It's a rental car place in an auto body repair shop. Nothing to fancy. The car was dirty with mud when we got it so I had to listen to the mud coming off of it for about a mile. HORRIBLE experience! Jacob the manager is an incompetent. I was given this vehicle with expired tags and damages! Now he is trying to make it seem I damaged the car but I took pictures when I got the vehicle which they inspected lightly and that is why I decided to take pictures on my own. Also, I added the vehicle to my Eztag account yet this idiots are trying to charge me but none of this is going to happen. AVOID THIS LOCATION OR ENTREPRISE ALTOGETHER. On top of everything I asked Jacob why he didn't reply to my text message when I said I had an expired tag! ( this was a text from enterprise asking how I was doing g with my rental) and thaT IDIOT said this is an AUTOMATED text message and when I asked what is the point then on getting these messages he simply looked away. if I could give 0 stars I would. I believe Geneva was her name that was "helping" me and she was very clearly in a mood. She was so incredibly rude to not just me but others in the office/rental car area waiting. A guy came in looking for keys he had left behind and she was so quick to say no when a different associate said he knew about it and was much more willing to help. MY personal problem with her was how I felt like she was making whatever she was going through everyone else's problem due to her mood. She talked to me like I was stupid and I just had genuinely never had to go through this process before. I understand cars weren't available at the time I came, but I would've been much more willing to work with this location had I felt more welcomed and had she been nicer to me about the process. My advice for her and others in general: you never know what people are going through just be freaking nice. I will NOT be using this location. Taking my business to a different location even though it's further from the body shop i'm using. read more

RENTERS BEWARE HERE. I'd give a negative star if I could. Went to this Enterprise location because the body shop I went to had a pick up/drop off deal with them. I give the Enterprise rep my insurance info (ins is paying for the car) and he says all is good. Grabs one set of keys and starts walking me out to my "car". He tells me to do a walk around to check it out and while I'm doing that he quickly throws out "I've upgraded you, you'll like this car much better." Red flag #1. I asked him if this was the car my insurance was paying for. He said "Yes! Your insurance covers this, you just pay the taxes for the upgrade." I told him I don't want an "upgrade" if my insurance isn't paying for it and to just give me whatever car my insurance was paying for. The fact that he only brought out one set of keys with the assumption that I'd be paying extra for his "generous upgrade" that he never mentioned I'd be charged for threw Red Flag #2 up immediately. He tried to argue that the other car was "much smaller", which I didn't care about since I literally just needed to get from Point A to Point B. I told him I didn't care about the car size and again told him I wanted whatever car my insurance was paying for. He said "Okay, wait here while I go get the other keys." Then he comes back out with the same keys and said that the car size my insurance was paying for wasn't available so he would just "upgrade you for no charge." RED FLAGS AGAIN. I check my rental agreement. Says my insurance will pay for everything. I notice a $50 charge at the end of my agreement and he says that's a hold for damages since I declined coverage and will be put back on my account after I return the vehicle undamaged. Checked my bank account afterwards. Sure enough, Sleazeball charged me for the "free upgrade" he made me take and said he wouldn't charge for. Go to any other Enterprise location you can to avoid the scammers that work at this one. read more

Worst customer service I've ever received from a car rental agency. I rented the 2020 Ford Fusion for around a week initially, but due to complications involving my auto repair from auto dealership across the street, needed to extend my rental agreement. The enterprise and dealership were both aware of my situation and the dealership had actually credited a few of my rental car days. There was a miscommunication between the dealership and enterprise that I had picked up my vehicle from the auto dealership, but I received a single call, the only attempt at contact, 5 minutes before Anthony sends me a text message saying he's reporting the vehicle to the police as stolen. I immediately contact him back and inform him I can pay any charges I owe and have intentions on renting the vehicle longer. When I arrived and paid my bill, (still needing a rental vehicle but refusing to do business with crooks so eager to report vehicles stolen) they try and manipulate the bill, adding additional fees on top of the prior agreement. Anthony is the manager at this location and never apologized for accusing me of potentially grand theft auto. I rent cars often when traveling for work. This isn't something I joke about or take lightly. I do not want to do business with a company that treats me so poorly. I'm the customer not a criminal. read more

