So imagine getting a call from Enterprise after trying to contact the branch and calling corporate all of a sudden they calling and giving me a refund, after I had been calling and complaining and finally left a review, Yeni or Stephanie gives me a call out of their busy day, then tried to cover up for the disrespect from Hunter the manager which clearly is what he does to Black ppl after reading the reviews this is standard practice, anyhow so now they're so generous that I'm receiving a refunding me which clearly shows that they had planned to jack me for my deposit; but now suddenly they want to refund me my deposit after I was told for 15 days repeatedly and I have like 4 phone conversations recorded including the one from yesterday " I threaten the branch and they would like to cut ties with me ... not that they would like to apologize for the mistreatment from the Hunter kid but that I threaten the branch ... Mind you I work for a law firm. It's just comical I hung up in the lady face because at that point I knew this was beyond me and They were trying to cover up for the actions of the workers. I've seen it too many times in my line of work at the firm . DO NOT rent from this location if you think or believe you deserve a better quality of treatment it's not gonna happen here at this location, they don't even greet you as you walk in the door .. Hunter had the nerve to say he was making it happen for me when in actuality he was doing what he gets paid to do , he didn't do any favors for me never met him a day in my life until he disrespected me..They will lie to get you in there and have no cars have you sitting for hours even with a reservation.. The only resolution was to cut ties with a customer who not only worked for the company before but has a corporate account Pass this location up it needs to be shut down and everyone needs to be trained again.. Also be mindful this is my second time making this review and somehow it gets taking down.. They steal deposits at this location and if you speak on it or complain they say they no longer wanna do business with you but In the same email give you a full refund for what they tried and claim was used for extra days that you never had.. if you prove them wrong they will try and black ball you from renting from the company that's the Standard practice they use here at this branch. That Store is just to leave the review I wouldn't give them anything. The lack of empathy and lack of common courtesy is ridiculous by these people. I had a rental set up 24hrs in advance through my insurance after an accident. I drop my suv off to collision shop they had already agreed to pick me up and I have a reservation for large SUV. Hunter called me immediately as the reservation went in sayin I could choose between standard or luxury suv I said I'll wait till I get there for all that. At 820am hunter called me saying they have no rental yet for me is 930am ok I agreed to that. I'm really confused how no rental is Bayern the day before I could choose between the two. Call them back an hour later still no vehicle but it's on the way and we are coming to get you. Picked me up took me in the store said someone will help me. Out of three associates not one greeted or spoke for start eventually the young lady checks me in and say we are just waiting to find you a vehicle and I loose my cool. I address them saying very unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time I had a doctor appts scheduled at 10am it's 1045am immediately threaten me to get out and then said they will call the police on me? Call them! I canceled the rental called corporate they took my statement but haven't heard nothing I walked in 93 degrees from one side of the freeway to the other. Back to the collision place. They were upset they did that and said they will reach out to there VP at least drop me back off left me outside lock doors ohhh the foreign lady never said nothing until I cursed once saying refrain from that language I told her to shut up talking to me and they told me to get out. Hunter very immature racist as well as the other young lady the black girl who checked me in never said one word just looking as well as the detailing guy the rest were calling the police locked me outside and keep in mind while I voice my frustration I was never a threat I sat in my chair the whole time until asked to leave and I walked out on my own. The one star is for service. When I came in I was acknowledged. I came 30 minutes earlier for pick up and waited about 20 minutes for the rental to be cleaned, which was fine because I was early. Upon receiving the vehicle, there were no visible issues. It was already started up and there were no codes on the dashboard. This means who ever drove the car to bring it to me could have dismissed the codes. I took the car home and didn't drive until the following day. The codes began to appear upon start up. First code, the key battery was dead. I was told to purchase another battery from O'Riley and I'd be reimbursed with the fee I paid for the battery. This was inconvenient because it doesn't factor in the time or gas I would have to spend to even get the battery. Second Code, low washer fluid. Third Code, stated there was a "Malfunction". Oil light also appeared and the sticker stated the next change should've been at 42K