This is the most inefficient rental car place I've ever been to. I rent cars often for work and normally use Avis. However I used my Costco discount and attempted a new place. Never ever again will I return. First, the wait time was ridiculous. When I arrived there was only one guy working. Not sure why. I was told to wait 15-20 min when another guy showed up to work. Almost 45 min later...I was told their power washer was broken so got a dirty ass car. Not sure why taking it to a nearby car wash wasn't an option. He told me I could wash it and bring the receipt. No that is not my job. I am the customer. I expect a clean car. Then when I finally got the car another guy gave me a used car salesperson feel trying to sell me more stuff. I was irritated and let him know I waited long enough I just wanted to get the car and go as I was already running late because of their delay. When I returned the car they pointed out a scratch that I know I didn't cause. They kept my deposit. And almost a month later I received an email stating they will send me less than half back now so it could be fixed. No scratch should cost over $300 to fix. Extended my car out of pocket and Jasmine treated me as if I was stealing the vehicle when I told her I was needed to add extension. 2/27/25 i talked with MULTIPLE people other employees days prior to this about extending and up until 2/26/25 everything was fine till I spoke with jasmine. She began yelling at me over the phone and being extremely sarcastic as if she was a high school girl arguing with someone. We needed to go to New Orleans for a funeral tomorrow, Saturday. Secured the reservation online Thursday night for a Friday pick-up at 5 and got a call Friday around 2 that I was 16 in line, they had no cars and were looking for a car for me. They tell me I should also call back around 3:30. Cool. Call back around 3:30 and still no cars for me. Now it'll be 5:30 when they call me back regarding a car. We head over about 15 minutes after 5 and got there a few minutes later as we live right around the corner. They have no cars still and tried to upcharge us because they had no cars. I am writing this review based on my experience with the customer service with AUSTIN SMITH on Aug 23 . I booked my reservation the day of which is not unusual. Therefore, the car type I requested was not available . That's understandable. I just moved to Houston one week ago from California as my license has my valid address on there . Austin asked me if I lived in Houston and I said yes . He then proceeded to ask if I had an utility to prove I live in Houston. Why does this matter ? I am returning the vehicle to the same location. He basically wanted to decline my reservation as I waited in the hot sun (curbside service ) for 30 mins. He told me they are concerned with the information I provided because "people steal cars ". So just because I have a CA ID and just moved to Houston , you think I will steal your car. I told him this was no true correlation. I felt very racially profiled . I rented over a hundred rental cars all around the world and never experienced a service so poor as today with this location. Rental car do not ask for utility bills to rent a car !! I would strongly recommend NOT to do business with this location. Austin's attitude was rude , condescending and distasteful. He needs to be fired. In addition, I go up the street one mile and the gas light turns on. My tank is completely empty. I turned around and went back the store . Another representative had informed me that the company is waivering all gas charges upon return. The typical bait and switch. Well what I mean is the first time we rented, the customer service was amazing. An Austrian gentleman went out of his way through be helpful. I couldn't wait to rent two weeks later. The second experience was worse than horrible. It started with a phone call the night before asking if I was still picking up a vehicle. The speech was so poor and slurred I put him on speaker to use as a quick teachable moment for my business students. Upon areivWe walked in to staff playing around. Even though I had a reservation, because of the amazing service last time, she spent a considerable amount of time inputting information. Then spent several minutes discussing who knows what with her coworker. Maybe she was deciding how horrible of a vehicle she could give us. The door had a major dent. Three rims were badly scratched and dented. It smelled like smoke and it was filthy. She asked if I wanted it cleaned. Wouldn't that be standard practice for your product? They need customer service training and etiquette understanding before they should serve another customer. UPDATE: After the complaint, the manager went out of her way to accommodate the situation. Fortunately, this location is close to my office and, as advertised, they picked me up at work and drove me here to pick up the rental I was to drive to Austin. They were a bit busy on departure day, so my ride was about 45 minutes late. They were very apologetic for this, and upgraded me to a brand new Dodge Ram truck for my journey (I had rented an economy car per company travel policy). The truck was clean, it ran great, and now I want one much to my wife's chagrin! When I returned the truck, they had me back at work within minutes. Both on pickup and return, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable about Enterprise and its process. Reservation was made by the insurance company. When I tried to confirm that the car was available, I was never able to get through to this office. No one EVER picked up phone once. Therefore, I had to visit the office, in person, just to confirm that the car was available and what price. When I arrived, the office was busy as I suspected. There was one individual ahead of me so I waited. When the phone rang, the person behind the counter pressed a button or two and the phone stopped ringing. Now I know why I couldn't get through all day. When I finally got to the counter, I was told that the car requested was not available and that I would have to pay out of pocket (what a surprise). Being that my company has a corporate account and this is the closest to me I have no choice but to use this location. Last experience I was given a car with expired registration sticker, luckily the police officer that pulled me over let me go with a warning citation. Today After a 46 minute hold on phone to request a pick up I had to wait an additional 35 minute for them to actually pick me up. I am now waiting for the reserved car to be cleaned, they are telling me another 15 minute wait. Not sure why the purpose or a reservation. It should not be a 2 hour process to pick up and issue a car. Service at this location is horrible and there is always new staff, they cannot seem to keep them here. I reserved a vehicle about a month ago, called the day before to verify the vehicle will be there and I called corporate to confirm that vehicle was attached to my plus account after spending two hours on the phone to make sure everything was set. Today I came in and a customer was complaining because they did not have his vehicle as I was waiting for an associate. My vehicle was given to another customer while I was there waiting. As the transaction was happening I asked if that was my vehicle they were giving away and she said yes. I asked why and hoping they had another and she said no and I asked why they would do that and she said that in the notes there is no phone number attached so they decided to cancel my reservation and give my vehicle to another person. After I told her I had a plus account she saw the number and said sorry. She said my best option was to book online again. read more

