Had a fantastic experience ! This location is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Hilton village, very easy. The two girls at the front desk were very helpful and quick. I spent maybe 5 min at the desk. You up the elevator to another desk, they had about 3-4 people working grabbing at the cars. I was honestly impressed how quick they were moving, took maybe 5-10 min because they had about 4-5 cars to move. Everyone I talked to was very nice and had great customer service. Jovi helped get my car, super nice guy. Couple to knows. They DO NOT have after hour drop off so you'll have to be back by 5 pm. This is off the Hilton property, very walkable. Sound like the Hilton Campis location does have after hours drop off but it's about more expensive. This is definitely a great choice for a days rental though. Also try the sushi spot you walk past! Experience was actually very good until the return of our vehicle. On return we were asked to prove that the large and very obvious scratches on the bonnet were not made during our rental period. They had no record of these scratches and another attendant came over and said they weren't there prior to us taking the car. Luckily we took pretty detailed photos prior to taking the car, and I recommend to everyone to do this, as we could easily show they were there prior to us taking the car. Improve your inspection process Enterprise!! Someone should have done an initial inspection with us when we were also inspecting it!! read more

Then you take the elevator ... down or up, I forgot, and walk a bit and you will get to the counter to get your car. Everyone here was so efficient, friendly, and great! Sometimes you come in wondering if it's going to be another one of those shit show rental car experience. The whole you didn't get what you want, you didn't book that and so on. Well, I'm so glad that this whole experience was a breeze. From the start of a last minute booking the night before. Also, it was located right across the street from where we were staying. Checking in that morning, front desk was a breeze. Just like second nature with everything going on now, they asked for our ID and vaccinated card or QR code. From there, you go upstairs to the parking garage to pick up your car. We were greeted with Carmen, and what a doll she was. From the start, the sweet greeting and friendly attitude was a perfect start to the day. Sometimes these places are stuffy employees that just seem to not give a crap. She on the other hand was a doll. Took good care of us throughout the whole picking up of the car. Small chit chat here and there which was nice. I honestly don't know if you are able to request certain people to assist you, but if you get a chance, Carmen was the GREATEST. Also, the car was great. The usual walk around to make sure that everything looked good. I've had bad experiences before as well as great one. But this experience was amazing. Fast, friendly and exceptional service. Price is still steep to rent a car from a major car agency anywhere in Honolulu, despite renting via Costco Travel. Frankly, any car rental, when accounting for fees, taxes, insurance, etc will be pricing in Oahu, but it's so worth having the freedom to drive at your own pace and schedule during a visit to the island when time is a priority. We came in for our 8 am pick up and waited for 40 minutes to be seen. We checked in online so it didn't take long for us to get checked in at the desk. However, upon going to pick up a vehicle, our payment and reservation could not be populated in the system. The representative was trying to figure everything out and it took forever to get resolved. They tried to charge our card again but we already paid for everything and had the confirmation email. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Long time Enterprise customer for personal renting and for film shoots. We even purchased our last vehicle from them. This location takes the cake in terms of customer service. Like most of the island, you get what you give. Respect these people and show them kindness and they will do the same in return. They open their doors promptly at the time listed, form a line outside but please don't stand there complaining about "I see someone inside, why aren't they helping us?" We stopped by the day before our rental to request an earlier pickup time which was no problem at all... arrived the next morning and had vehicle of our choice and was out of there in 35 minutes total. We loved the Jeep Wrangler for driving up the coast to Haleiwa and through the botanical garden. After seeing how east the top is removed and stowed in the trunk, we want to buy one! It was also great on gas mileage we took it to Haleiwa, down to botanical garden and back and topped it off with $25 before returning... not bad All in all, the ease of this rental made our trip to the coast a memory we'll never forget. There are alot of rental options here but availability is tricky. After trying different companies in the past and looking around this time around I realized that the customer service and convenience of this enterprise location worked well. I made a reservation and when I got to the office the process was easy and they explained how to get through the garage to pickup the car as that was a maze so listen to that part. Return process was quick and smooth and they were very polite all round from start to finish! The prices were fair but was lowest I could find at the time through a Friday-Sunday. Close to alot of nice hotels/condos, which is a plus and is a good option anytime I'm here. The building is a little run down but don't let that fool you. There are a bunch of good little local shops in here as well as a subway and MCD so grab some while you're here. read more

