And when I brought the car back, many days past original booking, Aleyah reviewed my bill and changed it to save me a lot of money. She also decorated the showroom for Halloween. The cars were filthy and dangerous to drive. Took back the first vehicle that was completely dirty and was in such disrepair that it wasn't safe to drive. Then got the second vehicle and it was supposedly "just cleaned" and it was so gross that when we got home we had to clean it. We will never rent from them again at this location. read more

I booked a rental online for the same day without any issue. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told that "per upper management, we are not allowed to take any same day reservations". When I asked why I was allowed to book it online, he replied that reservations only does one thing, and that is take reservations. He told me if I could give him some time, he would try to find me a Vehicle. I asked how long, he said 30-minutes or so. Very poor management somewhere. I cancelled and got one from Hertz. Not everyone has the luxury of planning for a rental car ahead of time. If you look at the reply from Customer Seevice, the email they give is not complete, so there is now way to reach them. If you go to customer service "contact us" you have to go through all the typical hurdles most of these big companies have set up so you have to really try to get in touch with them. I am an Enterprise member (not sure why), so they have my contact info if they were really interested in talking. Why should I have to spend another 30-min trying to co tact them to let them know how screwed up the whole deal was. read more

Not impressed with the cleanliness of the vehicles. I feel like they try to give me the crapiest car because it's a fleet car paid by the corporation I work for. My first car I had 3 mo, a Toyota Corolla, then I had a Nissan Sentra, very comfortable and newer, but they took it back after a mo and gave me a Kona which needs a new alignment, was dirty on delivery and smells of cigarette smoke. Going to try to get a replacement tomorrow. Some of the staff are great and some seem indifferent. Times are tough and everyone is short. read more

I rent cars every week for business and unfortunately since the manager change at this location I had to switch back to National @ MCO. I don't expect an upgrade every visit, however an occasional "we appreciate you" was nice from prior management. The new manager let me know right out of the gate that those upgrade days were over... It is now 12/21. This store has had a month and a half to fix this mistake. I went in roughly two weeks ago and talked with the same manager I had spoken with before. He offered me a $250 refund on the $900 Enterprise has STOLEN from me. At this point I'm considering it theft. I've yet to receive a follow up phone call from the manager or his boss which I have requested a call back from and no refund. I'm now missing Christmas with my family because of this $900 screw up on Enterprise's part. The customer service line told me it's the store's fault and the store said they aren't authorized to do any refunds over $250 and that's company policy. Anywhere else, if it took a month and a half to solve a problem, someone would be fired. I've requested contact from corporate multiple times and heard nothing. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. Little hope for this being solved before New Year's right now. If you don't want to spend minimum of two months fighting to get money you shouldn't have been charged back, avoid enterprise at all cost. Walk! It's healthier! FINAL UPDATE: after two months of management doing nothing to fix the problem, I finally got someone from corporate. She was rude, dismissive, and pretty much told me to pound sand. After speaking with Ana from corporate, I can completely understand why managers can't do anything. This business is run so poorly I think I would trust a child's lemonade stand to rent cars better. Budget did a better job at problem solving. Ana has no business ever working in customer service and is definitely not management material. The managers at the store can't do anything and there's no sense of urgency at solving a problem. I would rather stop at the closest Walmart and raid the camping and outdoor section than deal with Enterprise ever again because it would be money better spent. Made an online reservation for a 12 day rental. The manager called a few hours before pick up and would not honor the rate I booked, he said it was a glitch in their system and the rate was too low, he felt I should have assumed something was wrong with the price. It was advertised as a "You click. We pick." special. Using his logic, every time I find an online deal, I should call the merchant to make sure the price was correct. I told him I was stuck because I cancelled my reservation with another company when I found this last minute special. He then said what he could do for me was, "corporate authorized him to offer me a rate of $49.99," which was hundreds of dollars more than the price I had booked. Classic bait-and-switch. I pointed out the rate he gave was $15 more a day than the next best online price I could see at that moment thru Hertz and Budget, and then he had the nerve to say "I hate to send you to a competitor but we don't price match." I did not need a price match, I needed him to do the right thing and honor the price I legally made the reservation for. I needed help because I needed a vehicle, so I immediately attempted to contact the corporate office via email and also spoke with a customer service representative that took a message, and no one ever contacted me back. Roughly 10 days later after hearing nothing from the messages I left, I submitted an online review on Google Maps which received a response from customer care. I sent them the info they requested and 4 days later received an email that the regional management team would contact me. A few hours later the Assistant Manager of the rental location (that would not honor the reservation) called me. If they weren't willing to honor the initial reservation, why waste my time having the same people call me? I wasted time and money because they left me hanging without a ride and I had to make other arrangement for those days. Their concern wasn't for the customer, they only feigned concern when they didn't like the online review they received, which was evident when they had the assistant manager reach out. Sad way to do business and treat customers. EDIT: adding comment on reply from Enterprise, they don't even read what the actual issue was. It had zero to do with having the correct category of vehicle. The manager never said anything about vehicles, he just didn't want honor the rate. I had almost the same exact reply from them on another social media review and they did nothing. The customer care problem is clearly systemic and not isolated to the Clermont location. read more

