Enterprise on gallatin + their staff were a godsend after another driver hit me recently. When I was dealing with frustrating insurance red tape, they made company policies clear and understandable to me while extending human care and warmth. Mostly I am grateful for the help of one employee who was working morning Aug 21, a taller man with reddish hair. Because of his professionalism and patient assistance with a difficult situation I will never rent from another branch or location, I hope he gets a raise soon he deserves it! As I was leaving the collision place received a call from Enterprise, very friendly and helpful...arranged to pick me up that morning after I dropped off my car. Macy was super friendly in fact, the entire staff was friendly. Apologized for having to wait while my car was cleaned and called later in the day to check in with me to make sure everything was okay with the car. Reserved a minivan 3 weeks in advance & call the day of to make sure they had the reservation still & told the minivan was not available but a small suv was that had 3 rows. It's not just about hauling people but also the luggage. 2 times this has happened at this location. Other locations I have not had this issue with. read more

This is the only car rental location in Gallatin and the lack of competition shows. The staff are always friendly but they are frequently overwhelmed and unable to adequately service clients. I've rented vehicles here repeatedly and it's almost always the same story; not enough people to handle the business in a timely fashion. My most recent visit was typical; I arrived at my scheduled time and waited 45 minutes for a car. The gal who eventually handed me the keys to the car apologized and gave me a modest gas credit on the car, but frankly, I'd rather just have the car ready when agreed. On a previous visit, I arrived to find that the car I reserved was not available. In my experiences at other locations, and with competitors, this is instantly solved with a free upgrade. That's the sensible thing to do, right? Not here. They offered me a Tahoe at an outrageous rate, which I declined, or they offered me a downgrade at the normal (for that model) price. If I'd wanted the smaller car, I would have reserved it. Why can they do this? Because you have to drive to Hendersonville to find a competitor. Each car I've rented has been in great shape. The staff are friendly. The location is great, but eventually there will be competition in this fast-growing suburb of Nashville and Enterprise will have to step up. read more

Where should I start...Lets see...First off let me compliment the staff at the Gallatin Enterprise location. They were very courteous and professional. However, they were understaffed causing an extremely long wait time for service. Just to be clear, all issues I have with Enterprise originates within the main corporate machine and not at the local branch were the nightmare was exposed. I rented a car from the airport facility upon return from our family vacation. I kept the car for three days while my vehicle was in the shop for repairs. The reason I chose Enterprise was because a local office was located within walking distance from the garage that was repairing my car. I assumed that I could pickup at the airport and return at the local Gallatin branch, however, with Enterprise, that is not how it works. Over the course of five hours I attempted to contact a customer service representative to assist me in my rental return. I either got hung up on by the automated system or was transferred by a customer service rep to an automated system that would keep me on hold for a period of time and finally hang up on me. I then sent a message requesting help via the company's web site and have received not response. With my frustration at its maximum capacity, I have finally given up and will have to return this vehicle to the air port facility and pay an extra two days for the car over the weekend. I should also note that this three day rental originating at the Nashville airport will be more expensive than the 14 day rental I had separately from the Gallatin branch at the beginning of this month. I still cant figure that one out... In conclusion, I would walk uphill, barefoot on a crushed glass road before I accepted a free ride from enterprise. I can not stress how frustrated I am with the situation and I advise everyone to avoid this company and its services. read more

We have rented cars/vans from this facility for several years, specifically for long trips. Never had a bad experience. Recently, my car was clobbered, while parked, and her insurance paid my rental car. Enterprise did not have a Premium car available, and upgraded me to a Luxury for the entire rental period (7 weeks). Upon returning the car, I was greeted at the door with a hello of my name. Excellent service, good, clean cars, mostly new. Would highly recommend this facility. Not a whole lot of parking, however a very clean facility. They are wiling to work with you on your specific needs with what inventory they have available. read more