When I travel to the mainland I rent from Enterprise, and I've always had a good experience. For this visit, I went through my car insurance because my car was being repaired in an auto shop. Before I drove to the shop, I gave Enterprise a call to tell them, that I'm about to drop off my car and I will need shuttle service. The Enterprise staff told me the shuttle will be at the auto shop in 30 minutes. I get to the auto shop, drop my car off and sit in the waiting area. The auto shop staff calls Enterprise to tell then I'm there and I need shuttle service. The auto shop staff gets off the phone and tells me, the Enterprise shuttle will be here in 30 minutes. I wait 65 minutes for the shuttle. When it pulled up to the auto shop entrance, another lady hopped in... this lady dropped her car off after me. I told the auto shop staff I had requested for no one to be in my shuttle since I live with people have not been vaccinated so I did not get on the shuttle. The auto shop staff told the lady sitting in the passenger seat, this is her shuttle (pointing to me), but that lady was not getting off. She said, "I'm vaccinated, and I told them (Enterprise) I was okay with someone else being in the shuttle." The Enterprise shuttle driver had a clip board and I assume my name was on it, but she didn't do anything about it. So I said, I will wait for the next one. 10 minutes later the 2nd Enterprise shuttle arrives, there is someone already in there. So the lady got into the wrong shuttle and this shuttle in front of me was hers. I was so irritated during my ride to Enterprise and if there was a window I could open, I would have done it but the shuttle was a van. I arrive at the Enterprise counter and waited in line after a family. The only cars available were compact, convertible and a SUV. I picked the compact and just wanted to get out of there right away. I ended up being 2 hours late for work. I honestly did not expect the shuttle pick up to screw up that bad. The car had 6 miles left in the gas tank before it started beeping empty. For returns, that process was fast. I drove the car up to the cones, gave the key to the Enterprise staff. He "okayed" everything and I asked for a shuttle to drop me off at the auto shop. In a few minutes another staff came over and we both hopped into the shuttle (van) and drove me back. So, if you are requesting shuttle pick up service, make sure you double and triple confirm with Enterprise, so they show up on time or you'll end up late for work like me. As for Enterprise, PLEASE give the name of the person to the shuttle driver so they can confirm the correct person gets picked up. read more

Let me tell you about my experience with Enterprise Car Rental on Oahu, Hawaii across from the Ilikai in July 2023. It was so easy that it was almost scary to me. You know how when things are going right it is almost unbelievable? Seriously, the front desk woman that helped me out was kind, professional, informational and very patient with me. I did not get her name but she was really good at her job and seemed to like doing it. Now the woman that put me into our car was Lisa Marie. She was a beam of light! Her attitude really brightened my day. We had an "adjustment period" arriving on Oahu. Things are changing so fast here, or so it seems to us. Lisa Marie made me feel respected and valued as a customer. She did her job extremely well. She was professional, kind, courteous, helpful, informative and provided all the information I needed for our car rental experience. Okay, now on to the car. It was PERFECT! Exactly what we needed. It was like they read our minds. Absolutely incredible! We went our usual route driving up the East side Northward to Haleiwa then down the center of the island on less than $35.00 in fuel. It fit Betty's and my wheelchair (one chair) easily in the trunk. Oh, so that makes this wheel chair accessible! It just keeps getting better the more I think about it. Guess I'll be walking or biking to work.... smh. Got into an accident and geico covering my rental and I can't even freakin use it... paying extra on my Insurance for nothing. Expired license in March (yes I should've done it earlier but nobody could of seen this pandemic coming) and they expect you to have your updated license by the time dmv opens. Mind you dmv only taking appointments that are only available 2-4 months away. Dmv just opened back in June 1 and they expect you to have it renewed by June 16 when they are ONLY appointments and aren't available for appointments for at least a couple months. Makes absolutely no sense. 0 stars for people in need at a rough time like this. P.S.: Nobody wants your automated reply to every bad review, that's how people will realize you guys have no customer service and are careless about people's issues toward your company. read more

