Had a seamless, couldn't have been easier experience with this rental. My only issue is that I had to wait in line several minutes at the airport desk and I was nervous because I had already made two reservations at other places that day which ended up falling through, so the wait seemed extra long because I was afraid the same thing would happen again. So, you can imagine my relief and appreciation when I approached the counter to talk to a smiling, pleasant, welcoming person who informed me I was getting an upgraded (to small SUV) vehicle. He quickly took care of things, handed me my key, and told me the number and location of the parking spot of my vehicle. It was amazingly quick and easy. The vehicle was great and I had a safe trip. I returned the vehicle by parking in a spot near the Enterprise branded booth, a personal and professional man named Noah quickly checked the car, took the key and bid me good day. 10/10!! read more

I appreciate the convenient location of this Enterprise rent-a-car within the airport. It saved myself and my family from standing out in the cold for too long. Despite being quite busy during the holidays, the staff remained friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. The staff we interacted with, although friendly and helpful, was obviously new. She continually asked her colleague for help and clarification, which is fine. However, she did not know the difference between a convertible car seat and a booster car seat. We rented a convertible car seat to help reduce the baggage we were carrying during our travels, but she gave us a booster seat. Although it was clean, it was not the correct one that would safely fit our almost 2 year old child. We waiting in line again only for her to give us a dirty convertible car seat. Thankfully, the SUV we rented was clean and comfortable during our holiday stay on the east coast. We did not have any issues with the SUV at all, which I'm very thankful for. Overall, the service was decent, but all new staff need basic training on the different types of car seats for babies, toddlers, and children. They should also improve the cleaning of all car seats being rented out to patrons as well. Other than that, my husband and I were relatively pleased with the service and the car we rented. read more

I do not recommend this place at all. I put in a reservation through my job (for a discount) at the Enterprise on Wendover Ave (instead of the airport). When I arrived at the airport I had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to get helped. The person who "helped" me was Kavani. Little did I know he was not helping me at all. He tells me there was an error pulling up my reservation. I now know the error was because I booked at Wendover and not the airport. My thing is, why couldn't he easily see that in the system and direct me as such? Anyway, because he was getting an "error" he said he would handle me as a walk in. I specifically said that was fine as long as I would get the same rate. He messed with the computer for several minutes trying to figure out what my discount code was, and then assured me he figured it out and I was good to go. He told me I could only choose from a mustang or a truck. I didn't want a truck, so I went with the mustang. I've attached photos of the problems with the mustang, the main one being that the passenger side window would not close (imagine that when you're driving down the highway and it's cold at night after spending all day flying). The vents were also busted out and there was writing on the driver side window. The tire pressure light also came on before we made it to my partner's house, so we had to put air in the tires. Absurd. When I checked my rental agreement, I was surprised to find I'd been charged $890 for the rental, when my original reservation was for $548. I contacted Enterprise about this, and they told me I'd have to take the car back to the airport (30 mins from where we're staying). I didn't go back until the next morning because we'd been traveling since 9AM that day, and we didn't discover this issue until around 8PM (originally got the car at maybe 6pm at the earliest). When I took the busted up vehicle back they charged me $112 for the 12 or 13 hours I had the mustang in my possession. I also had to get an Uber from the airport to the Wendover location in order to pick up the correct rental. Overall, I do not feel like I was provided any care or service at all. Traveling is already difficult and time consuming and stressful, this experience was awful and I hope no one else goes through what I did over the last 2 days. read more

The lady behind the counter deceitfully jammed insurance on our rental. When we checked in the reservation had been changed from 2 days to 9. We were shocked to hear the price. The agent then canceled that reservation and changed it to the appropriate days. She asked us the questions. We specifically requested no insurance needed. When trying to operate the signatures and initials on the pad the yellow button to advance to the next section wasn't working. So the lady took the pad from us and swiped it to the next section wasn't. When doing that she added the insurance without our knowledge. When she gave us the 2 day total we were shocked to hear the total was almost twice the rental rate. We asked why. Her response was the airport fees and taxes. Once we got to our hotel we checked the bill and some alphabet soup added fee (cow/idw?) ended up being added insurance. She had deceived us twice to get a commission on the insurance sale. Usually I have good experience with Enterprise, but not at this location. read more