I've rented a car twice within the past 60 days. There is another car rental place in Gallatin at Jenkin's Auto repair and sales (Vic Jenkins). I wouldn't take my car anywhere else but there for body work. But.... their selection of rentals was not as big as Enterprise and they gave me an upgrade. After a week I was still going to need one but went to Enterprise because I knew I was putting Jenkins in a bind having one of their Impalas when while my State Farm Insurance pays for a smaller car. Enterprise came out and picked me up and had only one available, a Kia Soul. Had never been in a Kia and thought....oh boy, have not heard anything good about Kias. It was great! Not a Buick like I drive, but had all the bells and whistles my car had + a few others. With my bad luck, to miss a deer as I turned into my driveway, hit the thing that keeps cars from running into the ditch. Back to Jenkins and back to Enterprise. They had a car that had just come in, a 2018 Toyota Corolla. NICE. Smaller than I like but all the bells and whistles and GOOD gas mileage. Friday night I came home and Saturday I can't find the keys. Haven't been out of the house since. Have looked for 2 and a half days. Called Enterprise today. They're coming to tow their car and bring me another. Whole staff there has been great, yes they are small, and yes during the busy periods it may take them a while but they don't waste time. I've heard them dealing with others while waiting and they treated all of us with smiles, laughs and very courteous attention. I'd recommend them to anyone who asked... Thanks Enterprise.. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would..Worse service at an Enterprise I've ever had. I called on a Friday and the guy I talked to was very rude and said they didn't have any cars, but should get some that afternoon. I called them again that afternoon and according to him they still didn't have any cars. That same night, I rode by there and it turned out they had cars in the parking lot. I went the next morning as soon as they opened and it took me an hour to get a car. They wanted to give me a big car, but I had to explain that I needed something smaller. Luckily, someone was returning a smaller car. Which took them an hour to clean apparently. While there, they hit someone elses car in the parking lot. I won't be using this Enterprise again if I ever do use that rental service. read more

As earlier stated this is the only place in Gallatin to rent a car. Competition is a good thing. Lack of competition makes for overcharging and an under performing staff. We have rented here a couple of times. Honestly it is just easier to go to Hendersonville than deal with the Gallatin l ocation. Customer service is poor. I find the staff condesending and quite unconcerned about my experience with them. I reserved a vehicle online no problem. My husband calls to reserve a vehicle,none are available. Kerry also told my husband that if we rented form the Airport there was a 35% surcharge or fee..What? Thats crazy. Online the price includes tax. When my husband picked up the vehicle he was told it did not include tax. So i guess we will argue this out upon return. We are renting the car for 30 days,you would think they would care. My advice go elsewhere. They pick you up in a 5 mile radius of Gallatin. Thats pretty small. The entire experience at this location is just bad.. Gallatin is a lovely fast growing suburb of Nashville. Im sure in the near future we will add another car rental brand and enterprise will be forced to provide some level of customer service. read more

I had a fairly great experience with this company. I didn't have to wait long for someone to pick me up at the body shop. Since my insurance contacted them and arranged for everything, there really wasn't much for me to do put give a credit card for the taxes and prepay gas. I was told their gas was $1.79. (more on this later) The car I was given was a Nissan Ultima.....very nice car but I really didn't feel comfortable in it. After driving it for a week, and being told that my car wouldn't be ready for another week, I decided that I wanted a smaller car. I called them and was told they had a Ford Focus. Great. I picked up the Focus later that day and it was great. The repairs on my car finished early and when I took the car back, all I had to do was drop it off, take my receipt and was promptly given a ride to the body shop. I would recommend this business to friends. My only issue and I should have said something at the time but I was anxious to get my car - I was charged $43 dollars for gas - I used a half of a tank in the Altima and a half a tank in the focus. The Altima has a tank capacity of 20 gallons and the Focus about 12.5 we can round up to 13. So I used 16.5 gallons of gas. At $1.79 would be $30. So it seems I was overcharged for gas. While I hate losing money like that - it was on me to speak up and I didn't. I would still recommend but with the caveat of check your receipt before you leave the premises. read more