(1) I rented car through my insurance company as my car was involved in accident. I picked this location as it was closest. I worked with Trent Rogers for my Rental agreement # 3N3QX1. Even though my auto insurance pays upto $35 / day for rental car, he tried to charge me $5/day in tax. As I argued with him about it, he reduced it to $2.82 /day tax. I made a call to my insurance agent, and after talking with him he agreed to charge me no tax / day. Still they didnt update my contact, and when I came to return the car they told me I have to pay $2.82 /day tax for my 3 weeks rental. On arguing with them, one of managers told me that they will take care of it and I won't have to pay. But, again 1 week afterwards, they call my wife telling her that they are charging me $60 or so for tax on my credit card. Why would they call my wife and not me, when I had my number on reservation? So, again I have to call them and argue with them to remove the charge. Really bad customer service where I have to talk about same thing 3 times. Either they are just trying to charge money or they don't manage accounts properly. (2) Trent Rogers told me that they only have Jeep Patriot car available. Clearly that was the car he wanted to rent out, and so didnt give me option for any other car. I was getting late and had to just accept whatever they offered. (3) I was not told that there is $3-4 convenience fee /day to use EZ Tag by them when they rented me car. So, I was charged this additional fees of $19 at the end of my rental. I had to call them to have it removed. But, I feel they should inform clearly what will be charges. (4) Also the car they gave me had change engine oil sign on since very beginning. So, I had to drive a car with this sign for 3 weeks unless I come in to exchange it which is not possible for me to do due to timings they are open. Only positive feedback I have is that they were good to drop me back after my rental to my place. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience. I feel they were trying to overcharge and I had to call 2-3 times to resolve bill wasting my time. Also, they were not willing to give me the car which my insurance had requested and not giving me any other options which is tough to believe they didnt have. Also, I got car which was not well maintained. I will not recommend this location of enterprise if you are trying to rent a car in west chase area. read more

I have been constantly renting vehicle from them every week since November. Their operation is flawless.I have seen 2 managers change in this place and all have been equally customer focused and helpful. There are a great bunch of people who work here. I have been constantly interacting with Brian, the manager , candice and joe. Enterprise have this policy of picking up renters from their location and sometimes when they are out of drivers , employees themselves drive down for a pickup. So sometimes they find themselves quite outnumbered in peak hours. But i have seen that they make sure they attend to each and every customer in the most fulfilling way as possible. Sometimes i just see brian handling 5-10 customers, sweating it out while all others are out for pickups, and he does it patiently , with a smile and due diligence. some virtue there. Pros 1. Great staff, cheery 2. Good options 3. Pickups/drops from/to destinations 4. Great offers 5. Well managed 6. Entertains urgent requests. Cons 1. Four Stars. I needed a car on Sunday and was pleased they were open. The staff was attentive, service was quick and the car was clean with a standard rental process. Two items that prevent me from giving five stars: 1. The fuel tank was empty when car was delivered. That was pointed out but not explained. I endeavored to return it empty, but I needn't have bothered, as they reimbursed me for the extra gas upon turning the car in. 2. I wanted to rent in Houston and drop off in Galveston. The rep said there would be a $50 drop off charge, but quickly agreed to waive the drop off charge if I would take out the $19.95 per day deductible waiver. I agreed as it would make the total fee cheaper, but since the drop-off was never entered as a line item in the computer print-out (was handwritten at the bottom) I am wondering if the whole thing was a scam to sell the insurance? read more

This location is shitty. The manager don't want to help me all he wants to do is charge me & also hung up in my face because I was asking for a solution. There cars DONT'T come with a spare tire so if you end up with a flat they'll charge you $100+ dollars and they won't tell you the car doesn't have a spare. I just recently had a few wrecks. I rented my car at the Westheimer location inside Service King. I would highly recommend Calvin. He is extremely professional and kind.
