I tried 4 times to go in there to get a vehicle because I had an insurance claim from usaa and pay for a rental car. two of them were appointments. they never had a vehicle once. so basically Iv been paying for rental insurance for no reason. everyone in there just looks at you with a stupid look on their face when they say " there's nothing we can do" iv missed a day of work and left early twice for this and they cant do a thing. read more

Enterprise group (including Alamo) price gouged a group of veterans we sent on a trip to Fargo. They charged THREE TIMES the going price for two pickup trucks. The original company founder, Jack Taylor was a veteran and the company motto, "Take care of our customers and employees first...." is certainly lost on the management of Enterprise and the now CEO ad granddaughter of the founder, Chrissy Taylor. They will not even address our complaint! Stay away from these rental car companies! read more

We reserved our car a month ago, and the manager himself called me the day before to confirm, I confirmed and let him know we would be coming in later than our original reservation due to booking the car before the flights and we wouldn't be getting in until the middle of the night. When we called the next morning we were told our reservation had been given away due to us not showing up at the original reservation time of 7:30am and that maybe they can get us in something later in the afternoon. We had to scramble to find a car and ended paying almost double for a last minute reservation with another rental place. Do not recommend! read more

I rented a vehicle in Fargo ND at the end of May. I have been renting for close to 10 years and never had a problem. I traveled to Nebraska and unfortunately while checking out of my motel I accidentally locked the keys in the trunk. To make a long story short this happened at 9:30 AM. Despite communication and assurances that they would come out to tow the vehicle and provide a new one. I en up staying at the motel until Monday morning. The car was towed away with all my belongings around 11:00 that night. I communicated with many people regarding this matter and unfortunately for some reason close to 3 months later all of my belongings are still missing and regardless of whom I contact I get nothing. Unfortunately it's consider the price of an attorney or take a compl loss on all my personal property. Very dis and just wanted to share just in case this is a pattern of abuse. Thank you read more

Horrible service !And the car was dirty and nasty and kept saying service! I called and talked to one of the employees they basically said tough luck we have no other of cars available which was bs as I drove by and there were plenty of cars on the lot. The car also smelled of smoke! They also tried charging me for miles as when booked it said unlimited. Never again will I rent from them! Worst car rental experience for several years - do a lot of traveling for work. Picked this place as wanted to do a one way to Bismarck and was best price. However they won't pick you up from the airport (even though the airport location didn't do the one way I needed) the guy at the counter was pushing hard to get me to buy their insurance - even pushed to see my company's proof if insurance - weird. The worst part is that left soaking wet foot mats in the car - I put my $300 leather bag on it and soaked right through - plus the interior stank after a few days as you would imagine. I have left a few calls with the manager but yet to talk to him - this really damages their brand will go with hertz next time if I can. read more

I have long preferred Enterprise when I need to rent a car. This was my first visit to Fargo. I goofed and rented a car from a location away from the airport rather than at the airport. The benefit was that I saved money by doing this. The downside was that I had to take a cab to and from to honor Enterprises laws of business with the airport, but it wasn't too expensive. The people at the West Main location were professional and super nice. Everyone seems super nice in Fargo! I got some great restaurant recommendations during the transaction, too! read more

Be careful of hidden charges and incorrect information. When I picked up the car, I was told my credit card would show a charge for a deposit which will be credited when I returned the car. I returned the car in the original condition with a full tank. Two days later, the charge is still on my card. When I called to question it, I was told the original information I was given was incorrect and the charge is for taxes and will not be removed. read more

Customer service is superb. I have routinely rented cars from the Enterprise main location for nearly 2 years. It has been fun to see how Enterprise has evolved over the years. The staff, and I mean all of the staff do a fantastic job each time I have rented. In all of at least 40 rentals I have never had a bad experience. We like to rent from Enterprise because we have never had a problem with them. We had a great experience this last time too. They were busy as usual but we got in and got our car and were on the road very quickly. I like how they inspect the car before we take it each time, other places don't do that and you never know if you will catch the blame if there is a scratch previously. I had a mixed experience with this Enterprise location; I primarily use Hertz, but in this case I needed a full-size pick-up truck, and Enterprise was the only place in town explicitly offering one on their website (others might have also been willing to accommodate). The staff were very cordial and professional, but when I called, the only person on the clock was the intern. He was very capable, but I felt bad for him and was put on a moderate-length hold while he helped a customer at the counter. I was definitely treated like a valued customer as I was happily accommodated for, and the rental rate was very reasonable, but the rental vehicle itself was disappointing. Every time I rent from a company other than Hertz, I'm reminded that "there's Hertz and there's 'not exactly'" (but you do PAY for them accordingly). The pick-up truck's windshield had a giant horizontal crack that stretched nearly its entire width, and was just below my eye-level! I was shocked by this, because I'm certain that it would have earned a citation from the police if they had noticed it. The windshield also sported numerous rock chips, including one spider-webbed one the size of a plum. It had over 56,000 miles on it, damage to the body, and was filthy inside (mostly in the back seating area and under the front seats). The fuel level was also only at 3/4 full, so I had the added challenge of filling it to that point for the return. With Hertz, the tank is always full and the interior thoroughly detailed. Ultimately, Enterprise succeeded in helping me get where I needed to go and do what I needed to do without much trouble, so I rated them accordingly. read more

Always understaffed. Insist on chit chatting with every customer regardless of how many people are standing around waiting. Count on taking an hour getting in and out. I have rented a hundred times from this location for work. I am now going to get that changed. Enterprise everywhere else is great. read more

I have rented from this location twice in the past two months, and both were great. Everyone was professional and accommodating. Both vehicles were in good condition and ran well. Nothing of any great concern, except on my last one: the representative was over zealous on looking for scratches on the outside of the vehicle, but never checked the inside. Then, like Martin, the representative was quite put off because I wouldn't buy insurance ~ even though I'm sure the price stated was wrong because it would have been more than the cost of the four-day rental ~ and I have coverage for rentals through my personal insurance, so why should I pay extra ~ the rep was a little snarky/snappy insisting that I give the name of the company, my deductibles, agent name, etc. If that little situation wouldn't have happened, it would have been a perfect score. I am still very pleased with the overall experiences and definitely plan to rent from them again. read more

This location has continually gone the extra mile for me to have a great experience. I have rented over 50 cars over the past six years and they accommodated every reasonable request I've made. This last trip, they even waited while I researched on my phone which had more cargo space, Traverse vs Tahoe (Traverse has 8 cubic feet more space). Enterprise in Fargo did a phenomenal job with us when we had vehicle problems near Fargo on the way back to Bismarck. They bent over backwards to arrange for an SUV for us on short notice, and we're very flexible when our one week reservation was changed to one day after the shop was able to fix our truck much quicker than expected. The SUV was clean and in great condition, and their check in and check out process was friendly and quick. read more