miles, however the vehicle was about 54K. I was told they check the cars, but I highly doubt it because if they even checked the bare minimum, none of the minor codes would've appeared. The malfunction is major and it definitely wouldn't have been an issue had the car been properly examined. To fix this issue, I was asked to bring it in for a swap out. Unfortunately I filled the tank up, but received a text from their AI, I'm assuming, offering to reimburse the gas I'd purchased. This was sufficient enough. After going to the location for a swap out, the staff tried to hook me up with an SUV. I don't understand why given the fact they could've easily called another location before I'd arrived to ask if they had any sedan models before wasting my time to wait 30 minutes for them not to have sedans. The member helping me called locations after the fact and my declining of their SUV. I don't recommend this location and the only reason I went was the convenient distance from my home. The company owner responds to almost all his reviews noting they send an email to "review@ehi.com". I sent my email Tuesday. It is now Friday for no response. This is a location I would recommend to anyone whom is in need of a rental. Of course enterprise does their weekend deals so consider that for your next trip. This location is off 610 and Fannin. Very congested with traffic during peak times, so be cautious when driving and turning in or out of their lot. The employees are pretty friendly. And even though they always seem to be swamped with phone calls, there are never a lot of people actually in the store. That means every time I go they get me in and out quickly. Since my favorite location in Pearland shut down, I will know come here for my car rental needs. Another good thing is that they allow you to park your personal vehicle on their lot. A lot of locations don't have space for that. The only downside is that they close at 6:00pm and don't have after-hours drop off. I had a great experience a few days ago here. This location is extremely busy, it's located in the center of Houston. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and told I would be assisted shortly. There was one gentleman waiting before me. When it was my turn, I was blown away by the outstanding customer service. So I dropped my vehicle off to be repaired at Auto Nation, located directly across the freeway from Enterprise. They made 3 phones calls to Enterprise, each time they replied, they should be there in a couple of minutes, well it was 62 minutes to be exact!!!!! I thought it might busy, NOT!!! I'm getting ahead of myself, let's talk about the unprofessional driver that picked me UP! First he challenged the fact I waited for over an hour, he was in the car before me, opening my door, WAIT what is that! I was involved in my first auto accident this past Saturday. Since I wasn't at fault for the accident, State Farm suggested this Enterprise since it is close to my preferred body shop(Russell and Smith Honda & Ford). Enterprise requires a $50 refundable deposit and I didn't know about this deposit until after being picked up my an enterprise agent. I blame State Farm for not giving me the full details on Enterprises services before contacting them for a rental. State Farm definitely is paying for the car repairs and was offering to pay for the rental car service daily fees but no person involved in an auto accident wants to be handed a $50 refundable deposit after being involved in an accident that wasn't their fault. I reserved my rental online, and they DID pick me up. However I had to wait for an hour to get my car! They only had 2 people working on a Saturday and they had at least 20 people waiting. It was crazy! AND if you use a debit card you have to provide TWO references, and have a copy of your own car insurance, a pay stub AND a utility bill!! I was going to ignore the fact that my insurance made an appointment for me for Sunday and when I went in (limping bc of an accident the previous day) they did not have a car for me. Noone called me to let me know not to come in. I made another appt for a few days later since I was going to just park the car until I went back to work. I called Wednesday and made an appointment for someone to pick me up Thursday at 2 pm, since I did not have any way of getting there. The woman who made my appointment told me someone would call me before picking me up and since Noone had at 1:49, I called them. Nick picked up, couldn't find my pick up reservation, but sent someone to pick me up 1/2 hr later. The process once I got there was quick and since Nick seemed to know what he was doing I signed, took my paperwork and was on my way. I did not check the car for damage, I can't remember the last time I rented a car and didn't know any better. We just went in the car as He was inspecting it. The problem was that he missed a chip on the windshield that I saw, but paid no mind to because I was sure it would not be an issue. Naive little me. I called them the next Monday to drop off the car and to be dropped off at an specific dealership to pick up my car. Lauren said it was out of their area but that she would call me back and tell me where to drop it off. She never called. About five hours later I found one on Yelp in the same zip code as the dealer and went to drop it