Sup Yelpers... Have you rented a car from a local rental center recently? It's been a while for me. I say this because it's never been a great experience for me. However, that was not the case with the Enterprise location in Clermont, FL. Thumbs up for a five star red carpet royal customer service experience. I had the need to rent a car for the weekend and Enterprise offered the best rates with unlimited mileage, but my expectations were low at the time. My reservation was for an SUV. When I got there I quickly surveyed the lot to see what was available. I certainly didn't want a plain Jane Kia Sportage base model. A guy has standards you know. I spotted three vehicle that were up to par and I quickly mentally prepared myself for a debate/negotiation assuming I would be offered an entry level vehicle. To my surprise the gentleman that took care of us did not hesitate to offer us one of the luxury SUVs. He grabbed the keys, walked us to the car, performed a vehicle inspection with us, recorded the mileage, briefed us on the vehicles' accessories and we were on the road in less than 15 minutes. All the while he was completely engaging and friendly. When we returned the vehicle we received similar service from a different gentleman. Had a great experience with this branch. A car I rented with hand controls was not there when I went to pick it up at the reserved time and date. Rather than wait 2+ hours for it to get there, I had someone pick me up and the manager had someone deliver the car to me when it arrived at their office. Pleasure delivered the car with a wonderful personality. Couldn't do enough to make the situation as easy as possible. I will be needing to return to the area every few weeks and will definitely use this branch again. read more

We've always rented from Enterprise because they pick you up and drop you off. Evidently at the Clermont Florida location this is optional on their part. We called and spoke to them at this location directly and they still said no. 2 weeks ago when we called them, they said it was discontinued due to Covid. If this was the case, why aren't they wearing masks? When we dropped off the car on a Saturday, there were 4 guys and only 1 was busy. We were within 7 miles from their store. The customer service was ok when I got the car checked out , however when I dropped off the car the customer service that was given to me was horrible! I checked out my car when I gave the keys to the guy he was like ok , you owe 95.i can't remember the cents but when I went the first time to check out my car they told me it was gonna be $54.67 and a $200 deposit they never mentioned I was gonna get charged for idk what kind of protection so my total was 94.67 dollars at the end! The guy quickly said thanks we'll email you a receipt(which I never got), I asked him for a copy of my receipt after and he couldn't even explain what I got charged for correctly In conclusion bad place to rent cars. read more

They picked me up and got me a car when I needed it and that was cool. My car was in the shop and I didn't know when I would get my car back. My car was fixed by Saturday and I dropped the rental car off when my car was fixed and put the keys in the drop off box since they were closed Saturday and Sunday. I called first thing Monday to make sure everything was taken care of and that I wouldn't be charged for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. If you put keys in a dropbox, in front of their security camera after hours on Saturday they won't charge you right? When I called first thing Monday, I explained my situation, I was put on hold for ten minutes. Then hung up on. I called again and was put on hold again, then was told it was very busy and they would pass a note to the manager, that the manager would follow up with me. I waited all day and received no call from the manager. I called at 4:30PM and again repeated my situation. I was put on hold again. Third time I'm on hold in the same day. I drove from one side of town to the other during traffic and was no longer on hold after 20 minutes. The manager picked up and I repeated my situation a 4th time. They told me that I would be charged the weekend (at a reduced rate). Really? That was the first time I had heard this. What I assume was the manager did reduce the payment to the time I needed it, the guy that rented the car to me was very courteous and professional, the guy that picked me up was really nice too, the long drawn out process to speak to someone to actually do something about it was pretty ridiculous. After having to go through one of the most arduous 7 day car repairs, I had to make sure the rental company was taking care of me on top of that. read more

Great place to rent a car, and staff goes above and beyond. A few months back I rented a Sedan to take some family to South Florida. I picked it up Friday and parked in what I thought was an approved visitors parking space at my apartment complex. I came out the next morning and the rental had been towed! When I called the towing company, they said because it was a rental I had to get a "Hold Harmless" agreement (or something like that) from Enterprise Corporate, and fax it to them or they could not release the car. Well Enterprise Corporate is closed on weekends, so I was not a happy camper thinking I was going to have to pay 3 days car storage fees to towing company. I went to the Clermont Enterprise Office where I rented the sedan and spoke with Cheryl, the Manager. Cheryl not only empathized with my current frustrations regarding the towing company, and the uncooperative apartment complex, but she contacted the towing company herself and worked out a solution that would allow me to get the car back and be on my way. I still had to pay the towing and storage costs, but I did not have to wait until Monday to get the car back, thanks to Cheryl's quick and creative problem solving. I have rented from this location many times, and the cars are always in good shape, staff courteous and timely. Never a problem and I highly recommend Enterprise Car Rental Clermont. read more

