me with the appropriate therapist, I wouldn't have had to pay $56 per visit for over a year. When speaking to Care Counseling, Jeannette in billing was very understanding and wanted to come up with a solution. she reached out to Leah to see how to make things right and Leah accused me of trying to get her to commit insurance fraud. May I also add, Leah is a very self centered therapist who will take any opportunity to speak about herself. At first I blamed myself because I can deflect at times, but that's the job of a therapist to redirect. She also brings her big Mastiff to work and will burn multiple candles to cover the awful dog smell. Her knowing I'm allergic to dogs and candles, I found this very unprofessional. I do not recommend Leah Thompson Everett for multiple reasons.

After the first visit, the physical therapists I worked with would have 2 patients at a time and so every time I got done with an exercise I would have to stand there awkwardly for a few minutes until she came back. It caused me more pain than before I went in and their theory was that you will be more painful before you get better. Whereas all of my other physical therapists before said if it causes pain, DON'T DO IT!

They took their time and made sure you were happy with your choices. But beyond that, my spouse had a serious eye condition. He has been to several optometrists over the years and told he had holes in his retinas but was never told it was important to have it checked beyond an eye exam. Family Eye Center did not just pass him off. They schedule him to see a specialist where he found out one of the holes was leaking. If he had waited much longer he could have lost vision in that eye. I have to say I was really nervous and anxious prior to beginning my 30 day journey here. To my surprise, I felt welcomed, comfortable and relieved within my first few days at the center. The staff, environment and program was great! The other residents and I formed a family bond and I knew from just my first week that I was in the right treatment center and my recovery was off to a great start. I am forever grateful to all those who helped me get through the tough challenges that recovery can bring to an addicts path. See you around! read more

I began drinking at an early age and my drinking became regular by my early teenage years. I was a kid who never felt like I fit in anywhere, and I struggled with anxiety and feelings of loneliness. The program I am in today helps me actually feel my feelings and I am constantly reminded of the fact that my feelings will not kill me.