off. At that time the manager at that location (Joel) lets me know that the chip on the windshield was not documented and that I was liable! I honestly drove this car three times at most in the four days I had it. I asked the manager to call Nick and ask him to look at the previous contract because this must be an oversight. I know that did not happen while I was driving the vehicle. To make a long story short, Nick disappeared and allegedly the chip was never reported prior to my returning the car. I called the enterprise where I rented the car at about 4:15pm and requested a call back from Nick. Alexander picked up and took my message, I asked him when I should expect a call back and he said today... and here I am... Still waiting. I will of course dispute the charge, but one thing I learned is that you can't trust anyone to do their job, you have to look out for yourself. They claim to have fast and easy car rental... Reserved a car for 10am. It's been nearly over an hour and still waiting for a car I reserved days ago. They didn't have my car ready so i had to wait for over an hour just to get to have my car ready. Customer service is good. The attendant was polite. The time it took to get my reservation was just ridiculous. Seems like they don't start to prepare your car until the minute that you get here. It was a packed house with everyone waiting. And your car won't started to get prepared until everyone before you gets theirs..... Pathetic. When i got my car it smelled like cigarette and it was still dirty inside and out. Because of my schedule i has to bite the bullet and go Couldn't afford to wait any longer Absolutely worst experience from any rental place i have ever been through. Avoid this place. This location STAYS ridiculously busy, and I've NEVER had an in-and-out kind of service. The shortest amount of time I've spent waiting was 30 minutes. And be warned--they make you sign in on a sheet of paper to be added to the long list of other people waiting to rent a car. And they won't always tell you about the sign in sheet. They don't even bother to place it out front in a more visible area, or at least post a sign that just tells customers they need to sign in! Ridiculous! Sadly, this is the location closest to me, and when you're stuck without a car, you're forced to go with what's nearby. Unfortunately, I've been there a lot lately, due to an auto accident. Every time I turned around, they were calling me, telling me that I owed a new deposit or fee or something, even though I would find a new charge on my credit card bill just days before. They always seem to find little extras to bill you for, and once, the employee was in such a rush that she didn't do the walk-around on the new rental with me. Now, Enterprise is trying to charge me for a small dent on top of the hood(in the middle of the top of the hood, mind you)--and I have no way of knowing it wasn't already there when I got the car. How on earth would I dent the top of the hood?! A few of the employees are nice enough, but some of them still have some work to do. I was recently over billed, and all the super bitchy assistant manager could say was that I needed to take it up with my insurance, because "It's not our problem, we just want our money." They said there was availability and switched my reservation over to this location. I got an uber to this location just to find out that whoever i spoke to did not confirm and they do not have cars available until tomorrow. This affects my travel plans. Had to exchange the mini van that was issued out to us yesterday due to not being able to fit the car seats in it correctly...they allowed us to look at the 2 others they had on the lot and let us check to see if our kids' seats fit in the vehicle. To me it's not a bad place. There was a long line when I check-in, but everything was in order, so I can't complain about that. The only thing kinda annoying me was the agent tried to sell their insurance so much, even after I told them my credit card company covers it. But if you are confident with you credit card service, you can simply refuse it. Other than this, every thing is fine. New car, low price, fast checkout, no hidden charge, and they called me once to check whether the car went OK during the trip. Guess they are improving the service. After returning a car, I began experiencing a medical emergency. Not only did no one here help and I had to call 911 myself, but I got a "surprise" email about a week later claiming damage to the vehicle. I had to call to see what that alleged damage was... no one mentioned it when returning the vehicle and no one called me from the branch to let me know. I have been a very loyal customer for years. This location is woefully understaffed and the agents have no sense of urgency. I told agent Chris the car smelled like weed(he chuckled) but I didn't have another 25 minutes to wait for a second vehicle. The rental was arranged & paid by my car dealership, I was already prepared with my DL, insurance card and CC for deposit when I walked up to the counter, so there's no reason it should take so long. There were only 3 customers there before me, two were 'just finishing up' for 10min! When I had a similar situation 2 months ago I was in and out of Hertz in 3 minutes flat. rented a car the weekend of November 15 they held 420 from my account. When I returned the card they charged 147sh. So in total they took about 567. When I called two weeks later why I hadn't gotten my money back they said they had charged my debit card as a credit card and it was going to take a month. It is now 12/23 and I still have not gotten my money. I called this morning for an update and was told they recently had another instance like that this morning. So another poor soul is going to have to go through what i am going through now. read more

