    What an awesome rental experience! A huge shout out to Alvin for getting me into a really nice Volvo while my car was being repaired. Alvin made sure that everything was good to go. Walked me out to the car and showed the top three things that U would have been unfamiliar with. Alvin was professional and helpful during a stressful time. Thankfully my car was ready today but I really didn't want to give up the rental. Maybe next time I can rent something just as nice! This location is right next to the dealership so it's great if you need a ride while getting your vehicle repaired or if you are in an accident.

    My first Enterprise experience. The staff here was pretty friendly. I had a 1:00p appt to pick up a car. The transaction did not go as smoothly as I thought it would. Don't get me wrong. They did have a car sitting there for us after we did all of our paperwork. Besides paying for the rental they hold an additional $200 for their"just in case fund" all done with a credit card. If you try to use a debit card there are more requirements. The woman who registered us was great, plus very informative. I like that type of service "no surprises' explain everything to me. She took us outside to look at the car we were getting and from the outside it looked fine. She went straight to the drivers side and we followed her. As she was talking I was inspecting the car. To make a long story short the interior of the car was "NASTY'. There were indescribable stains on the passenger seat and the seats in the back of the car was even worse. I didn't even sit in the car and told her I need a different car. We were told another car that they had available for us was getting tires changed plus washed and they weren't sure what time the car will be ready so we went to lunch. We left them our phone number just in case the car was ready sooner while we left. We didn't go far because we didn't have a car. We came back a little after 3:00p. An employee that we spoke to before we left was on the phone in the counter pointed to a running car in the front for us to take. We did a full inspection without an employee before considering taking the car. There was a cracked rim and a big scratch on front panel that was noticeable. We went back in and told that employee to come out to inspect the car with us. He noted the problems and gave me a printout that listed these issues. All said and done, we got a pretty decent "clean" car. Returning the car was really quick and easy. I have rented cars in the past and this was by far the weirdest experience I have ever had. Would I rent from them again? "Not Sure"

    I had been renting from this branch regularly since November last year but this past lease was a huge disaster and they failed to comply with basic COVID-19 standards. I had a rental agreement with this branch for 12 days and went through 3 cars for basic maintenance fails. The first car, the rear tire of the drivers side had a low pressure issue. I had to keep putting air in the tire every other day. The "upgrade" that I received had AC issues. When at a stop light the AC blew hot air. The car overheated and I got a light saying that the coolant in the car was low. I had this car for 2 days. The 3rd car they gave me, upon picking up the gas light was on. I had to wait 25 minutes in their parking lot for someone to put gas and come back. As I drove off, I realized the car had NOT been cleaned or sanitized from the previous rental. There was a black stain the the passages backrest, the cup holders were dirty, and there was coffee stains in the back of the driver seat. Being in the middle of a pandemic this is NOT OK. You are putting your clients at risk. I spoke to corporate, they said the branch manager would handle it upon closing my lease. I rep who closed my lease said I would get a call from corporate the next day. I did not get a call, I called corporate again last Monday on 6/15 they filed an Escalation form and told me I would hear back from someone in the next few days. A week later, I did not get a call back from anyone. I called the branch manager Niomi Maehama, and she said all she could offer was an upgrade in my next rental. I've talked to at least 5 different people, each time telling the story over and over because apparently their system doesn't allow for notes or the reps simply didn't want this noted on their system. The lease ended on 6/12, 10 days later I have not yet gotten a call back with a proper solution.

    They sprayed some kind of perfume in our car rental that even into the next day it is so strong I can hardly breath.

    Bad Service.Very long wait time. Manager is a young female with very short patience for customers. I would recommend 2150 Miramar location.

The van was filthy and when I went inside to tell her something she said, what do you want from me? You're not even paying the full price, in front of other customers. I get a government rate and I rent often. That time she saw that my face was not very happy with the way that she spoke to me and she apologized and offered me two other vehicles. This time I made a reservation online with Avis specifically looking for the Volkswagen SUV that I saw was in their lot. The Avis representative told me that the Volkswagen SUV is not currently held on a reservation and I can book it. I booked it for two weeks . I went into the office 15 minutes after making my reservation. Ana looked at me and said what's your name again, yeah your reservation is canceled. She didn't want to give me the SUV on the government rate. I then called Avis customer service back they reinstated my reservation and told me just to tell the agent that I would like to pay for the upgrade. She said let me ask my manager. She made me wait for 10 minutes, came back and said I'm giving you the Mazda. I said is the Volkswagen booked and she said that's private information I can't give that to you. I just went back and asked her for her employee ID number because I'm making a complaint with Avis and she said I don't have an employee ID number. I work for a franchise. I'm a fireman. I go to people on their worst days. It's very easy for me to lose my composure if I need to, but I try my best to hold it together. But I always treat people with respect. This lady has never been nice to deal with.

    We rent our cars through Costco Car Rental and I used to try to save money by going with the…read morecheaper options, like B******, but after consistently poor service, dirty/filthy cars and long waits with the other company that starts with a "B", price is no longer a factor; although Alamo is generally not that much more expensive than the other rental agencies, either- and it's totally worth it. I only had problems with one Alamo in Washington state run by a local small family that tried to give us an EV when we said no, but other than that, no problems with Alamo. Checking out our car here at FLL airport location was a breeze with the online option (which we did from our browser prior to arrival); skipping the kiosks and lines entirely. We went straight to the lot, which was very well marked with clear signage and chose our mid-sized SUV that was very clean (Alamo cars are some of the cleanest I've found). We showed our ID/credit card and bar code and drove off the lot in less than ten minutes. I also liked the service at FLL Alamo because the agent at the check out was super nice, as was the agent I had to call when we got to our hotel because the garage was dark and I didn't see a minor car dent I had to phone in later. We returned our car at Cape Canaveral and although that Alamo was tiny, had no problems dropping it off. RETURN FACTOR: Alamo for No' Mo' hassle! Count me a loyalist from now on.

We didn't need a toll pass, but nice to have that option in the Sunshine State if needed. No penalty for turning in the car early when my husband had to catch his vacation short. Make sure to fill the gas before turning the rental back in. Plenty of gas station nearby. Tip: Stop at Pita Plus on the way back to the airport and pick up a falafel sandwich to go. It's a 10-15 minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale Airport. You will be glad you did.