The car I got had no cruise control. That was pretty lame if you ask me. I was told that all of TN will not allow for any rent a car lots to have drop box's any more. Soooo I have to return the car the next day during working hours. At 7:30am. Great to know that we have different starting hours Enterprise. So I showed up early to drop my car off hopping to get back to work as soon as i could. Employees showed up about 7... didn't unlock the door, just looked at me as I waited outside until 7:30. Oh don't let me forget. They don't have a lot to hold your car while you are with them. But luckly they will drop you off at your car that is in some parking lot a few blocks away. The parking lot for some other stores. Hope your car doesn't get broken into, park under a light i guess. read more

I rent a lot of cars - all over the country - from many different locations and companies. I use the Gallatin branch as it is the most convenient for me both for business and personal use. It is a smaller busy, busy branch office but since I plan ahead, reserving a car by phone before I show up, I have never had a problem or any kind of extended wait. Most of the delay is from customers not understanding the rental process and the staff taking time to explain every detail (incl their insurance benefits). Also it is a small lot, you will not have the same selection you will at the airport. The staff have always been more than accommodating, professional and friendly working with me regarding vehicle type, return and pick up. I would recommend this branch. read more

I have some issues about parking car elsewhere which I find out of the norm.. They have a pickup and drop off at your house bussiness so I dont take much issue with that. I just rented from them had no issues let me pick up car early and also drop off later then said at no extra charge. I find them staffed well now and very friendly. I cant say much for the liers in Nashville by the convention center. Gallatin has been great to me. read more

If I could give a zero star rating that is what they would get....I have rented from Enterprise on multiple occasions where you make a reservation for a specific date and time then get there to pick up the vehicle and are informed there are no vehicles available... and the best they can do is get a vehicle for the next day... if you don't have availability, then don't take the reservation.... read more

It is the worst Enterprise I've dealt with! I'm going to Uber back to Hendersonville to get my cars. They are never on time often don't have a vehicle for you and the staff nickel and dimes you to death. I rent for work so its' not even my money but it is the lack of customer service and help always excuses and often not even apologies when they don't fix things they've done wrong. I will spend more money and go to Hendersonville to rent from now on. read more

Great staff, but I take exception to some of enterprises policies and total disregard for customers needs and convenience. Can't use a debit card without jumping through a dozen hoops, reserved a full sized SUV, received an equinox which won awards as a COMPACT SUV. No Sunday return or key drop box, so had to pay extra day, and was told I had to park my personal vehicle in a Fred's parking lot a block away. read more

I called ahead to make sure everything was good on my rental, and was assured that it was. The day before my rental was supposed to happen, I tried to come to the office and fill out all the paperwork, but was told that there was no need. I show up st the office, only to be told that the paperwork that I was told would work, would , in fact, not be acceptable. So no car for me, and since I had to reserve a motel room, I am now out the money it cost to rent the rooms. Thank you Enterprise, I now have to waste a couple hundred dollars because of your employees. I will never use this company again and will try as hard as I can to ensure no one I know rents from you either. Way to fumble on the one yard line, Enterprise, Way to go. Now I have two children with their hearts set on vacation, and I get to ruin their day. Really wish I could rate 0 stars. read more

If could give this location zero starts I would for sure. I have rented at this location for many, many years. We rent cars for business and to take family road trips. I have, in the past always had great customer service and indeed was very happy. I am Enterprise business member and rent cars from them all over the country. The customer service at this location since they changed general management is the worst I have ever experienced. They take forever and give long time customers a hard time about every thing without explanation or justification. I understand company policies can change. I am one of those rare people who choose not to have a credit card. I understand companies have to protect themselves, but I started renting with Enterprise because they were so good to their customers and didn't penalize you for being responsible. They changed their policies without notice and now require a utility bill, outrageous deposits and I was treated like a "deadbeat" because I didn't have a credit card. I choose not to have one and that doesn't make me a deadbeat. I was also lied to when I called to confirm and told they didn't even take debit cards which is not true. Also the last few times I've rented a car they have been dirty or damaged. I'm done with this location but not Enterprise. Their policies don't bother me as I understand they have to protect against dishonest people. But I guarantee there are lot of folks who old credit cards who are lot less financially solvent than I am with my debit card. I am going to a different location and driving a bit farther all because the manager, Jared couldn't find it within himself to present the information in a better way and treat all customers like human beings. read more
