Terrible customer service. Person at front desk Jonathan was rude and indirect. When I advised him that my vehicle needed an oil change, he said it was a sensor issue. I had to drive the car to work but after I got off I went back and requested oil change paperwork, he retracted earlier statement and asked ME to take the car for an oil change. If I didn't need the car I never wouldn't have considered it, but yeah. They don't service their vehicles apparently and ask customers to do it for them! 0/5 stars. Please go elsewhere. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They have the worst attitude. Worst customer service. And you shouldn't have to ask for paper work constantly or to make sure they have the info you need. And then they get snarky with you for not properly doing their job. A manager needs to be on site in my opinion. And Jonathon who sits up front doesn't give you direct answers. They don't do a proper walk through with you. The car was dirty and I gave it back on better condition than it was given to me. And they just give you a balance due that they decide upon. They may be cheap in the beginning but when you return the car you have a random new charge. And they discuss NOTHING with you which is my biggest complaint... so in my opinion Enterprise is definitely the way to go if you want great service and to truly know what you're paying for and no hidden surprises or fees. read more

I do not recommend this location for a host of reasons. Mainly they are rude and unprofessional as well. They are a franchise location and not a corporate location so there are a lot of issues with them and getting certain benefits if you are President Circle member. They also add charges on your account that you have to dispute with corporate in order to have removed. read more

HORRIBLE. Worst experience ever. I rented a vehicle from them after i was hit on the freeway. (Insurance company set up the rental) The first vehicle they gave me was a dodge charger. The plates and registration that were in vehicle belonged to a JEEP!!! I called the office next morning. the manager told me to stop up there. I did, he couldn't even get in his computer. You could tell he was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He had me come back later. Drove back there that af. He gave me a different charger. Today, i had to go back there to sign new contract because i have my own coverage and didn't need theres. He took the keys and wouldn't give me a car. The vehicle is paid u til end of the week. He locked the car I brought there with all my personal belongings in and locked the door to go inside hertz. I had to call an uber to get home. read more

All i can say is run! One of the worst experiences I've ever had in dealings with a car rental company. The employees weren't polite or courteous, while giving very little to no details on how to proceed with their rentals. Would not recommend...unless a new staff is presented! read more

First off Darnell and Thomas are very rude and are not the brightest. Thomas the manager smelt like a bar, you could tell he was intoxicated, highly confrontational, wouldn't let me speak or ask questions, threatening to charge me more for trying to clarify the situation, charged me more than what was already agreed on an changed a signed contract without the signee's permission. This is really the worst rental place, with even worse employees. This is a fraud business. read more

I got a Hertz rental through my insurance company due to a hit and run i had been a part of the rental process was excruciating and slow and they never appeared to have cars available despite having a lot full of cars at all times. I'm a big dude when they finally got around to giving me a car they gave me the smallest tiniest most compact car they had. I drove the car from one parking space to another without even leaving the parking lot and went in trying to get another car and they said it was the only one available again while having a full lot at their disposal. The car i drove was a 4 door sedan they gave me a tiny hatchback when i complained about the size new cars magically became available at the cost of a 90$ upgrade fee. Not willing to pay that i made due with the hatchback while driving they called to inform me that i could keep the car out longer as long as i paid the approved insurance rate. I thought to myself that is an amazing deal seeing has how i was still waiting on the insurance settlement to come wells days later they called me telling me i needed to bring the car they told me i could keep back. Now beyond frustrated I return the car back and am hit with a fee which I expected what I did not expect however was that the company attempted to charge my card several times without my permission while i did not have funds in that particular account. Then afterward telling me the payment was declined after i transferred the needed funds to said account. So on behalf of a issue with their system not being able to charge my card which has funds for the amount needed in it despite me offering pay them from my other card told me that they could only take the specific card on file which i didnt have at the moment they then decided to report me to their bad debt department and run this through my credit despite me visibly waving money in front of them saying please stop I'm trying to pay this off. This is the single worse business experience i have ever had in my life and would never ever ever ever recommend anyone to ever use Hertz particularly this one ever this was an abysmal experience and if this negatively impacts my credit score one that i will be soon going to court for never in my life have i seen a company make an customer take responsibility for the fault in their system TLDR: They tried to play me on the rental by not having any cars available gave me a car far to small then when i tried to exchange it they tried to up sell me despite "having no cars available. Then when it came time for me to return the car their system couldn't run my card and they decided to charge it to their bad debt department and run it against my credit despite me attempting to pay them through other means. read more

I will NEVER use Hertz again. When I dropped the vehicle off they said all I needed to do was hand them the keys. Then they charged me a $75 cleaning fee. There is nothing in my contract for the vehicle being returned cleaned and vacuumed. In fact, it was dirty when I picked it up. There was nothing stating no pets. My dog stayed in the front floorboard on a blanket because she is terrified of car rides. I called customer service and no help was given. Return locations word against mine. So I was charged $75 to vacuum some dog hair. I would have vacuumed it myself for .75 cents. read more

I was late to pick up my car but the staff was awesome. Polite and ready to help. I made reservations with a competitor and the morning of they called to let me know they did not have a car for me. Not cool. With Hertz although I was late they made me feel important and gave me an upgrade for being late. Who does that? Great experience. I had car trouble and needed to get to work. I rented a car online and took a $15 uber to get to the location and when I arrive the ladies there inform me they have no vehicles but some should be back in a few hours. I was floored by this and angry but had to get where I was going so called another uber. $40 later (now $55 in uber) and I'm where I need to be. I call their 800 number later and the person on the other end apologizes yet there is nothing they can do. I am given an email address to corporate, nobody to speak to. I'm done, this people will never get a cent from me again! read more

Got a Hertz car rental through the body shop that was repairing my car after an accident. I had the rental 15 days and used only a quarter tank of gas. I assumed the insurance company would pay for the gas along with rental costs as the accident wasn't my fault. After returning the rental to the body shop once my car was ready, 6 days later there's a $54.10 charge on my bank account for Hertz. I called to inquire why & was told they charged me $9.00 PER GALLON to replace the gas. After I explained why I didn't replace the gas he said insurance won't cover gas. In that case I can understand charging me to replace the gas used but charging their customer $9.00 a gallon is price GOUGING! Even though due to an honest mistake on my part he said there was nothing he could do and the charges will not be adjusted. How can a company do that to a customer! So customers beware of this before using Hertz Car Rentals. I will never use them again after this price gouging abuse. read more