On top of that several people who were helping us just went to lunch and then came back with food and just made us wait. This location is great. The girls behind the counter on my travel dates (9/1-9/11) were fantastic. They were incredibly short on ANY vehicles though around 5pm. I rented a full size pick up, they had none. So I was given a Jeep Gladiator. That car was horrible. I left the airport and not even 5 minutes later was returning because of the weird noise the Jeep made. On my return they did have someone return a full size pick up, a silver 2023 Silverado LTZ with all the bells and whistles. Return was really simple. The attendant out in the lot was cheerful and gave me ample time to gather my things without being rushed. And with a short walk into the terminal from the lot helped. They had to clean it, so I was asked to wait about 30 minutes. Not a big deal. This truck, and the pleasant service made up for the terrible Jeep that would have been mine for the 10 days. I prefer flying into GSO and this enterprise as i've had no issues with them so far. read more

A very tired 2yr old who doesn't realize he is tired, a tired mom, and a Pappi trying to figure out how to get to Elon at 1am+ ENTERPRISE TO THE RESCUE! If it wasn't for ZACK & HANNAH it would have been a very bad night!! I had a prepaid booking with another car rental company (left my flight info with the reservation) and our flight was delayed 55 minutes, but deep down I thought they will be open. Upon arrival myself and many passengers rushed to the car rental area only to find that company NOT ONLY CLOSED, BUT THIS NOTE: PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME, RESERVATION #, AND A CALL BACK #, WE ARE OUT OF CARS 13 NAMES AHEAD OF OURS. I will never use them again!! I guarantee many won't there were a few of us. Enterprise came through 110% and provided a great car Audi Q5 for the same price as my prepaid reservation through another company (which I'm still trying to get some sort of refund for). Enterprise has asked me via email twice to provide a review. I hesitate because I don't want to sound negative so I will write this in a way that would make my experience better if these were to happen. My experience picking up my rental car every week from the same location at GSO would be better if: 1) you welcome me as a Enterprise Plus Gold level (highest is Platinum) member. 2) you say "welcome back mrs. laniak, we hope you had a nice flight" or something similar 3) the aisle that is for Enterprise Plus members gets used. i get to stand in the same line as everyone else. what is the point of advertising the line if it's not used? 4) you have my paperwork ready. it is never ready, i always have to wait for it to be looked up, punched in, printed etc. why can it not be ready for me upon arrival? 5) when you are expecting a long line of customers (you would know this because they have reservations) you have more then one staff member at the desk. I have been considering changing to another provider because of these reasons. I don't see the benefit of being a Plus member - I would even pay to be a Plus member if it meant I got some type of benefit that saved me time. Sorry I couldn't be more positive. The only - ONLY - enjoyable part I get from renting weekly from GSO is I get to see Double D - the Enterprise employee that hands me my keys and walks me to the car. I had a special event out of state I had planned for a year to go to for my 50th Birthday. I booked a rental through enterprise. My rental was CONFIRMED. The morning I was on the way to pick up my rental, the office called and told me the rental wouldnt be back at the business until later that day. Later that day when I went to pick up my rental, I was told that the previous customer had returned it to another branch, about an hour away. This would have been fine except it was friday afternoon at 430, and both places closed at 5 and were not open on Saturday, (the day of my event). I was told I could call around myself and see if there were any cars available at any other branch, but of course, nothing close would be open long enough for me to go get it. Its important to note that I was told NO cars were available, yet there were 2 employees sitting at their desks, fiddling with their cell phones. I am confused as to why neither of them could arrange for my vehicle to be brought to the location. I was given NO viable options. Again, I had a CONFIRMED RESERVATION. As if thats not bad enough, I emailed Enterprise corporate to explain to them what had happened, looking for SOME KIND of explaination. After 2 emails, I FINALLY got a response saying that a district or regional manager would be contacting me. I waited about 2 weeks, I emailed them again explaining that I never heard back from anyone. Again they told me that someone would reach out. Again, 2 weeks later and NOTHING. I emailed them yet AGAIN. Again I was told someone woukd reach out. I even told them I was going to leave a negative review. As of today, 3 FULL MONTHS after my "confirmed reservation" was not honored, and I have heard NOTHING back. Not even so much as an apology. I had these plans for over a year, and because of the poorly conducted business by Enterprise, my 50th birthday plans went bust. I was not able to go. I PROMISE I will NEVER rent another vehicle from Enterprise ever again. read more

