My life circumstances has required me to cut my life's expenses. I arrived at the dealership and I thought it was odd that they wanted to look at my trade first before I even looked at the vehicle I was there to see. The sales manager came out, introduced himself (wish I could remember his name) took my keys, went and inspected my vehicle, came back without a word and dropped my keys back on the salesman desk I was sitting at. The salesman provided me with a CarFax report and stated their service center had inspected and serviced the vehicle. The salesman then said he would pull the vehicle I was looking at up to the front of the building. I could see him going back and forth, just wandering, first saying he couldn't find the keys, then he comes over and said it was out of gas and he needed to go put gas in it. When he comes back , he's at the front counter, back turned, talking to someone at the front desk. I had an uncomfortable feeling. He finally returned and said, ok I have it pulled up out front. I get into the vehicles drivers seat. I turn the vehicle on. EVERY Dash-light and warning sign is on. Brake, transmission, sensors , abs, steering. I say , all the lights are on and they're staying on. The car, sputters, brakes soft, steering is difficult. We take the car for a test drive, get back to the dealership. I start testing the A/C Not working! We get out, he tells me, his service department will take care of the issues. He Is not interested in showing me the vehicle, doesn't open hood, backseat or show me any of the features. Opens up the back lift gate to show me it has weather tech mats . I look, every wheel is chewed up and cracked. He comments something to the effect that they gave me compensation towards my trade for the condition of the wheels or something to that nature. We walk back in and sit down back at the salesman's desk. He pulls out the appraisal of my car ( from the sales manager). Indicates that it's from the Kelly Blue Book values. My car is a BMW 7 years NEWER than the Cadillac I was looking at, 50.000.00 LESS miles in great condition (NO DASH or WARNING lights on. Their offer was $4500 more than their HOOPTY ! Keeping in mind they were saying it's based on Kelly Blue Book value. I have provided the same day Kelly Blue Book instant offer from the same day! $ 2575.00 higher . Basically robbery, of my car and double dipping . I went to a Cadillac dealership expecting an experience that would warrant a reputable dealership, I instead got the POT-LOT experience. I wouldn't buy a lawnmower here.

After driving the car it was making noises and did not sound right. I then asked salesman had he driven it. He stated no. Then after explaining to him the noises the car was making he stated he had driven it around and did not hear noises ?? Glad we had a plan b after driving over an hour to get to dealer ship. Ended up going to Wally's dealership down the road and was able to get a vehicle with great service and communication even though I had never spoken with them previously. Save yourself the headache and go to Wally's first.

We have good/great credit and Jimmy was helping us. We allowed them to run our credit to see if we could get a better rate than what we already got approved for. They came back with double the rate we already got approved from. So I told them we would like to use our financing that we got approved from in our state because the rate was so much better. Jimmy then told me they would not do out of state financing. Doesn't make any sense to me because all banks are located out of state when it's being funded. The check automatically comes from another state. I called my bank and they said this is not normal and they have never heard of any dealership not accepting financing out of state. I was excited because I had found the vehicle I had been searching for for months and overall disappointed that we weren't able to complete the sale. I originally put a $1000 deposit on the vehicle to hold and they reimburse me because I would not go through their financing. His suggestion was to finance through them and then refinance in my state when we got our paperwork. That's a horrible suggestion. Why would I refinance when I've already got a good rate through another lender? Horrible interest rate for good to great credit that was mandatory for me to use in order for me to purchase the vehicle.

DANGER! PLEASE READ!! I went to Tire Choice for a wiggle in my steering wheel. They told me I…read moreneeded a new intermediate steering shaft and it would cost me $770, which I paid and waited over a month for at that time. The mechanic mentioned he was waiting on AutoZone for the part, so I called to confirm and was told by autozone that they were indeed waiting on my part even though I couldn't order it as a layman. The wiggle was NOT fixed when this 'new' part was installed so I was promised a new clock spring to attempt to fix it. This took another month. After which it was STILL not fixed. This entire time I was repeatedly assured that my car was SAFE TO DRIVE. My wheel shook, but what did I know? It made me nervous to drive highway so I was topping a hill on a back road going about 45mph when my tire blew. The drive home was...interesting. Even with the donut on-my wheel wasn't shaking! I went to Tire Choice to tell them this and they sold me tires and sent me on my way. The next day, I was reversing and straightening out to leave a friend's house when my steering wheel KLUNKED and I lost the ability to control the tires. As my new mechanic put it, the part DISINTEGRATED while I was driving it!! My new mechanic informed me that the intermediate steering shaft for my car could ONLY be ordered through a dealership! He also fixed the wiggly wheel for $25, btw. Tire Choice is part of Monro Corporate and they are only covering the repairs by the new mechanic and they have taken a week to review the case (never once reaching out to me), and are telling me to it will be another week before the check is even MAILED! I am still in the hole for the $770 charge for the unnecessary parts they installed that caused TWO NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES IN A ROW. This has been a massive strain on my finances and a drain on my mental health for what should have been a simple fix. I have also never received even a simple apology at any point. They do not seem to care about their customers' safety in the slightest. Thank you for taking the time to read this whole thing. It's been a nightmare.
