I had 2 separate reservations with them in Destin and when we got to the 14071 Emerald BLVD, they had NO cars and really didn't give a shit! So I contacted the 800 customer service number and got the run around from them including when I was transferred to a regional manager who transferred me back to a local office. Horrible service if you can even get any. Don't count on your vehicles even being available if you find that anyone even works here. We made reservation by phone to "hold the vehicle" then showed up less than an hour later. Once I arrived in the office there were two people chopping it up about Thanksgiving meal plans for ten minutes (maybe more but certainly not less) before looking up and saying, "oh, we're just service agents, we can't help you. Someone will be with you shortly." Service agents, huh. A free minutes later a girl walks in with two customers and says there are no cars available today. I explained that I had just reserved a car and was here to pick it up only to hear, "Oh they can't see our availability." WTF. Why is there an online and phone booking system if nobody but the local office knows what's available. AND, if only the local location knows what's available then why can you not call the local office. Every local number forwards to the national office and if you select to connect to the local office the phone hangs up on you. How are these people still in business? read more

Scheduled to be picked up at 9 am Monday from the shop. There was nobody there to pick me up and when I called to ask what had happened they said they couldn't find the record for the rental. After pressuring them and causing a fuss they found the record and said ok they would have someone out in an additional 30 minutes. read more

I rented from the Duluth Georgia location and drove to Destin. I realized once I was here that the car I rented had an expired license plate so I called the Georgia location and I was told to contact the closest office and ask for an exchange. I tried calling the Destin office several times and my calls kept being placed on hold with no one ever actually picking up to speak with me. So I drove to the office at the advice of the coorporate representative that I also called with my situation. I waited 20 minutes to be seen by the manager Desiree. The entire time the phones were ringing non stop and there were five employees standing around and ignoring the phones. When I finally got to speak with Desiree she told me she doesn't have any cars and she would call me that afternoon to let me know when one came in at 2-3pm. I gave her my information and I was the one that had to call her at 4pm. First I was delighted that someone actually answers the phone but Iwas told that she had employees getting more cars from the airport and would call me back when they got back. I never heard back. So I contacted corporate offices at around 8:00 pm through social media. There I was told that the regional manager had been contacted and the situation would be fixed by tomorrow. It has now been about 30 hours since I notified Enterprise that I needed an exchange and not one single person has been able to help me and I'm driving around with an expired tag on my family vacation. Thanks Enterprise for making my vacation soooo relaxing by renting me a car with expired tags!!!! So...when I do get a ticket for this I'll be glad to post that picture and updated review. Update: it took 2.5 days to sort out my issue and many phone calls. They won't even let me talk to a regional manager. Enterprise had triple A bring me a van from the eglin location to exchange and it reeks of mold/mildew. That is what I got for all my efforts...a moldy vehicle. There is a reason that this location has such bad ratings. All of the below ratings that reflect as to why are true. We rented a car on a Saturday from the Pensacola airport. It had an alignment issue so we needed to return it to this location. Since we had family down we decided to wait and pick up another car today, Friday. I had the unfortunate circumstance to work with Olivia and from start to finish she was the most unpleasant and unprofessional person I've ever worked with at any Enterprise. Her lack of customer service skills for an assistant manager was surprising, I don't think I saw her smile at anyone once. When we returned the car, she took my information and said she would create a reservation and not to worry about it, that was on a Monday. I asked again, was she sure I didn't need to wait and she said no. Come Friday morning there was still no reservation. We called 3 times on Thursday and 4-5 times on Friday morning with no response and 15 minute hold time intervals. Additionally, I called and placed a formal complaint with Enterprise and, surprise surprise, there was no follow up on it from this location. After my family had to call in intervals, we finally got through and received a confirmation number. When we got there, things progressed downhill. They wanted to charge us over $300 for a one day rental and one way fee. Avis is only charging us $147 and has had impeccable customer service. The branch manager that appeared out of nowhere had no idea what the situation was so it makes me wonder what happened to our escalated call. Either way, we walked out and will not be utilizing this location ever again and will advise all friends, family, and co-workers that vacation in the area to stay far away. Beware before going through this location! Call Avis or another avenue first and save yourself some stress on your vacation! read more

My experience at Enterprise was excellent. I had no issues booking a vehicle or arranging for a pick-up. Judy picked me up and was timely and very pleasant! Victoria handled my rental and was friendly and professional. I was able to upgrade my vehicle, add a second driver, and complete all requisite paperwork in less than 10 minutes. I had a few issues when dropping off the vehicle, as I dropped it off after hours. I called in the morning and everything was resolved quickly and graciously. I would definitely rent from this location again. read more

