My experience here was sub par . I made a reservation a week in advance and they tried to tell me they could give me another size vehicle because they didn't have the larger size I requested . They stated they can barely keep cars there due to location ( bad area ) because the cars get broken into and vandalized. I just recently rented another vehicle a jeep gladiator and returned it today on April 6th 2026. The jeep gladiator was a nice ride and was a 2026 giving me a experience and feel for the newer edition of gladiators as always my rental experience was great and the team is always very helpful fast check in smooth renting process fast return of deposit money and fast return in all the team at E Turkeyfoot Lake Rd in Akron gives you a experience that's fast and convenient. I had a GREAT! Rental from this place just six months ago, but it's really gone downhill. I just needed a car for the day to run some errands and got pressured big time into spending as much on the in-house insurance as the car, despite telling the manager that I have insurance that covers rentals. I was given a car with no navigational abilities. (No Bluetooth, usb, CarPlay, or even built in map capabilities). I told them that I needed something safe to drive and they asked why I couldn't just hold my phone and look at it while driving. They tried to upsell me into a vehicle that cost 150% of my original rental. I asked them to refund it and it took the guy at the counter 20 minutes to figure out how and he kept telling me that he'd take care of it later and I could trust him I'd eventually be refunded (not a good sign). We reserved a standard sized vehicle. When we got to the crime-ridden location (sirens blaring every 5 minutes), we were greeted with an ultimatum - a gigantic pickup truck or nothing at all. I tried to leave the lot in the behemoth, but I couldn't even see over the steering wheel. It also smelled of smoke and air freshener. I go back in to negotiate when suddenly, the manager tells his staff that he's treating them to the Beyonce and JayZ concert that night. All hell breaks loose. I couldn't get a word in to anyone while the young staff screamed and hollered, getting out their phones to call friends and share the news. We left that particular office and drove the F150 to another Enterprise, hoping they had a car available. The lackadaisical attitude of the staff gave us no hope. I called prior to our visit and spoke with the only female staff member in the office. When we showed up, she didn't seem to remember the conversation that occurred only 30min before. Another staff member suggested we call the airport location. I asked him to call for me. Grudgingly, he picked up the phone. When he hung up, he reported that the airport location was stuck with trucks, as well. He then explained that the nationwide fleet had been hit by a recent recall of all standard size vehicles. WHAT? Why didn't anyone notify us? We sat in the parking lot of the second location and called the corporate office. I demanded my money back, to no avail. The only thing offered was a complaint filing to the regional manager. That wasn't going to solve my immediate issue: it was too late to find other cars at a reasonable rate elsewhere and I was on a limited schedule needing to hit the road and drive 3 hours to Columbus. I didn't feel comfortable driving such a distance in a gigantic F150 nor did I want to deal with the gas bill that came along with it! When I got off the phone, I watched as the staff member that gave us the truck in the first Enterprise office walked into the door of this one. I knew it was a lost cause. I filed the complaint and quickly called the original office to speak with the manager. The manager asked that we return because he had a "smaller truck that we might be able to handle." Why wasn't that offered to us in the first place? Ultimately (2 hours later), we got a slightly smaller vehicle (a brand new Colorado) from the original location (Euclid Ave) and a significant discount for the few days we planned to rent. I got a message from the regional manager but he never answered the phone when I repeatedly tried to follow up. I will never do business with Enterprise, again. read more

However, when I picked my vehicle up and explained my concerns to the manager Anthony Grundy and he calmly listened and addressed every concern I had. Rented a car from the Cleveland OH location over the weekend. There was a misunderstanding at the time of pickup and I was charged for an upgrade vehicle and didn't realize it at the time. When I reviewed my invoice today saw the up-charge, called the 800 number spoke to a rep named Carlos who was so nice and professional, he adjusted my account without hesitation. I've used Enterprise whenever I've needed to rent a car for the past 10 years. Whenever I've travelled to Cleveland and used this location, it's always been extremely disorganized and the staff has been rude and unprofessional. The last time I had a reservation there (coming back for a funeral), I got so fed up that I just walked out and went to the Avis across the street. Even without a reservation, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and paid less than I would have at Enterprise. Sorry, Enterprise. You lost a loyal customer. read more

Ever walk into an establishment and wonder how the hell they stay in business? Exhibit A: Enterprise Rent a Car on E. Superior. This place is always a zoo. I don't care if you get there at 8am, 1pm, 3:24pm or 5pm there are ALWAYS people waiting in line. And how could I forget the stressed out counter staff. And then there are the people who just "hang around" in the waiting area. I guarantee you will hear at least one of the following statements while you are waiting in line with other members of Cleveland's finest: 1. "Um, I'm sorry sir but your credit card was declined." 2. "Who's driving the Ford Explorer? Can you please move it--you're blocking the entrance/exit of our parking lot." A case study in sociology was never this much fun. read more