Truly impressed with this branch on both occasions we rented a vehicle (for a single day) during our trip! They had a vehicles to accommodate our needs at short notice, were flexible on the pick up time and just overall provided top notch customer service with each representative we talked to! The vehicles were clean, well maintained and allowed us to explore on our own schedule. The most helpful thing that made our experience seamless was that they provided a clear map of how and where to return the vehicle, as it was a bit different from where we entered the parking garage to pick up the vehicle. This should be a 0 star review. I am a long term Enterprise customer for more than ten years. This is the worst car rental experience. There are many problems with this rental site. 1. They only open 8am-12pm. They only check the drop box 12am and 7am. It forces customers to lose quite a lot of time. 2. They don't escort customers to check the car condition before and after the rental. It makes customers unable to defend themselves if there is some arguments about the car condition. 3. The garage that park the car is very old and very dark. It took me quite a while to find the car when I tried to get the car. It also took me quite a while to return the car. Do not rent a car here. This particular Enterprise location is located in a small shopping center near the McDonalds. While service was excellent and very helpful, their hours are very limited, causing problems with returning the car. On weekdays, they're open 7:30am to 5pm and on weekends 8:00 am to 12pm noon. They don't allow you to return the car after these hours because there is no key drop box. Thus, you're forced to find paid parking for the car overnight (because lets be real, where is there free parking in Waikiki??) I think the hours are absurd if you're not going to offer key drop off. The parking garage that it's in, does offer $15 CASH parking (24 hours in and out), but beware, you need to make your decision RIGHT THEN AND THERE as you exit the garage. or come back before 6pm before the garage closes. That didn't really work out with our schedule and we were unsure if we could find parking elsewhere.. but just know that it is an option. read more

i rented a car here for the day. needed it for a day trip to Dole and North Shore. conveniently located a couple blocks from Hilton Hawaiian Village, in a strip mall. staff were very friendly and accommodating. pricing was also better here than at the HHV location, hence the 2 block walk i made. the car i rented was clean and easily connected my bluetooth. very easy on gas too. up and back from Waikiki to Haleiwa, less than a quarter tank. and that's with me getting lost a couple times. the couple knocks i have was that their hours on Sunday were 8a-12p. pretty genius of them forcing me to keep the car overnight. i'm sure they're in cahoots with the hotels for parking. }:( my other knock was they charge for child booster seats. it should really be complimentary. imo. overall, they have a great prices and service and we'll be renting here again. pro tip: there is $1/hr OVERNIGHT parking at the Marina on 1651 Ala Moana Blvd. you have to vacate every 24hrs, but, $20 a day is a pretty good rate. it worked out for me since i was staying at HHV right next door. read more

Tucked on the second floor is the reception desk however, if picking up a car, enter the discovery bay garage and go up to the "parking" floor. If coming by foot enter the discovery bay plaza at the McDonalds side go right to elevator and go to the third floor, then follow the yellow path to your car pick-up. Everyone here is so friendly and and willing to help. I had my car rented through Geico after my car was in an accident, the process was so easy-breezy! It's so funny to think to leave a review about what went down at the car rental company but sheeeesh I had to. Henry and Keola were so welcoming and helpful with handling my reservation. I came in a little unprepared but they were mellow about it and handled the business quickly. I was especially impressed with the professional and pleasant manner they composed even as I watched a couple of funny lil customers act funny with them, how customers will. Malachi was the sweetest and service was quick when I went to the pick-up zone. The little walk over was totally not a big deal. It's already a little annoying when you gotta deal with a car accident, but picking up my insurance's provided rental turned from a chore into a surprisingly quick and enjoyable part of my day. I consider myself a good, if not great, customer. Fast forward, I am in Hawaii with my adult (30 year old) daughter and blew out my MCL (knee) hiking. I needed her to return the car on my behalf. I called to add her and was told I needed to add her in person. So let me break this down real slow: i-need-to-drive-there-in-person-with-my -gimped-knee-so-I-can-add-daughter-so -she-can-immediately-turn-the-car-in-at -the-same-moment-we-added-her. Hello, I emailed care two weeks ago and still have no heard anything back. But I've heard from the Damage Recover Unit twice and they still cannot provide pictures of all the damage I supposedly caused. This is "significant damage" that was somehow missed by us and an Enterprise employee upon return. If it was so significant we would have caught it. A challenging experience. Rented by calling direct and my wife made the reservation, asking what would be needed to have me pick the car up. They said both drivers license. Upon arrive after a 30 minute walk, the counter rep said that in addition to her drivers license, I needed her credit card as well. Told them we ask specifically what was needed for me to pick up and her credit card, which they had on file from the reservation, was not mentioned. I asked to put the reservation in my name as I had my card. Young lady glared at me and stated "It doesn't work that way". Supervisor finally interceded and did exactly that and we got the car. At pickup point there were 4 attendants who seemed overwhelmed by having 3 customers at once. Return went well and check-in crew did a nice job. Customer service, harsh adherence "to the rules" and blind faith in a poorly understood computer system lowers the rating. Perhaps additional experience or customer service training will help for this location. read more