Absolutely horrible. They told me I could leave my rental car at Nissan since they gave me last minute notice my car would be ready and the rental coverage was over. I called and told them that the car was ready to pick up. The guy at Enterprise forgot to pick up the rental. Instead of calling me to ask where it was, they waited 3 weeks and charged me $1100. When I called to resolve the issue they assumed all fault and said they would refund the money. Now they're giving me the run around and the regional manager couldnt find time on his friday to call me as assured. Awful. read more

1. The car I got was probably from a smoker. It smelled so bad that my garage and clothes got impregnated. As they close early, I didn't have an opportunity to exchange it. 2. After 5 minutes of driving the gas was in the red zone, with a blinking gas symbol. If I missed it, it could ran out of gas. I don't expect to receive a completely empty tank when I rent a car. I rented through Expedia. My request was full-to-full. To make things worst, the rental car employee marked the gas at 1/4. Do not rent at this location. read more

My car was broken in to, shattering every window and stealing many personal items. I have never rented a car before so I was completely clueless. Best customer service experience of my life. Chris Adams and his team are truly exceptional. I rented a minivan at this location last weekend to use for transporting the wheelchair basketball team that I coach. They were ready when I got there and had me on the road in record time. They were also incredibly quick and efficient when I returned the vehicle. Right there you have a 5 star experience in my opinion as it seems to happen less and less at rental car facilities these days that you get in and out without a hitch, but this is where the extraordinary part starts. First I was in a hurry and forgot my filming equipment in the van. Would've been very easy for someone to take it home, or at the very least just throw in the lost and found and leave it to the customer to figure it out. They did not. The gentleman cleaning the van found it and literally ran up front to make sure I had it before I left. Saved me a serious headache. Then I got back to my personal car and it wouldn't start. Texas heat must've killed the battery while it was parked there. It's 1:45 on a Sunday. They close at 2. I walk back in, embarrassed and ask if anyone can give me a jump. The branch manager himself (Chris), with a smile says let me grab some keys, we'll get you back on the road. I'll spare you all the boring details, but we had some issues (all my fault) with getting it started. Chris stayed with me well past closing time, refused all of my apologies and stayed the funny and care free guy I had met when picking up my van through the whole process. Eventually he did in fact get me on the road. For him to go out of his way to help me, give up part of his Sunday after he should already have been home with his family, to work his tail off to do all of this (we were sweating profusely in that Texas heat), and to treat me like his long lost best friend the whole time, I have never been this wow'ed by any customer service at any establishment. I rented a car from this Enterprise location because my car was in the repair shop due to an accident. The other driver was at fault so the rental was paid for through his insurance company. Here are the highlights of the great service I experienced renting the car: 1) Enterprise called me to schedule the rental pick up. I appreciated how proactive they were. 2) Getting the car was straightforward. I agree with previous reviewers that you may have to wait because they're pretty busy but it wasn't unreasonable. Plus, I got a car in great condition (new Chevy Cruze) 3) I really liked the service reps who worked with me, particularly Nick. I forgot something in the car when I returned it and came back just after they closed to see if they were still around. Nick came out to meet me with my missing item in hand. I had a reservation to pickup my car on Friday March 17th @2:00pm. I picked up the car and before I could make it home the tire pressure monitor showed the front tire to be low. I stop by the Braeswood location and they put air in the tire. Woke up the next morning and the tire was almost flat. I tried calling Enterprise for almost 30 minutes before someone finally picked up. I retured the car and they got me into another vehicle fairly quick. Their customer service was great as long as you're walking in. The reason they are getting a 3 star is because they are to busy helping customers to answer the phones. They need more people to just answer phone calls otherwise get rid of the phones. There is no way they can do both when the lobby is full and give everyone the full attention they require read more
