The staff was great! I reserve economy car for memorial day weekend. It was for a 9am pickup. I show up at 9am and I was told the cars haven't been returned. I was offered a mini van. I did not take that because of parking and too big for my needs. I was told to come back so I went to have a quick breakfast. Long story short the car never came back and the staff worked hard to get me a vehicle. After a great deal of calling to customers with cars and other Enterprises one was found. They ordered a car service to the other location and I was on my way. ***To corporate allowing customers to extend there rental with other renters behind that reservation is irresponsible? If your staff was unable to get me a car what would have been the recourse? Maybe each location needs other stand by cars other then a large out of date mini van. Also the car I got at the other location was dirty on the inside like it hadn't been clean thoroughly. The staff at the Emprie blvd location is the only reason I am giving a 4star for the staff! read more

One star. Rented here for a work trip and the whole thing was a mess from the start. I had a reservation. What I got was a long wait at another Brooklyn branch, no explanation, and eventually being sent over to this location instead. By the time I actually had keys in hand I was well behind schedule for a trip I could not push. The car they put me in was a subcompact, not what I reserved, and it was in rough shape. Nobody at any point seemed particularly concerned about any of it. No apology, no attempt to make it right, no acknowledgment that sending a customer to a second location and downgrading them is a problem. It got worse after I returned the car, and I am currently disputing a damage charge with them that I do not believe is mine. I will leave it at that. If you rent here, build in extra time and take photos of the car before you drive off. read more

Since I can't find the enterprise page for the crown heights location- Before I came in, I was told I needed a credit card or a debit card and a current utility bill. Reserved a vehicle which of course was not available in person. Alright, expected. So I was offered something else which turned out better. The fee came up to $310 on line, in person you gotta pay a deposit of $300. Alright not expected but I'm cool I'm calm. Then I was told the debit card thing was BS and the credit card thing gotta have a onetime transaction. Waste of time and energy. Nothing like that was discussed. Definitely should add these things to the fine print. Anybody know a good car rental place for the future ? read more

The staff (like at all enterprise locations) is incredibly kind and helpful. They find a way to be as efficient as possible and it's the best car rental experience on the market hands down. I don't care if it costs a little more it's 10000000000000x better than thrifty/hertz/etc. Somebody needs to reward this company for how humane the process in a world of AI bots and QR code everything- there's a human touch and excellent service. Super unprofessional location!!! STAY AWAY!! I truly believe they denied me service based on my culture. I provided my reservation number and the employee refused to acknowledge my reservation number because it was for another branch. Employee refused to give me his name. I called Geico to have the reservation sent to this branch and even after the reservation was switched to this branch the Employee still refused to provide service. The Assistant Branch Manger (Renee) then provided a story that they did not have any cars available. Management cannot deny this particular incident because everything was recorded on the camera premises. Employees were just walking around not even working. Terrible Enterprise location. read more

I've rented cars at multiple Enterprise locations across the city and want to call this one out as my favorite. They've reached out to double confirm my reservation, they always have similar cars to what you've booked, are easy to get in and out of if you're in a rush It's not always the most fun experience renting a car, sometimes they don't have what you need or there's an issue with the car. While waiting to pick up my car one morning I saw the thorough COVID protocols they were taking to ensure each car was clean inside and out. I also want to give a special shoutout to the employee who helped me when I first came here, Michelle is AMAZING. She brought a genuine curiosity to the small talk we were having about our personal lives / careers and it made me feel 10x more welcome to come to this location for my car rental needs. Like many other reviewers here, I ended up at this rental location when dealing with an insurance claim with my car in the shop. I wish I had the name of the person who helped me when I arrived in not the most grounded state to pick up the vehicle. This customer service associate was, hands down, one of the most fantastic professionals I have encountered, especially with something like car rental, which can require a a lot of patience for both laborer and customer. This person was kind, swift, and convivial and helped me both with the rental and with settling into the situation with a sense of humor. Honestly this place is THE BEST rental car facility I've ever been to -- in Brooklyn, in NY state, even out in the burbs of the rest of middle America. That is saying a lot because, quite frankly, chains come to Brooklyn to die and renting a car in this city can be an absolute nightmare. Every person who has attended to me has been professional, polite, kind! They are fast and efficient, and when they can't be fast because of lines, they are very attentive. I have always made a reservation and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. The cars are IMMACULATE, and if they are busy and don't have a car prepared they will either give you another option or clean the car right there. Clean cars are a huge plus, but in covid times they are essential for piece of mind (during this time I rented from Budget in downtown Brooklyn and was disgusted and creeped out by how dirty the car was inside and out. Really made me appreciate Enterprise!) Honestly, during Covid this place has been a life saver. They provide reliable service and a reliable product -- I've had a lot of peace of mind renting from here. The only downside is they do not offer one-way rentals, but I've noticed this across NY and NJ during the pandemic. The only time I used another car service (Budget, mentioned above) was when I needed a one-way rental and MAN I wished it was enterprise on every leg of the journey. Realy excellent place for New Yorker to rent a car. They are used to renters not being car owners,offered extra liability insurance without any hard sell. They had the car ready when we got there,explained the toll charge system and processed the rental quickly. Easy area to drive in and out of which is not always so in Manhattan. Geico reserved a car for me and I spent 2 days calling every enterprise in NYC just to be told that they did not have any cars. I tried my luck on the third day and spoke with Shantel. She was very professional, nice and accommodating. I had been speaking with a lot of enterprise employees and I must say that Shantel was the nicest.Dealing with insurance and a car accident is already stressful enough but Shantel made the experience much better. This is my favorite Enterprise location in Brooklyn, my pickup is always easy, and the staff is really friendly.