My husband flew in from a business trip to Germany and needed a one way rental to SW Virginia. The desk agent for enterprise closed early and the agent at the Alamo desk tried to help, but could not find the rental confirmation. something to do with Alamo not having access to full rental information on computer. He finally got his car. The car was returned to the drop off location in accordance to the rental agreement, one day rental, but when husband arrived at drop off location they were closed early. (what is it with enterprise leaving early??) There was a handwritten note to leave car and drop keys in box, which we did. The next day imagine how surprised we were to get a bill for a two day rental. We called the drop off facility and told them we returned it as per the agreement, and it was their office that was closed early. The drop off facility told us that they had nothing to do with the billing and we had to call the GSO office. After going through 20 minutes of recorded instructions I finally got a live agent. She said she would correct the error and resend me a corrected receipt. Two weeks later.....still no receipt. I finally had to go to my credit card company and get a copy of the charges. At least they fixed the charge and credited us with the difference. We rent from Enterprise a lot, but after this fiasco we will really rethink that. read more

I rented a Nissan Altima from Enterprise RDU (great job guys there, well done). And dropped at 6am at the Enterprise lot right next to the airport. At 6am, you may not see workers scurrying around which can throw you. We pulled into the Enterprise car return lot right next to the airport (about 75 steps to the terminal -- very cool) and thought we'd be taking the keys inside. Imagine the surprise when there was a tap on the window and a worker from Enterprise appeared at 6am. Startled us but he could not have been friendlier. Got all the bags out and was the most chipper person we encountered that entire day. Great experience. The location at the GSO Triad airport of auto return is really easy. You drive to the terminal and just go past the last of the departure drop off zones and there is the rental car drop off return for all brands of rental cars. About 75 steps to the airport terminal is sweet. Great people, great car, A+ in an industry which has had a downward spiral in service. read more

First I tried for two days to get someone on the phone at the location over the holiday weekend. When I arrived to pick up, It was blamed on holiday traffic and being busy. Two days?!?? Second, they asked if I wanted protection on the vehicle. I said no as I ALWAYS do on every rental. The receipt comes and every extra charge possible was added. Damage insurance, roadside assistance and some CDW charge equaling $100!!! Not only that but apparently if you rent from an airport​location there are additional taxes and fees charging me an additional $35. Of course that was never explained to me either. A 3 day rental of sports car $466.47!!! On the Enterprise app it was advertised $75/day?!?! You do the math on that one. Too many other options out there. read more

On Wed, Jun 29, my husband called from work and asked me to rent a large vehicle to make a quick trip to NYC. I thought I had a difficult task before me since this was a holiday weekend. I phoned Enterprise and to my amazement I was on file, in fact I was informed that I was a plus member and this afforded me a discounted rate. I reserved a 7 passenger vehicle for 3 days and got a terrific rate. We picked up the vehicle at PTI airport( Greensboro, NC) customer service was excellent and stress free. Our vehicle was right outside the door and the Customer Service Agent escorted us out the door and directed us to the vehicle location, Thats what I call top notch, personal customer service. 2.5 star review. Came into town for a family emergency. Had reviewed the going rates on Travelocity and knew what I wanted to spend if I wound up renting, and I did when I landed. Went to their desk and said that I knew Carolla class cars were 41 a day for Enterprise the other mid-to-upper services. Clerk offered 48 a day, wasn't happy about that, but this was an emergency. Then, after the contract was drawn, suddenly there is a 30% airport tax too! So,book a reservation next time, no credit cards are needed to reserve, so if you opt out, no worries. I needed a car and signed my life away. Staff was friendly, car was very nice. No major time wasted on upsells and insurance chatter. Drop off was fast and comfortable for a pre-dawn flight out. So book you car before you get to the counter as most services will also reflect airport fees and taxes. They're pretty much bandits for walk-ups. read more

