Once you're done with the Rental desk, the shared parking lot is a short walk and you'll be in your rental car in no time. I don't know who controls the inventories, but I was put in literally a brand new Toyota Sienna XLE Minivan with 20 miles on it. it was a great ride, i've never rented a cat and got a brand new car! Returning the rental was a bit odd, they weirdly don't have trash cans at the return area and stated just to keep the trash in the car. bizarre.

We had no issues with it at all. It was comfortable. The only issue, something we hadn't noticed before we left, was the seats were worn in the back. We were a little concerned we would be blamed for it, but fortunately, that didn't happen. We purchased our fuel through Budget in advance - the gas prices near the airport were very high so I'm glad we did. We used about 3/4 of the tank so it saved us some money. Aside from the minor wear, it was a good experience. We'd rent from Budget if we go to Destin again.

Although I'm concerned what would happen if a flight arrives late, because they close at 11 PM and I almost was changed to a flight arriving at 10:56 PM.

When bring the car back we had a long line for it to check in. He said put the keys on the dash and check it in when he can. So hours later he checked it in and so we get charged late fees. Got on a chat right away when I saw the bill and they said nothing they could do a manager will have to call you. It is now Thursday and no call. But my card is charged. This is one of those that does not have a staffed return aisle, so you park, get your gas/mileage, return the keys at the counter, and go. Note: There is NO gas station nearby.
