-10 stars This was one of the most frustrating and honestly alarming customer service experiences I've ever had. I had a confirmed reservation for a late-night pickup at the Harlingen airport. For nearly two full weeks leading up to my trip, I repeatedly called this location -- at different times of day, including the hours I was specifically told to call -- and no one ever answered the phone. Not once. I finally got through to an employee (Carlos) and very clearly explained that my flight landed at midnight and I would need to pick up my rental after hours. I was told -- confidently -- that arrangements would be made and someone would be there. Based on that, I moved forward trusting that commitment. My flight actually landed early, and I arrived at the counter at 11:46 PM -- before my scheduled arrival time -- only to find the location completely closed, locked, and unattended. No note. No instructions. No attempt to honor the reservation. I was standing in an airport late at night with my daughter, with no transportation, no support, and no way to reach anyone -- after spending weeks trying to prevent exactly this situation. I had no choice but to scramble and secure the only vehicle available from another company, which cost me over $100 more than my original reservation and forced me into a larger, unnecessary vehicle. This wasn't a simple inconvenience -- this was a complete breakdown in communication, accountability, and basic customer care. What makes it worse is that I was directly assured this would be handled. That assurance was completely false. I have still not received any response from Enterprise regarding this situation after attempting to contact them numerous times. I rent from this location at least twice a month and have always experienced excellent customer care. Recently, there was an issue with the vehicle I was given. Because I was so busy, I didn't raise a big concern at the time. However, when I returned the car and shared my experience, David Cabrera, the Branch Manager, immediately listened and responded with understanding and empathy. He addressed the situation quickly and professionally, making me feel truly valued as a customer. This is actually the second time I've had a vehicle-related issue here, but both times I've been impressed by how well the staff handled things. Customer service is horrible I don't think they want to work there and are miserable Never have cars available! I called to reserve and took 3 calls to answer only to tell that they didn't have cars available What ? What is the purpose of your business? Rent cars!!!!!and you don't have any or call other locations to get loaners I travel every week and use only enterprise but this location in particular needs some management upgrade. Worst place to rent for customer service. This is second time they mess up my trip. First time they had us wait 4 hours for a car. Today we scheduled an 8:30 pick up and it's past 9 and they're still cleaning it guess they have just that car. The location at airport is much better. read more

Do not answer their phones at the counter. I know someone is there because I spoke to Avis rep. Next to them and told me they were there. Need to let them know I have them wrong car keys. Can't reach anyone and I've tried foe 2 days. read more

These guys had my reservations under a different name it required me to get my reservation number which is on my laptop after giving him the reservation number they were wrong they had it all the time the issue is that Roxanne the lady who was helping me black hair was rude and insulting and refused to apologize never use enterprise read more

Last week I was headed to Harlingen from Dallas on a flight for a family emergency. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas and we had a tornado outbreak here in the metroplex which caused my original flight to be cancelled. After spending 7 hours waiting on standby, I finally was able to get on a flight, but it put me in Harlingen well after Enterprise's advertised business hours (typically close at 10:30 PM during the week per their website). I panicked. Without a car, I'd never make it out of Harlingen when I needed to be about an hour outside of town by 7:00 AM sharp. Enterprise answered my panicked phone calls with patience and understanding. They promised they would wait for me up until midnight, and when we landed in Harlingen at 11:40 PM, the guy at the counter was waiting there with a smile and was as friendly as could be. I got a better car than I should have gotten, a good price, and great customer service. I would highly recommend renting from this Enterprise location! read more

My company rented a car with Enterprise at the VIA location. The co-worker it was named under couldn't pick it up, but called the location and said I can pick it up and they would allow it. I went in Sunday at 12PM, 2/3/2019 and "Lisa" at the counter said it could not be done. She told me the only way to get the car was to give her a credit card. Why would I pay for it if the company already paid for it in advance? She gave a smirk as if Enterprise was desperate for money. I also brought the Purchase Order and the confirmation number, but she ignored me and talked to another customer when I was even not done with my sentence! When, the other customer dropped off their keys and left, another one arrived and this "Lisa" still ignored me! I told her you are being very rude in front of the other customer, and she just ignored me again. This place is very incompetent at customer service and not knowing what to do by giving false information. "Lisa" in quotes because she wasn't wearing a tag, and probably gave me a false name. read more

No Issues! Car Rental companies get a bad rap so when I have a good experience I like to reward them. Reserved a Full size SUV (expected 5 passenger) and received one that had room for 7! Great Bonus! All it took was asking nicely. read more

Terrible service. Had reservation but they would not give me the vehicle because they said it was rented out already the next day. I said if it's the next day, they should go get another from another location if they had a day to do it. kept getting the run around so I called the 800 number and explained the situation. They confirmed the reservation number and said they would connect me to a supervisor. but low and behold, they connected me to the counter person that was right in front of me. Shocked w disbelief and very disappointed !!!! As a loyal enterprise client I was in disbelief how I was mistreated!!! The attitude demonstrated was you need us, Enterprise doesn't need you!!! Three days before my travel my drivers license split in half. Despite, you could still read all of my info. I flew to Harlingen for business and needed a rental for work!!! To begin the lady who helped me was rude from the get go!!! She stated my drivers license was not good and i would not be able to rent a car!!! Despite being in a city for work car less !!!! Left in the cold and desperate for a solution when she didn't even care! How do u just tell someone we will not rent to you!!! I asked if there was anything that could be done she stated " You Can call a taxi"!!!! They would not rent and she really didn't care!!! Her approach was very distasteful !!! She really didn't care!!! I was stranded and desperate!!! In. City w no transportation I didn't know what I was going to do!!! What a horrible feeling!!! You could log onto the system which would justify my loyalty to Enterprise!!! Having a cousin who worked for them as well as an Aunt who is in insurance industry they had my loyalty !!! She never logged in nor did she care to en-suite who she had in front of her! It was the way she handled the situation and talked down to me!!! What is worst is when I asked to speak to the manager she stated she was the manager!!! I was even more shocked how someone would make it this far w no empathy !!!!
