They look at me supposed and asked what class of car. Over a hour later I was given a car outside my class. Couldn't complain muck here. I had 4 wheels. Upon returning this vehicle, 2 bums in a personal vehicle asked me to park in a stall. No problem... As soon as I parked, they ransacked the vehicle, even smashing my wife leg in the door looking for lost valuables I guess. I had to tell them to relax. I still have my belongings in the car. Would I ever rent here again.... HELL NO!!

Enterprise over booked and didn't have a Pick up for me despite a reservation so I went to Avis. It was on 3/4/25 about 7pm. The employee let me know that they had a couple pick ups available, spent a couple minutes getting details and return info (8 day trip), looked for any discounts I could use and was within 40$ of what i would have been paying at Enterprise. Drove off with a nice 2025 Black F150 with 21*** miles on it. It was a hybrid and I wouldn't change the fuel range it had on it for anything. Did over 1200 miles, with a full tank it gave you about 725 mile until empty. Large info screen, car play, navigation, heated seats (cloth), large center console, and it had blue cruise (hands free cruise control) which was very nice on the long road trip we took.

My only issue is that I had…read moreto wait in line several minutes at the airport desk and I was nervous because I had already made two reservations at other places that day which ended up falling through, so the wait seemed extra long because I was afraid the same thing would happen again. So, you can imagine my relief and appreciation when I approached the counter to talk to a smiling, pleasant, welcoming person who informed me I was getting an upgraded (to small SUV) vehicle. He quickly took care of things, handed me my key, and told me the number and location of the parking spot of my vehicle. It was amazingly quick and easy. The vehicle was great and I had a safe trip. I returned the vehicle by parking in a spot near the Enterprise branded booth, a personal and professional man named Noah quickly checked the car, took the key and bid me good day. 10/10!!

Despite being quite busy during the holidays, the staff remained friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. The staff we interacted with, although friendly and helpful, was obviously new. She continually asked her colleague for help and clarification, which is fine. However, she did not know the difference between a convertible car seat and a booster car seat. We rented a convertible car seat to help reduce the baggage we were carrying during our travels, but she gave us a booster seat. Although it was clean, it was not the correct one that would safely fit our almost 2 year old child. We waiting in line again only for her to give us a dirty convertible car seat. Thankfully, the SUV we rented was clean and comfortable during our holiday stay on the east coast. We did not have any issues with the SUV at all, which I'm very thankful for. Overall, the service was decent, but all new staff need basic training on the different types of car seats for babies, toddlers, and children. They should also improve the cleaning of all car seats being rented out to patrons as well. Other than that, my husband and I were relatively pleased with the service and the car we rented.

This is for an out of state trip and I needed a bigger vehicle so that everyone would be comfortable. When I arrived, there was 1 person in line ahead of me. I waited about 5 minutes. The airport itself was not busy at all and there was only one person at the counter. When it was my turn, the whole process took about 5 minutes as I pretty much did everything online. I did have to pay a security hold of $250, which I really don't know why considering I paid for their insurance, was over $40 a day! Fortunately, the car was parked close and not in the uncovered lot. The vehicle I got was a Ford Expedition. It has a lot of great features. The exterior was VERY dirty and the vehicle was white. I had to take it to the car wash as I didn't want to drive around like that. --- I extended my reservation for a day. It was a whole lot haha. $10 extend fee plus all the other taxes and stuff. I did it online, so the process was simple and easy. I arrived around 7pm on a Sunday evening to return the car. There was mo return staff, so I had to go to the counter. There were 2 staff working and there was a small line... 2 parties waiting and 2 being served. I waited about 10 minutes. The process for checking in took 2 minutes lol. The lady was very friendly and I received a receipt via email and a paper copy.

    So a few nights ago I decided to rent a car for a trip that my girlfriend and I are currently on,…read morerather than subject my car to another long road trip. I went online, compared rates, and decided to try Payless. So I make the reservation online, and prior to submitting my payment I take a look at the Terms and Conditions listed on the payment screen. They mention that a credit card hold of $200 will be applied at the time of pickup, and that it is refundable after the car is returned. They also state that a debit card can be used at some locations, but may require a credit check. This, in a nutshell, is all that is mentioned about debit cards being used for the deposit. So Saturday gets here and we go to the airport to pick up the car. A very rude girl at the counter takes my name and asks me for my card an my ID. She also asks me for a third method of identification (which isn't listed as a requirement on the website). She changes her mind about that request after she sees the address on my license. She then proceeds to tell me that I will need to put a $350 hold on my card since I am using a debit card. I advised that the website says it is $200, to which she holds up a printout that says it is $350. I respond by showing her the email confirmation I received saying it is $200, and she starts talking about location specific fees and that it was in the terms and conditions I agreed to. I again point out the terms and conditions that I agreed to specifically states $200, and she just kept pointing to the piece of paper. I will admit that I got a little heated, although I kept control of my language, and she then told me that if she wanted to she could just refuse to rent m a ar at all. I had had enough. I went outside and called customer service. The guy on the phone reiterated the same information the girl at the desk had about the fee being listed in the location specific terms, which at this point I had still never seen. I told him that I wanted to cancel the reservation and I wanted a full refund. Normally they charge a $50 fee for a cancellation before $48 hours, and they refuse a refund if it is less than 48 hours, but I feel that I was due a refund since they had misrepresented their fees in the T&Cs. I could have paid the $350 if I wanted to do so. The point was that this was a fee that I was never made aware of (well, at least not that amount) until after I was at the counter. So the guy on the phone says he has to put in a ticket an I'll get a reply by email. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He put me on hold for several minutes then dropped the call. But by that time I had already received an email that my ticket had been entered so I decided to wait to see how that went before I called back and escalated again. So I got the response today. They said that because I didn't cancel before 48 hours I wasn't due any refund. I called back and was told that I would need to reply to the closed ticket with any additional information I had that I wanted considered. Before doing so, I went back to the reservation page just to ensure I hadn't missed anything. I clicked the button for the T&Cs, and sure enough, on that page the only hold listed is the $200. I read through every single word and verified that I was correct, and I was. I decided to look at the rest of the reservation page, and at the very top of the page there is a little tiny link that says policies, and when you click on that it takes you to a menu of different headers. One of those is debit card, so clicked on that, and there it finally mentions the $350. The problem is that this isn't listed anywhere in the T&Cs, there is no link to this page there, and there is no verbiage that directs you to look for it. Anyone trying to rent a car from there website would be under the impression that the fees listed under the T&Cs are the only fees involved in the transaction. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
