I receive nothing but the best service here. I have always been taken care of when I come to Enterprise and this location is no different. I had a reservation for a truck, but needed to swap it out due to rain and me needing to pick up an item and they were very accommodating. The SUV was a slight up charge but it didn't bother me. I only needed it for a few hours so I returned it before they closed. I could've kept it for the whole day because that's what you pay for but it wasn't necessary! I have been renting cars a few times a month for 3 years now to the date. This is the busiest Enterprise location in Columbia, but they have always been professional and accommodating. Darius was the manager for the majority of the 3 years I have been consistently renting from them. He was always pleasant, understanding of my needs, and made my trips to the location pleasant despite how busy and crowded they were. Now there is a new manager and team of staff, and they have also shown the same type of professionalism and accommodating spirit. I have witness them listen to customers and try to make their experience as stress less as possible, when dealing with insurance claims. I would never pick another location even with the wait time due to their heavy traffic. Went through the link to choose the type of vehicle to rent, entered all of my info, and received a pick up time. if I could give a negative rating, I would. Enterprise has completely gone downhill over the past several years, at least the Group 26 branches. A few weeks ago we had a reservation at noon. Arrived 20 minutes early only to find one employee actually working. Another employee was calling customers to verify reservations several days out despite 6-7 customers in line. Another employee came in and sat at the counter with ear buds in and a McDonald's bag and did nothing. Current-made a reservation this week for 9am today, 8/17. Employee calls me yesterday and says they have numerous reservations at 9 and wanted to offer a later reservation. I said this doesn't it work and I would see them in the morning and ended the call. i got there at 8:50am and 4th in line. I was refused a car and was told I had to wait 2.5 hours. Mind you, my reservation was made earlier in the week and someone who just made a reservation yesterday afternoon was told to wait 45 minutes. It is 2024. If you can't honor a time slot, your reservation system should block it. And your employees should not be spiteful. I will never rent from Enterprise again. This company and location is pathetic. read more

I was very please with the service received. Although I didn't show it, I was a bit in a rush. Darius jumped right up and took care of me the minute I entered the facility. He was very pleasant to talk. He was respectful and professional. Darius was able to upgrade my rental and get me into the vehicle within minutes. If I could give this place a 0 I would. I went to this place 3 different times to pick up a car that the insurance company reserved for me and each time they couldn't find a reservation. Each time I had to call the insurance company (wait on hold for 30-40 minutes) and put the insurance company on the phone with them just for them to say oh the reservation is right here and there are no cars available with a a attitude like it's my fault. My car is down so I thought of the Enterprise rental on TWO Notch road. I went on line and started a rental. Price looked good and I got a confirmation. I walked the two miles up there only to be told they don't have any cars and won't for several days. They could check if any other store had one but I would have to get there. Understand it is over 90 and the sun is blazing. Why did their system give me a confirmation when they don't have any cars? The guy at the counter basically said the system will let you reserve whether or not the site has cars. Is that a wonderful way to do business. They have lost me as a customer. read more

I had a very pleasant, easeful experience at this location during the days Hurricane Florence was making landfall. I really needed a car and was quite distressed for quite a few different reasons. The representatives on duty that day were all so calm, collected and professional and made every attempt to make my time spent in their office as stress free as possible. Renting a car can sometimes be a huge headache but I must say this was the best rental car experience I have ever had! I drove off the lot in a beautiful Nissan SUV and with a feeling that I'd made the right choice. That's customer service! Please keep it up. There were three gentleman on site that afternoon and I wish I could mention them all here because they all made my experience so pleasant but unfortunately I didn't get their names. Antonio Sales was the Assistant Manager who helped me from beginning to end. Out of concern, he reassured me that should there be any issues traveling in the storm, I need not feel any urgency to return the car on the day it was to be returned. His customer service was exceptional and I appreciate how willing he was to work with me. I will be sure to return to this location moving forward. I used to work for enterprise in another state and did not like the company! This branch however is run exactly the way the business model is supposed to be run! You will get excellent customer service, they will go out of their way to make sure you're completely satisfied, and they will make it as simple as possible. They don't try to hard sell the damage waiver, however I do recommend that you take it any time you rent a vehicle. This will prevent you from having to pay for your insurance deductible if somebody else damages your rental car, which happens in parking lots all of the time to rentals. Enterprise specializes in insurance replacement rentals (while your car is being repaired) but they have great weekend specials if you are looking to tool around or take a road trip. This branch has a lot of different makes and models. read more