Attempted to rent a car on June 22 from the location in Clermont Fl reservation was made for 3:00 PM for my pick up on arrival they meet me at front door everything seemed fine Initialed all the paperwork digitally and walk around car was done when agent realized that the spelling on my credit card was spelled different so they refused to rent me the car and Manager would not come out to talk to discuss the matter with me I then took an Uber To Avis were they more then happy to rent me a car , the big problem happened a few days later on the June 24 when when noticed that enterprise rental had charged my American Express for $353.27 for the rental of the car that was rented I'm concerned that the manager never came out to discuss matter with me or to try and help me in anyway but yet they charged my credit card read more

Terrible customer service... 5 minutes before they closed the door was locked. When I waited outside the door for the customer already in the store to come out the Branch Manager got in my face when I asked if I could pickup my rental car. I had a 12 o'clock appointment and because I showed up at 11:55am that was too close to their closing time and I could not get my car. Apparently having to work on Saturday was just to much of an inconvenience for him to allow a paying customer to rent a car. P.S. Why would Enterprise allow me to schedule a 12pm pickup time when they won't even stay open until 12pm? In closing, look elsewhere for your rental car, not worth the headache dealing with rude employees. I'm recommending entirely different rental companies after this horrible experience. read more

I often rent a car or SUV for my job. My place of employment will pay us for the miles that we drive in our own cars. Or rent us a car. I put enough miles on my own personal vehicles, so I prefer to rent a car if I'm traveling more than 100 miles. The Enterprise in Clermont, FL is located at a convenient spot for me. I go to the Enterprise web site, pick my car , put in my information and pick up the car, SUV, van or truck. What's not to like? You must remember to leave extra time, as this location is usually pretty busy. I've used their pick up and or drop off service in the past, but gave up on it. It's way to much of a hassle. Usually the driver is so busy making that service a hassle for me. That being said, it's still a convenient place to rent a vehicle. read more

These guys are simply put: AWESOME! We were in town for a few days and we rented a car from them. It was close to where my folks live in Minneola, and they are very professional through and through. We ended up getting there about 15 mins late on New Year's Eve after they closed, and the kind of business this is: They trust their customers. We hit some traffic so were running late returning from Disney. I have to say it was worry-free, hassle-free, and the employees are professional and nice. Amazing service from the nicest people I've encountered at a car rental business! Sheldon did a wonderful job of making sure all of the bases were covered without being a pushy salesman. I ended up upgrading my purchase a little from what I reserved because he explained all of my options politely and respectfully. When I phoned in afterwards with questions he helped out without a huff. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a hassle free rental experience with excellent service. The car was well taken care of too! Clean and relatively issue free. Only the USB quit working during my trip, but that is definitely not a requirement for complaint. read more

The vehicle I rented had low pressure in two of the four tires. The TPMS chimed as soon as I got in and turned the key. The person that cleaned the car either didn't notice or didn't care. I believe he didn't care because it chimed loud. read more

I rented a car recently since my car was in California and I was in Florida to check on my home and visit friends. The staff at Enterprise are very friendly and helpful! When I returned the car I accindently put my work key in the return box and came home with the rent a car keys! They worked with me so I could express the keys back and only charged me for an extra day car rental instead of re cutting a new key which would have been way more of an expensive. They rented a car to my brother in December 2014. Collections agency calls him in February 2015 and says he got a parking ticket. Being from up North, he thought maybe it was a sunpass issue. Unfortunately he paid it. Turns out Enterprise gave the Collections agency the wrong info. He recently found out the ticket was issued in July 2013. My brother was 100s of miles away. He calls 352-242-4424 to dispute and the manager was of no help. Now he has to battle to get reimbursed. I wouldn't rent here. That is too much B.S. to rent a car for a few days. read more

I was concerned when I picked up the rental car because it had just been washed and was still wet which made it harder for me to notice any defects and I'd heard of people getting scammed by rental car companies in that way. I was also concerned because I had to use my debit card and they took out an extra $200 security deposit because of this, in addition to requesting that I provide a paycheck stub or other proof of financial backing. My grandmother went with me and was also wary of these things and was being very vocal about it, if you get my drift. I give this place five stars because Ryan, the employee that we worked with, was very patient with my grandmother-- He's a beast soother I think, and because when I returned the car to a closed location on a Sunday I feared the worst so I took pictures of the car just in case. Well to sum this up, I just got my deposit back and they shredded the papers I forgot in the glove compartment before I even remembered to ask.