Perhaps the worst run rental office I've had the displeasure to work with. I made a reservation with National Rental Car. I called the local office to verify that a car would be available when I arrived. They told me I would be picking up from an Enterprise office. Someone in the local office indicated that there were cars available but there might only be a one car class upgrade available, which was fine with me. Instead, when I arrived NO cars in my rental class were available and I was offered a 2 class downgrade or a45 minute wait. Crazy. After expressing my displeasure, I was finally offered a truck which was not acceptable. Finally the manager offered me a small suv which I agreed to. No apology for the delay. If you don't have a car, just tell me you don't have a car. For goodness sakes. A bit of common sense goes a long ways. read more

This is the second time in renting with them. I used priceline and pick that certain location. It's ready when I get there, or they're ready to make it right if for whatever reason there isn't any cars there. Both times the car was clean, and very nice cars as well. They check the cars with me and I've never had any issues with any previous small damages. This time I got upgraded just to not make me wait, we love this car and will probably purchase the exact model. The ladies there & gentlemen are very polite and friendly! Having moved from NY temporarily, I decided not to have a car while I'm in Houston. This place is the closest location to my house and I rent a car every now and then to run my errands. Each time I go there, I am greeted by the great team. Sam, Trey, Tyrone and Philix- the whole team makes sure that they provide the best service as possible. They also provide pick-up and drop- off service. (FYI : Advance call required and I live within a mile from this location. Please check how far they can come pick you up.) I rarely write a review but I wanted to write one for the effort of the great team and excellent service I receive each time. They deserve 10 stars! By far the most unprofessional staff I've encountered ever. Was told my vehicle would be towed if I left it. When asked to discuss they basically told me they didn't have time, and I could take it or go find another car. The only option they gave me was to park my vehicle down the street and walk back. No follow or pickup. The managers name on duty they gave me was Kenneth. If anyone in corporate would like to discuss, I would be more than happy. Otherwise this is the treatment you can expect at this location. Within 30 minutes a Hertz down the road was happy to picked me up and had me set-up in the car I asked for with no reservation. read more

I only gave one star because I had to, otherwise, it would be 0 stars. I was in a car accident and the responsible party insurance had me rent from Enterprise. I was skeptical because I had already had a bad experience with another Enterprise location. Upon renting from Kirkwood, Houston, TX location, I was told in so many words not to smoke weed in the car or else I'd be charged. I thought to myself hmmm does he tell all renters not to do this? I explained ummmm I don't smoke "anything". The first car I was given had squeaking brakes so I returned it and got another car. After having the car for about two months as my car wasn't repaired yet, I was rear end and injured. I contacted Enterprise to report the accident. I spoke to Tyrone who instead of first asking if I was ok, proceeded to inform me that he was going to charge my credit card $500 and file a claim against my insurance. Upon returning the car, the person who hit me had accepted fault, and his insurance company they'd take care of everything. All information was provided to Enterprise- insurance company, claim #, phone #, etc as well as my attorney's info. Tyrone informed me in a VERY rude manner that he needed to deal with me and not my attorney. I asked him what info he needed from me and he stated the insurance info and claim # info for the responsible party-which he already had. Tyrone attempted to charge my credit card which was blocked but a few days later he did charge my card. This was the worst service I've ever received from any business. Started out fine then they exhibited extremely questionable behavior... I was involved in a car accident while waiting at a red light. My insurance was able to arrange my car rental for the next day so that I could follow up on doctor appointments because of my injuries from the car accident. Everything began fine then Houston experienced some extremely heavy flooding, however, my area does not flood and I am near no bodies of water. Somehow, and I am assuming it was a faulty liner or something, water got into the backseat and caused a mildewy smell. I called the branch to see if they could switch me out, now mind you, the vehicle was always parked and never moved during any of the storms and like I mentioned my area has never had a flooding issue. They told me due to everyone else having flood damage they couldn't switch me out, that was fine I understood there were others that NEEDED a car, my issue was purely smell, nothing was wrong with it or driving. Well a month and a half after turning in the rental I receive word from my insurance company (not even Enterprise) that they filed a claim on the rental saying it was a 'total loss' due to flood damage (this was truly a shock to me considering there were no issues with the car when I turned it in at all, and the timeline of the claim to be filed left a lot of questions to be answered). Needless to say I asked my insurance to look into this matter. For THREE months Enterprise could not locate the car. My adjuster finally was able to find out that they SOLD the car and a month after that decided to let the inspector come to look at a car they knew was already sold. Enterprise and this branch exhibited extremely questionable and shady behavior. I used to work for an Enterprise in Florida after I graduated college and I will say that none of what occurred was ever protocol. How do they SELL a car when it is involved in an active and open claim while my insurance was trying tirelessly to arrange for an inspector to come and look at the car. I have no problem accepting blame if the blame is mine to be had, however, their actions made me realize that I will never use Enterprise again. This is a warning to anyone renting a car, make sure you get documented proof pictures and everything... do not think you are in the clear just because you turned your car in a month ago... the fact that they sold the EVIDENCE in an ongoing claim is extremely deplorable and shows you the kind of organization Enterprise has become. Oh I ALMOST forgot the best part- Enterprise sent my insurance company some extremely poor pictures as their "evidence" to their claim of over $10k worth of damage but they never allowed an inspector to come look at the car.... hmmmmm read more