Upon picking up the vehicle I was told there is an additional $75 charge for dropping off at the airport which was not included in the quote. The car fuel gauge read 1/3 upon starting the car. The rental agreement indicates just under a half a tank. The outside the car was dirty and the inside was greasy. read more

Me and my friend are stranded in Cleveland because his ID is expired and we can not get renewed due to COVID-19. However mine is not expired but all I have is my unemployment card in which they are not excepting even though there is a national pandemic going on. They also refuse to let us use my ID and his card. They do not want our money!!! read more

Although its convenient, Enterprise is in a really terrible location. Pick-up and drop-off are a mess. The lot is tiny and the place seems to be always busy, that leaves no where to park. I think the worst of all is the neighborhood. Let me suggest that you do all your business during the sunlight hours. Enterprise here also has a hard time holding a reservation. This place is really only getting a 2 star because of its convenience to work, other then that, go to a suburb / airport location for better service and more options. read more

At 12:15am there was NO ONE at either counter and had to wait in a long line with many others who had reservations too. Paid 2x as much for a compact in the end. Budget Rental across the street actually referred me to this location. I've used the Chagrin Rd Enterprise location and wasn't very impressed but I had a really good experience here. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. They didn't discriminate because I was using my MC debit card either. I made reservations this weekend 1/18-20 for a full size car. Requested a certain one, was told they cant guarantee that the car will be available. When i get there they dont have any full size cars, so i got a Ram 1500 2020 truck.. Customer service was horrible, so we get in the truck get on the highway and the driver side windsheild wiper went all the way off the truck, hanging while its storming. So my husband is leaning over on my side of the car trying to find somewhere to pull over and make this wiper work. When i call enterprise off Brook park in cleveland ohio, There response was if you take it to a Monroe, or firestone they can fix it for you and bill us for it. I said no i want another vehicle this truck is not safe for me and my family, he Josh says ok we have a silverado 2020 truck we can exchange it with, i said ok well be there. I called back to double confirm they will have the truck available because my day is already messed up for this inconveience, i speak to a Scott.. who was nasty and told me he couldnt garantee that there would be a truck there for us to exchange out in, i explained i just spoke with Josh who said he would hold it, his nasty self said " I dont know what to tell you", " we can't guarantee the truck will be here. I said fine, so we get there and we speak with Josh who says " Scott just rented out the truck about 15 mins ago" I said even though we just spoke with you about this, there was nothing else for them to exchange me out with!!! So my husband got his own tools and tightend up the arm of the windsheild wiper, so we could move on with my day!! When we did it kept messing up then the passenger side wind sheild wiper froze and would move in the storm so we were back where we started from... I have rented a car at this location twice and everytime, the cars are not safe, they are nasty on the inside like they have noone to clean them. Im paying high prices for garbage and no customer service at all. When i return the truck explain the situation to the manager at the location, he resolved it by taking 40 bucks off my retal price..LOL unbelieveable. I have no intention of ever renting back at this location with this company. I work for a company that rents cars 2 to 2 days a week from this location and they seem not be able to handle the load. Majority of the time the cars are not delivered on time and or don't even show up . This is a sad excuse on how to handle a company. Enterprise made the whole process of renting a car while having my car repaired after an accident very easy. They picked me up at the body shop in a timely manner, drove me to their office and gave me a choice of rental cars. The car was clean and dependable. When my own car's repairs took three weeks instead of the promised five days, Enterprise was very accommodating in extending the rental, hassle free. They also had an arrangement with the body shop which allowed me to leave the rental car at the body shop, so I did not have to return to the office after my own car repairs were completed. The staff at the downtown location were very nice, but this car was by far the filthiest I have ever rented, AND the tank was only1/4 full when I picked it up. To be fair, they offered me an upgrade from a Corolla to the Ultima I took. Even tho I only paid $1.50 a day for that, it actually cost me more because of the gas. I took it only because we had already waited for them to process us, and then had to have them clean the car because it was full of crumbs and spills, which they hadn't noticed!? Eleven with that cleaning, we were finding food garbage and other trash under the seats for days. This car was clearly not ready to rent. read more

Be very wary of using this Enterprise location. As other reviews said it is very busy and unorganized. I waited all day for my rental because it was down the street getting an oil change. When Cory finally got me into a different car 4 hours later, I declined the insurance as I know my own insurance covers rentals. I must have still signed for it because I was flustered and in a hurry. She was able to charge my credit card $250. I am disputing it but she must make a commission from the sale of insurance. She is extremely unethical and I will never rent from Enterprise again! Very little integrity!!! read more