My car was being serviced at KW Auto Shop, it seems that this Enterprise has a good relationship with them. That made my overall experience wonderful. They dropped off my loaner car to me at the auto shop and picked up the loaner car at the same location when my car was finished being fixed. I appreciated the convenience soooo much, so I applaud them for working together with other companies. It's one less stop I have to make from my already busy day. The day I had to return the loaner car, the auto shop said I could leave it with them and not wait for the Enterprise worker to come pick up the car. I asked if I should be concerned if I get charged for something more, say like a scratch (even though I didn't damage the car). But they assured me they do this regularly and never heard of people having problems. So, I decided to trust them because the auto shop had great service as well. In the end, I got my electronic bill for the car rental and it was the same price as discussed in the beginning. Thank you! read more

Their answering machine says they sanitize their cars extra clean due to covid, but I just picked up a rental and all they did was hose it down on the outside. They didn't even bother to dry the car or clean the inside. Since the garage is dark, it's hard to notice how dirty the car is until you leave. That's when I noticed the straw left by someone else, stains on the car roof, and just dirt marks everywhere. They obviously didn't bother wiping down the inside AT ALL. read more

We rented a car here for 2 days, we extended for another day, Sean was nice enough to extend it for us for same rate instead of us going down to the office. When we returned the car after just after a hours of extending it because the dinner we were supposed to go to 49mins away from our hotel, this nice petit lady was nice enough to just wave the extension fee. Everyone here is nice. My family was very satisfied with the service. 4 stars because the car interior was a little dirty, but one can do away with it. I recommend renting here. When one add additional drivers the company did not tell consumer there will be additional cost for additional drivers. After car is returned we got a call that additional charges will be applied. If you get your car at Alamoana but go to airport to add drivers to your vehicle, additional charges will be applied. Advance notice was not given until after car was returned beware of this. After having to file a insurance claim geico let me know enterprise would be where I would be getting my rental from. Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised with how flexible they are. I made the mistake of trying to book before my car was towed to the body shop so I had to call and reschedule which was very easy. I was also running late and called them to let them know and they were so nice about it. Everyone I encountered whether on the phone or in person was so friendly and helpful. The process was super quick too! The only thing was trying to find the place I got a little loss lol but the nice parking attendant gave me directions. I am so frustrated. I rented a car while on vacation 3/14/2020. I was asked if I wanted several different kind of insurances and clearly stated no. My paperwork indicates that I did NOT have insurance added to contract. However, when I got back to my home state and received my credit card billing, I had been charged an additional $15.95 for premium insurance that I never authorized! I called to have this removed and was told that they were sorry and I would see credits to my account. It has been weeks and nothing. Do you remember that episode of Seinfeld in which Jerry has a reservation for a car, and he goes to the counter to pick it up and they tell him that while they have the reservation, they don't have a car for him? Welcome to my world with Enterprise! I called this location at 1778 Ala Moana and spoke to Kevin, he confirmed I had a reservation and even gave me a reservation number. We agreed I would come pick up the car between 9:30 and 10:30 am. I showed up at 9:30 on the dot, but there were 2 people in front of me so I waited...and waited...and waited. 30 minutes later it was my turn. Why does it take 30 minutes to rent out cars to 2 people? Apparently the guy who was working likes to chat on and on about the various sights and sounds of Oahu in great detail, a great service to a first time visitor...IF there weren't people waiting in line behind them! Well, that and answering calls on his cell from his buddies and at least one very demanding (girl?)friend. So at 10am I appraoched the counter. As a longtime loyal Enterprise customer who had only good experiences with them previously, I felt good...and then came the surprise. the gentleman told me that they didn't have any cars in my catagory right now but that they "may" have one in an hour or two. Okay, since I have a reservation, how about upgrading me to another catagory for which you do have a car? No I'm sorry I'm not allowed to do that, those cars are reserved already. Well, I guess we know what happens when you give away the reserved cars, now don't we? Ultimately the guy was unwilling to give me a car despite my reservation and he didn't seem to care at all about it or the fact that I WAS a loyal Enterprise customer. He shrugged, waved me away and answered a call on his cell from his buddy. I went downstairs to National who was very nice and efficient and had a car for me despite the fact that I had no reservation. In the end Jerry Seinfeld was right...Enterprise, you know how to TAKE the reservation, but you don't know how to HOLD the reservation, and the holding of the reservation really truly is, the most important part of the reservation process. read more

I got a Kia Forte for 3 days and the total came out to be about $170 including insurance, and a 5% discount with a Costco card. Payed about $30 bucks for gas, and drove around the island twice with air conditioning on full blast. read more