I called for a pick-up, and notified them I was in Galleria, wbout 9 miles away. She told me to call back around an hour prior to the pick-up. I called back as instructed, only to find out that they can only pick up in a 5 mile radius. They made me waste a day. The "manager" came on and would not hone up to their mistake, and make an exception to pick me up due to their misinformation. He just hung up the phone. So last Thursday I picked up a rental from this location around 10-11am. The guy advised me that the vehicle had no gas and that I could just return it on e. First off, why aren't you putting gas in vehicles that have been returned and cleaned? That's an inconvenience to the customer! Anyhow, I returned the vehicle to the airport (ERAC) around 5:30-6am and boarded my flight. Only to get an email 3 days later stating that I'm being charged for two days (had veh less than 24hrs). So I called to inquire. The gentleman had no empathy and was slightly unprofessional. And questioned if I had actually returned the vehicle that morning. -__- So by this time, I'm annoyed. Because It's been 3 days and I haven't received my refund of my $350 deposit, I was overcharged and I have a prick on the phone questioning my logic. Spoke with Mark who has issued a refund and again in my opinion lacked genuine empathy. I generally rent from the enterprise location at Hwy 6. However, due to my car being at the Lincoln dealership for an accident that was not my fault, i had to use these guys. I was met at the dealership by one of the agents who brought the computer with him. Great! Terrific! Wonderful! . He quoted me an additional insurance coverage that was well below what I was eventually charged. My repair was to take a minimum of 6 days. I took the supplemental coverage thinking that even if it went to 10 days, it would be less than my $250 deductible. The agent agreed that the 10 day price would be less than my deductive. I took the coverage, thinking it would cost me between 70 and 80 dollars. Unfortunately due to a MetLife Clais adjuster not returning phone calls or emails, the repair period was 22 days. Again, I'm thinking that well even at $160, it's cheaper than my $250 deductible Imagine my surprise when $500 was charged to my card. The price in the e-contract was NOT the price I was told. Lesson learned. READ everything, and next time, take my friend up on the offer of her second car. During my two planned vacations, I'll pay Hertz' super inflated rental car rates before I give Enterprise another dime! read more

I went in to Enterprise about 3 weeks back in immediate need for a rental car for my trip that I was taking that exact same day my car just up and stopped working on me and I was panicking and worried if I was even going to make it. Walking in to the Kirkwood and I-10 location I was confused on pricing and rates and specials a young man by the name of Trederrion McCray was so helpful and informative on breaking everything down to where I can understand what was going on. He helped me pick out the perfect car for my budget introduced me to your weekend rate (which I knew nothing about) and even helped out with mileage which cut my cost down as well I was so grateful for his assistance and he really showed his compassion for the customer which I really appreciated as well with me managing in customer service that meant a lot to me. I'd definitely return back to this location as the staff there as well their energy was so positive and welcoming I absolutely love this location and Enterprise! read more