I was so happy when this branch opened up again after renovations earlier this year! My husband and I rent a car for a weekend trip here about 2-3 times per month. We do pick ups Friday afternoon (3-5 pm) and drop off Monday. We are usually helped right away and don't have to wait very long if at all like we've had to at other branches. We are both impressed with the level of customer service, professionalism, and courtesy we experience every time. We have never gotten a bad car, and the cars are always nice and clean. The branch manager, Danny took the time to introduce himself to us and give us his business card so we make sure to always make our reservations here since we can always talk to him if we have any requests or questions. His staff is also really friendly and helpful. I had been meaning to write a review because we have both been talking about how great everything is about this branch when the staff went above and beyond to help me out last week. I had just returned a car to the branch, and had just gotten back to my apartment when I realized I had left my apartment keys in the cupholder of the rental I had just returned. My husband was at work, our super was at an appointment, and I was starting to freak out. I knew the Enterprise branch was really busy, and they had just gotten me to my apt, but I called and told them what happened. They immediately sent someone to bring me my keys. There's never any decent cars to choose from and the employees are rude as hell. They give you vehicles with the gas tank almost on 'E', check engine lights on etc. I've never come across such incompetence in any experience of my life. Save your time and reserve somewhere else read more

This place was amazing. We rented a can for a week while we were visiting New York. The check in was quick and easy. Upon returning the vehicle we had 6 people with car seats and luggage. We were waiting for an Uber that never showed up. We were going to arrive late to the airport and possibly miss our flight. It was 5PM on Friday night driving through Brooklyn. The staff went above and beyond to not only get us another vehicle to get us to the airport but to get their in time. They even called the drop off at the airport to let them know we were coming so that everything would be ready and expedited. The staff every single one of them were friendly, helpful, and amazing. We can't thank them enough and were so impressed with their professionalism and genuine customer service!! read more

Wowy. Using this location for its convenience just the once has turned into the biggest hassle ever. I was quoted for a day's use of a car for about $80 - was charged several days later for $719.26. It has now been a month, and I still need to follow up with the location every few days to try and get the remainder of what I shouldn't have been charged added back to my credit card. I'm absolutely never using this location again, and will be cautious to ever think of using Enterprise. read more

I was excited when this branch opened as it was close to me. I went in a couple of weeks after they opened and a young lady (forgot her name) was awesome! She was smart, friendly, and extremely helpful. Her coworker was another story. He was downright rude and refused to be helpful. Anyway, the young lady helped and I was on my way. Fast forward to today and I get on a call with a man named Omar. Something tells me this is the same guy that was rude to me when I was there last. I was trying to sign up online but was running into issues so the corporate number put me through to the branch and said they'd be able to help. Omar was not open to helping, let alone listening to what I needed. Finally, once he listened to what I needed, he said there was nothing he could do for me. Well, that's great. When this branch opened up I was so happy to finally have a close by location because I rent cars quite frequently. It was an unexpected added benefit that the branch is awesome. The staff are so incredibly helpful and nice. The pick-up/drop off process is always super quick and painless unlike other locations I have been to previously. They have also gone above and beyond helping me book reservations whenever I have had issues with the website.