The worst experience with the rental companies I've ever experienced. I was tried to make reservation on the phone for a pickup truck, they told me they have it and gave me the price for the time I needed $208. So I came to the office to see if the truck is big enough for my needs, the lady came out and showed me the car, put in the mileage and the gas, and before giving me the keys gave me the price almost $450, so I refused to take it and asked to talk with the manager. The manager told me I'm sorry we tried to help you and you refused, so the car is no more available for you. I and so I lost about an hour and the car. Avoid this location if possible. read more

Recently over the past few months I have to use rent apprise services while waiting for my car to be out of the shop. I never complain about price I never complain about the inconsistent charging that they did to my account. All they wanted me to do was to come in once a month so they could check the vehicle which I did accordingly. But last Friday as I brought the vehicle in for the monthly check they told me I was no longer able to rent the vehicle. They claimed that I did not respond to them when they reached out (which they never did ) and claim my credit card declined. They have over $3000 of my money for their services for two months rental. I am a single woman and felt they discriminated upon me because there was no indication that I did not stick to the terms. If I were a customer deciding on who to rent my next vehicle I would appreciate knowing that enterprise is absolutely the most unethical business to do business with. Buyer beware read more

Reserved a car for Christmas Holiday about a month ago. Adjusted my reservation for a luxary car by one day earlier on December 8th with a planned pick up at 3 p.m. today. All they had was a pickup truck to offer me. They claimed that they were waiting for luxary cars yet to come in and I would have to drive over 50 miles round trip again to come and pick it up (if they got one in) at 5:30. I cancelled my reservation. No customer service skills! No apologies, no offer of upgrading the vehicle, nothing. So much for the reservation. Don't bother! read more

I traveled with my husband to Destin, FA last week and reserved a rental car for the dates of July 15th the 18th. I called the office that morning to arrange for Enterprise to pick us up from the resort that we were staying at since I did not see that as an option on the website. I could not reach anyone after calling 6 different times so I took an Uber to get to the office at 10:30, the scheduled time of pick up. When we got there, we were informed that the office did not have any cars and that there were 8 people in front of us even if one did come in. There was no apology or any acknowledgment that Enterprise cared even a little bit. The woman "helping" us said she did not expect for us to be able to get a car and that it was pointless waiting. She said that it happened all the time and it was normal practice for them to double book just like airlines do. I want you to know that my husband and I had planned a fun day of visiting all of the places where my husband had lived growing up and were not able to do that. Instead, we wasted a half of day out of a 3 day vacation waiting for the 10:30 pick up time to arrive and then another 30 minute, $20 Uber ride there and another 30 minute, $20 Uber ride back to the hotel. Not to mention the 30 minutes sitting in the office trying to figure out what to do. I called the main Enterprise number to see if they could help. The woman on the phone said she could give me a number to call and file a complaint and someone would be in touch with me in 24 to 48 hours later. I was not sure how that was helpful at all. The thing that is so unbelievable about this is that it even said on my confirmation, "Your Enterprise reservation is confirmed! No need to call to reconfirm. " This was one of the worst customer service experiences that I have had and really put a damper on my vacation. read more

I joined the Enterprise experience on line. I was able to book a vehicle at 4 am and pick it up at 7:30 in the morning. Victoria was punctual, pleasant and efficient. With my promotional offer, She put me in an upgraded new model vehicle and explained all the options for insurance. We looked over the vehicle, did an onsite signature and off I went. When I needed to keep the car for an extra day after a weeks rental, I was glad they already had the deposit. I just called a few days early to find out if it was still available. When I turned it in, there were no issues and the remainder of deposit was credited back to my card. My husband dropped me off and and picked me up. If I need the service again it is good to know they may also transport me! read more

After reading the reviews on here, I was very skeptical when I decided to rent from this location. I made reservations a few weeks ahead, and on the day I had to pickup the car--Hurricane Michael was predicated to make landfall in FL panhandle. Enterprise called me on the Monday and said their office will be closed on Wednesday and asked if I wanted to come in and pickup the rental before the storm or schedule after. I got the vehicle after the storm and the staff at the store was very friendly and accommodating. I few days later, I had to extend my rental and also did not like the vehicle (preference) I was using. The manager upgraded me to another vehicle and ensured I was satisfied. I am not sure if this is the same staff as before the other negative comments but I have to say this current staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. Reserved a Mini Van online with a confirmation number in hand from the Enterprise website. When I went to pick up the van with my wife and 3 small children in tow. All they would give me is a pick-up truck. Enterprise reservations and confirmations are worthless at Destin Fl location. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend this location under any circumstances. You can reserve but can't depend on a reservation or confirmation number to get a vehicle. read more
