    I had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this Enterprise location that…read moreultimately caused me to cancel my reservation. I booked a rental online a week in advance with a 6:00 PM pickup time. On February 4 at 10:07 AM, I received a call from the location confirming my pickup. No additional requirements or concerns were mentioned. On the day of pickup, Ben called me at 5:35 PM and told me I needed to arrive earlier because the location closes at 6:00 PM, despite the system allowing customers to book 6:00 PM pickups. I explained that I was in class until 5:50 PM and that the location is a short walk away. I arrived on time and was then told by Ben that I needed two utility bills (cable, internet, or utilities) showing my address. This requirement was never mentioned during booking or during the confirmation call. We were standing in a parking garage, and I was expected to immediately produce documents I had never been told to bring. While I attempted to access my account online, Ben repeatedly rushed me and asked whether I would have it "in the next five minutes." When I pointed out that no one had informed me of this requirement earlier, Ben stated--in a dismissive and mocking tone--that they had called and left a voicemail. This was inaccurate. I answered the call and spoke with someone directly. There was no voicemail. There were two other employees present during this interaction who remained silent while this took place. While I was there, I overheard them joking that they were only cleaning and vacuuming because "Michael" was coming the next day, which they discussed openly. That comment did not inspire confidence in how the location is normally run. Ben then told me they were closing and that I would need to return in the morning. I explained that I needed to be in Long Island by 10:00 AM. He said the location opens at 8:30 AM and that he would schedule me for then. After leaving, I received a confirmation for 7:30 AM, which directly contradicted what I had just been told. An employee referenced Michael in a way that indicated he is in charge. I would genuinely appreciate a call from him, as this experience reflects serious breakdowns in communication, customer service, and overall operations that should be addressed with real customer feedback. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding and cancelled the reservation entirely. I will be taking my business to AVIS down the block next time. As long as Ben is working at this location, I would not recommend renting here unless you are comfortable being spoken to dismissively and dealing with last-minute, undisclosed requirements.

Johnny the branch manager is amazing - he was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and quick. He answered all of my questions and made some recommendations about the return of the car that saved me tons of time (not arriving at a certain time when the courthouse next door is having rush hour). He helped me with car selection, got me a great vehicle, and set my mind at ease regarding the insurance coverage which I had questions about. Return was also a breeze, thanks to Johnny's advice about timing and the prompt and professional attention from the lovely Z. Z was friendly and the return process was simple - she met me at the car, worked quickly and calmly, and I didn't even have to step into the office. National has a great team at this location and I plan to always use this location going forward.

My family and I landed at FLL and worked with Latisha and another gentleman who were also great with our change to our initial reservation. I made a mistake in not reading all of the fine print (they did it all right - I did not see something - it was my error) and upon returning the car both Paul and Rico resolved and handled it with such kindness, understanding and total professionalism. They didn't just fix my issue when I was in a panic - they made me feel valued at National car rental throughout the entire return process. It's rare to find customer service this good, and it made a huge difference in my travel day. Because of Paul and Rico, I'll always choose National when I rent a car. SO easy & highly recommend this location!!!!!

I did not take that because of parking and too big for my needs. I was told to come back so I went to have a quick breakfast. Long story short the car never came back and the staff worked hard to get me a vehicle. After a great deal of calling to customers with cars and other Enterprises one was found. They ordered a car service to the other location and I was on my way. ***To corporate allowing customers to extend there rental with other renters behind that reservation is irresponsible? If your staff was unable to get me a car what would have been the recourse? Maybe each location needs other stand by cars other then a large out of date mini van. Also the car I got at the other location was dirty on the inside like it hadn't been clean thoroughly. The staff at the Emprie blvd location is the only reason I am giving a 4star for the staff!

Reserved a vehicle which of course was not available in person. Alright, expected. So I was offered something else which turned out better. The fee came up to $310 on line, in person you gotta pay a deposit of $300. Alright not expected but I'm cool I'm calm. Then I was told the debit card thing was BS and the credit card thing gotta have a onetime transaction. Waste of time and energy. Nothing like that was discussed. Definitely should add these things to the fine print. Anybody know a good car rental place for the future ?

The way the folks speak to customers is mind blowing. There is atone and attitude like we are all children. It's not just one person it's everyone. It's like this tone of voice has invaded the culture here and it's ok. This is a pure management issue. Given how many bad ratings this place has it also seems as though Sixt doesn't read these reviews. If you are reading this I would suggest finding another place to rent a car unless you like to be talked down to. Then this is your place. I would also add that Sixt is pretty scammy. I rented a 5 series and was told that was guaranteed in my rental when arrived I was told I was "upgraded" to a 4 series. Additionally as a platinum member I am due a second driver for free and was changed anyway. When I mentioned this to the person behind the counter he said there was nothing he could do about it. This is the second time Sixt has pulled a bait and switch in me. So be very careful with them. They bait and switch as a matter of policy.

I cannot say the same for the 2nd experience. I got a quote online for a 3 day rental in Orlando picked up a MCO airport ($332). The in-person sales rep Nelmia straight off the bat tried to upsell us on an upgrade, and made it sound like it was free. It wasn't until we noticed that the final price was greater than our online quote, we had her back out the upgrade. We just wanted the BMW we reserved online, but she switched it to a Volvo (just because we casually mentioned it was the car we drove at home).. Again, we had to get her to revert the order to the BMW. She made further attempts to sell us a pre-paid ez-pass for tolls, but we declined, stating that we wouldn't be travelling anywhere far in Orlando. We declined all protection, but she managed to sneak in protection costing an additional $200, which masqueraded as a security deposit. It wasn't until we received our final invoice (after the trip) that we found out that the extra $200+ was the protection that Nelmia added (without our explicit permission). Why does it have to be this difficult ? Just give me the car I got quoted online, and don't be sneaky about it. She also had the nerve to ask for us to give her a five star review. After hours on chat trying to resolve the additional protection we didn't ask for, customer support said the best they could do is a 50% refund on the protection, leaving us to eat the remainder $100+. Won't be using SIXT ever again after this experience. I gave them 3 or 4 times to make me whole, but got the same 50% refund offer (even after escalating to 2nd level support).
