Received a call the night before I was supposed to pick up my rental to confirm. I called back but they were closed. I called the morning of and confirmed everything was good to go, was told yes my rental was confirmed. Went to pick up my rental on my lunch break and was told "my boss left a message to tell you we didn't have any yesterday". I said no and I called back and confirmed, she then proceeded to tell me well you can just book through the airline or something. I said no my husband is about to bring my dog to NC for surgery TOMORROW and I made the reservation on Saturday, I don't have time to run around. Asked if there was anyway she could contact the nearest location to have a car brought out and was told no. This isn't the first time I've tried to rent a car from this location and the rental was confirmed and then they don't have it. I would give 0 stars if I could. Now I'm stuck with no car and a 7 month old because I'm fairly certain they gave my rental away to someone else. Second time where we've placed a rental and last second it gets cancelled on us. Both times we've received calls late in the day saying they are calling to confirm only to call back and them be closed and show up and be denied. Excellent customer service from the time I scheduled a personal pick up at a local body shop to me receiving a quick and efficient rental experience. Morgan is my agent at the Gloucester VA location. She explained every detail in the rental process regarding payments, gas, and return of vehicle. In less than 5 minutes the rental process is done. This is her last day at this location. OK, so a rental car company just provides a car...BUT, this location provides real service! My SUV had to go to the shop in Kilmarnock (about 30 miles from the Enterprise location). They arranged to pick me up within hours and had me in a rental car quickly. When I dropped off the rental, they drove me back to get my SUV. A delightful trip. No hassles! The staff is amazing. Just rented an economy car last weekend to drive to Baltimore. As a new customer, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I had made reservations online and their was no notice that you had to bring a recent paystub for employment verification. Paperwork processing and receiving a car took all of 30 minutes. There is a $100 deposit in addition to rates - that is actually lower than I had expected. The location is easy to get to and the office was nice and clean with no wait time. All three of the sales people were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my rental car! I have already made reservations for next month! read more

I called and set up a reservation to be pick upped from a particular address.One hour and fifteen minutes before pick up time I called to cancel the pick up..I would be coming into the office instead.I confirmed that I would be there at 4:00pm and that according to them all would be ready for me.I arrived on time and waited one hour and twenty minutes for the car to be ready.The car was not cleaned properly and it was covered in dirt..mud..and scum.I possibly would've looked over the dirt aspects but I waited an hour an twenty minutes which caused me to miss an appointment I had scheduled that day..due to waiting for this car that should've been there ready and waiting..hence I made a timed reservation. read more

I rented with you a few times and no issues....good service and no hassles, however, my last weekend trip to PA I rented a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and the ride was horrible. Noisy, steering was loose and 43k miles on the vehicle and suspension was awful as well. Car smelled of smoke and dirty seats too. I think that mileage on a car of 43k is alot to be renting out to customers and even the tires were too worn out as well. This should not have been in rental status at all. I would rent again from you but definitely not a Hyundai. read more