I received a call from Matthew regarding my June 1, 2015 review of Enterprise. He began the phone call by saying that he was calling about my review on Yelp. He then stated that he "understand that you have a question". I stated that I did not have a question I simply placed a review on Yelp. I then stated that he didn't understand my review. he said it a couple of times. I asked what part of the review he misunderstood. after stuttering a bit, he responded, "it was a play-by-play. I've never seen a review done like that before." I asked him the purpose of his call. He indicated that Enterprise does not like to see negative reviews and he asked if there was anything he/enterprise could do to make up for my bad experience. I asked him, "what do you have in mind?" He said that he didn't know and he was calling me because corporate told him to call me. I suggest Enterprise do a better job of training management to manage customer complaints. read more

This location is awful. If you can avoid it - do. My last review - I received an email in which I replied with details of my experience, and no one ever replied after. I rented two additional vehicles and now I'm done. The vehicle I'm in now is dirty and has pet hair all over. I will state the good about this location: location is close to my home, and Laura has a great attitude, friendly, and accommodating. The negative: place has been busy each time I've come. They never seem prepared. I've found it's a waste of time to reserve a vehicle because they give you what ever is left and blame it on corporate account holders. This was my 2nd time using this Enterprise. Both times were good experiences. The first time I made a reservation was for a convertible online. The car it showed was a red Mustang, but I know sometimes they give you a car different from the one you see on the reservation. This time I got the red Mustang! The checkout/in process was easy. This most recent time, I needed an economy vehicle for a day. When I got there they offered a free upgrade to a Nissan Frontier. I told them I needed something smaller and Gavin was able to swap with another customer for a Chevy Cruze. Again, checking out the vehicle was super easy and was all done on a handheld device. Checking in this time was a bit of a hassle, but it was on a Sunday and it was extremely busy. One request I have is for them to have a line for people who are just turning in keys. Overall, I had a good experience and will rent from them again. Things will be easier for you if you make your reservation in advance and have a credit card. read more

We have been renting with this same enterprise for years and they have came under new management that has terrible service. We reserved a car and they refused to give us the SUV we reserved and offered us a 2 door sedan instead, when we respectfully declined they refuse to help us any further. The guy dealing with us was so rude and continued to argue with us that we didn't have a reservation and even after finding out he was wrong he still did nothing to help us. We were extremely disappointed at the level of service we experienced. We will not be returning to this branch. read more

I enjoy renting from Enterprise. My recommendation would be to offer a preferred card or some variation... I am a military member/family. We relocate often and will not have a local Driver LIcense for the state. I am not a fan of unnecessary debt so I do not own a credit card. I find this verification process tedious. I there was a card with all of our verified information inputed for verification it would make the process easier and faster to include insurance info. It happend to me twice and I am sure I will need a rental often in the coming months. I would like to know of a better way than to bring bills etc... to show I am a resident and you can find me to collect. Thank for the service you provide to many people. read more

I've only rented from Enterprise twice so far with the intention of making it a regular thing since I travel weekly. The standard car I recently rented on March 16, 2016 was nice, but the steering was very lite. After my 500 trip I had the tire pressure checked... over 100psi per tire!!! Thank goodness I didn't have a blow-out on the highway. So I reduced the psi in each tire to a more proper 35-40psi, at which point the tire pressure indicator illuminated. Ah! Perhaps this is why the tires were over inflated... because the Enterprise crew didn't know how to recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system? I recalibrate and the rest of my trip, plus the 500 mile return home, was a much, much better drive! Now, the reason I have to give a two-star rating... I made a reservation on March 21, 2016 for a standard car to pick up today; March 26, 2016. No cars available! What's the point of a reservation??!! Guess I'll go back to making these 1,000 mile weekly trips in my own vehicle and deduct the depreciation and maintenance expenses. MAY be more worth it than the hassle of renting from Enterprise. And I'd really hoped this would prove to be a good relationship. read more

Ridiculous service, over 1 hour LATE waiting on car pick up & still waiting.......tick-tock...... Driving to location now (since no one seems to answer phones these days) not even a courtesy call to let us know they wouldn't be arriving on time or not arriving at all. Confirmation was given for pick up, but was told they "must of forgotten to add to pick up list." Been a loyal costumer to include over seas locations, but apparently the Two Notch location needs courtesy & customer service training. The way you address the loyal costumer goes a long way. USAA rented car for me with this Enterprise while my car was being repaired from accident. They worked seamlessly with insurance carrier. I did nothing. The first two cars they offered me were a little rough and smelled like smoke, but they offered me brand new Ford Focus as alternative. Car was great, service was great. Even gave me ride back home to my driveway when I delivered car back to them at 6:30pm in evening! Nicest people in NE Columbia. All of them professional and courteous and respectful. Great crew. I drove all the way from Irmo, SC to downtown Columbia to rent a cargo van from Enterprise. When they ran my drivers license I was informed that they would not rent me a vehicle because of an outstanding balance from 2008. I was handed a printout of the "deliquent payment information" and and told to call the phone number printed on the form to make amends. The form also plainly stated that they were in the process of sending this deliquent account to collections. I talked with their accounting department where I was told that Enterprise FAILED to document an insurance payment they had received from my insurance company. Even though this was entirely Enterprise's fault, they refused to comp me anything for my trouble and expense. I called corporate and was told "why do we need to comp you"? Will never do business with this company again! read more

