This place is really nice, very clean (you can smell the cleaning products in main office), and organized. My tour was with Mel and she was very knowledgeable and pleasant, all of my questions were answered upfront. It was a great feeling to receive a call from the location manager the next day thanking me for coming out to view their site as well as ask if I had an additional question.

(Thats 6 months in advance ok?) Stor Moore was my "preferred" pickup location, because it was literally 0.8 miles from my house! Anyway, I decided to stop into Stor Moore the day before my scheduled pickup just to make sure they had me all set for the next morning. Turns out Uhaul(not Stor Moore) reserved me, but never "scheduled" me which all in short almost means that they gave my truck to the first person who paid up front for it. I called Uhaul customer service just for them to tell me, "sorry we dont have any equipment in the area at all, but we can give you a $50 credit towards your card on file for the inconvenience!! WHAT??? I basically tell her that is bogus, unfair, and flat out incompetent customer service. She then says "well we do have a truck available in Windsor, Va but the auto transport is in Franklin so you'd have to go pick them both up separately. Which means I would be driving my own car, plus the uhaul truck for about 2-3 extra hours. I was literally on the verge of tears. All this planning for our move, just to come down to we dont even have a truck after reserving 6 months in advance. We called a few competitor truck rental companies just to be disappointed again because now we'd be considered "last minute" reservations which is way more expensive (approx $300-$400 more) It was just a frustrating mess!! But Stor Moore to the rescuuuee!! lol The staff at this location was working on my behalf all along, and speaking to higher ups and their go to direct contacts for Uhaul. They called me back to tell me that they'd received the ok to go and pick up both the truck and auto transport for me at no additional charge and that they'd have it for me on time the next day as planned! Not only that, I was comped an extra 200 miles, and given a discount on the overall rental equipment. They took care of us at Stor Moore!! (7307 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, Va). Its been a long process planning our big move from VA to FL, but thank God for the amazing and helpful staff at Stor Moore man. They really look out for their customers and I'll NEVER forget it!!!

I had an issue where the price changed from when I first made my reservation and they fixed it for me no problem. This was not the location I originally requested to pick up from but I'm glad I got assigned here anyway! If the rest of my move goes this smoothly I will be so happy.