This location and Enterprise in general are no longer an option for me in terms of car rentals. This company treats its customers (or maybe specifically the insurance or roadside assistance customers) like they do not matter. I received this car as part of an insurance claim with Allstate (this car was horrible from the start; bumper was falling off and the car lacked the usual features found in any car built after 2012 yet Enterprise rented me this). I attempted to get this vehicle exchanged after hours at an airport location and was told that they don't exchange there unless the vehicle has a mechanical issue. After driving this for 5 days, I was left on the side of the highway for 2 hours with a flat tire after being told by the roadside assistance rep that no one can help me unless I moved the vehicle to a physical location for the safety of their drivers. I moved the car as far as I could (the tire was further damaged) until, after 5 mins., the rep said maybe they can make an exception since I could not find a location to stop. Then, she proceeded to tell me that the service would be $59. I asked if I could put a spare on myself and drive it to Enterprise and she said yes. So I said forget it, hung up, and proceeded to change the tire on the side of the highway. I went to the trunk and there was no spare tire. I called Enterprise and they said the 2016 Hyundai Accents (compact cars) do not have spare tires they come with an air pump. I told him after the previous rep forced me to drive the vehicle the tire is completely damaged and cannot be pumped. He suggested that I call a tow truck and get a new tire from Firestone (ALL AT MY OWN EXPENSE FOR A PIECE OF CRAP VEHICLE THAT I DON'T OWN). He was no help. I don't understand why a rental car company would purchase a vehicle that does not include a spare seeing that the vehicle would potentially be driven by hundreds of different people. My boyfriend had to call to finally get someone to help me. The supervisor says that they pick people up from the highway all the time and doesn't know why I was told that. Another two hours later, I was given a minivan (never drove one before) and when I expressed concern for driving this huge vehicle an hour (at 10pm) home after all I've been through that night, I was told for Roadside Assistance the vehicle just has to have four wheels and can be driven. I was already stressed as I was also moving during this time and this just put the icing on the cake. I have NEVER been treated this way by a company and there are some things that occurred that are not even in this review to save space. I have began telling everyone I know NEVER to rent from this company. I used to only rent with them but never again. I will be writing a letter to corporate as well and reporting this to my local news station. This was UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Best rental car experience of my entire life - was NOT expecting that! I'm in the music and entertainment industry and travel frequently. This is the first time I've ever rented a car at GSO airport from Enterprise - and it certainly won't be the last! Marissa, Nefertete (pick-up) and Cash (I think that was his name - on drop-off) were professional, friendly and all-around great. I live in the local area and recently rented a 15 passenger van on 4/9/16 for a youth group day event. Two separate Enterprise agents called me in the week prior to my rental to confirm the van was still needed. The day of the rental, I pick up the van. The pickup process took a little longer than I planned because there was 1 agent on duty so I was behind schedule when I left. I inspected the outside - everything was good. On my way to the church, I noticed the gas gauge was not on a full tank - but between full and 3/4th. Then when I got to the church, I was told that there was trash left inside; the van had not been cleaned prior to our rental. I was thoroughly disappointed. When I returned the van at the end of the day with a full tank of gas, I informed the agent about the condition at the start of my rental and requested a partial refund. She took my information on a slip of paper and I have yet to hear from anyone. I will think twice before renting from this location again. read more

I rent from Greensboro airport very often and normally have no trouble at all. However this weekend the car we rented had a very annoying, loud, super high pitched beep coming from the dash area about every 5 minutes. Needless to say on a 12 hour round trip drive it almost drove us nuts. When I returned the car at the end of the weekend I explained it to the guy...not complaining, but just letting him know so they could look into the noise and save the next person from the annoyance. He completely dismissed me and almost acted as if I was lying or the noise was somehow my fault, and said it was probably something I touched by accident. No apology or "thank you, we'll look into it"... all I received was a "hmm, I'm sure it was nothing". I rent from Enterprise ALOT, so I expect to be treated as a valuable customer. I was very disappointed this past weekend. read more

The customer service was nice, however I purchased the car order online and was told this included all the payments and that all I had to do was pick up my rental car for my scheduled date. My purchase came to $115 online. When I get there it was $272. I would have appreciated something to let me know ahead of time because this cut into my budget for my trip and had a negative affect. Just let people know ahead of time so they can plan better because not everyone has extra money like that and traveling expenses can really add up. read more

I made a rental reservation at the Greensboro airport location in late November 2015 and received email confirmations in both November and December that I would be picking up my rental mid- December for three days. The reservation included my flight information. My flight was delayed. When I got to the Greensboro airport, Enterprise had opted to not wait for me, had not made any alternate arrangements for me, the counter was closed, and there was no car for me to pick up after hours. Not only did Enterprise not wait for my arrival or make alternate arrangements on my behalf, but also at no point was I notified by email, phone call, or text that I would need to make alternate arrangements for myself, despite Enterprise having my contact information. When this information was relayed to corporate (along with relevant documentation), they put me in touch with Eric Grainger at this location, who said he would reimburse the difference. Nothing was offered for my inconvenience. That was two months ago and I have heard nothing from Enterprise or Mr. Grainger and received no compensation. I'd advise against renting from this location. read more