I was charged a over mileage fee and I didn't go over my limit that I had with my deal. The car was given to me pretty much empty. I did appreciate them picking me up and dropping me off. Not a bad place but some kinks need to be worked out to say he least. read more

I rented a car a couple of months ago went to drop the car off they weren'ts opened yet. So, I drop the keys in the drop box and left. This month I noticed on my bank statement I was charged for a extra day. I called and spoke to a manager and ask why was I charged for another day. He said the car was brought back a day later and I said no you guys were not open so I drop the keys in the drop box and it was cold outside. He basically tried to tell me that he knew the car was a day late. I had to convince this man that I brought the car back on time and he still didn't believe me! Needless to say he said he would take care of it and as of today to I have not received a refund! I went to the location had to speak with another manager explain the whole situation again and he sent out a email to who I don't even know? He said I should receive a check in about 10 days. If you rent a car from them do not use the drop box and I cant believe a a car sat in their parking lot for a day and a half before they realized it was there. If you are a novice at renting a vehicle..... BEWARE!!!! These people will spot you and take advantage of you!! I rented a cargo van to move an upholstered sectional. When I returned it, they claimed that I damaged the van from the inside, however, when I inspected it, there was no possible way that my padded, upholstered furniture could have caused this damage.... the dent that could be seen from the outside was directly behind a reinforced pillar... virtually IMPOSSIBLE that my sofa would cause this!!! They took $500 from me for my insurance deductible, all the time telling me that they would rather not take the money from me so they could keep me as a lifetime customer, but they just had to. SCAM! Look them up on Consumer Affairs.... 1 1/4 star rating with this kind of scam happening to many, many people. read more

Just had the worst experience at Enterprise! All the business we have given this company and services are worse each time. The store "supervisor " Antonio Sales lacks professionalism and is ridiculously rude. He was very aggressive and flippant with customers and his staff. A mix up with the reservation had him totally loose his composure. Stated we had a pick up time that we missed, which was a lie. The same line was used on another customer as well and she just walked out. I should have followed her lead. Instead I stayed and experienced the most childish behavior from someone placed in a position of authority that he clearly is not ready for. Mr. Sales stated they had limited vehicles available, he "suggested " we take our business elsewhere if we aren't satisfied with what he had to offer without any opportunity for us to make a decision. When I called him out he wanted to argue, get loud, and stated we wouldn't get a vehicle there, because he runs this store, so it's his decision. Well dear sir continue to run it right into the ground. His staff attempted to assist him and he yelled at the young lady and dismissed a group of them... "Yall can just go!" Next thing I noticed is they all cleared out. I asked to speak to his supervisor, which he agreed to provide the number, only to make we wait after another customer walked in. He was short and combative with anyone he spoke with while I was there. It is truly sad if this is the norm. This location needs to provide professional development and customer service training. Especially this is not the first time experiencing such a lack of professionalism. I offer zero stars and Happily walk away from wasting my dollars at this location. Avoid if possible. Had to rent due to my car being worked on. They were of course busy but they were friendly and nice. They actually rented out a car to that had expired tags really. How do you do this do they not keep up with this. Of course I'm the one that happen to see the out of date tag after driving around for 2 days. They called me to see if I was going to need it for a few more days before I could even call them and this is when I told the guy they gave me a car with out of date tags. He proceeds to tell me no it can't be I just looked at it wrong. I insisted he check and of course it was expired. I was told to take it to the nearest dealer and let them know what happen and they would switch it out no Big deal right, wrong. Got to another dealer closest to my work and they act as if I'm to drive all the way back to where I got it and get new tag. I was even told they had no car for me that they had to take care of their customers first. After much debate they tell me I'm going to have to wait over 30 minutes for the other company to bring me a car. They claimed they told me that they checked with 2 dealers closest to where I live ummmm no you didn't I was told just to go to the closest location and secondly I'm at work so those were totally out of my way. Anyway does the computer not have a red flag when a car tag expired? Do you not check them? Thats a pretty big deal I would think. Really? I just took time from my job to fix a mistake that their company made that I could have got pulled and in trouble for. They finally compromised with each other and I was able to get back to work. Really?'Is this the way it works? Your company makes a mistake and it's my problem don't think so. I'm the one that had to interrupt my job to fix something that should have never happen.
