Enterprise said card was now locked and I had to do this in person In the morning. I arrived in the morning and let the location know. They ran the card 2 times it did not go thru. I told them funds are there it is locked in your system. The person didn't believe me and suggested I call the bank which I did in front of him and the bank said they got no attempts on their side. I told them again the their Enterprise system locked the card on their side and the issue did not come from the bank. They kept insisting it was the bank and when I got upset they said they were not going to talk to me with my raised voice and to make sure I gave them the key because I was not allowed to leave with it - I could not have another day. My response was that I was not a thief. yes, I gave them the key back and now writing this review. In the middle of these events #2 below was going on as well at the location at the same time. 2) I called the 1-888 number and asked for a manager at 1-888 number. The person who answered was nice but didn't know how to help the situation as she tried to run the card thru snd it didn't go thru. I then asked for a manager. The manager typed in the info I gave her and sent it to the people I was talking to in front of me. Then she hung up on me. I thought being that it was their company they knew how to fix the situation. Not ever coming back

After going through the line a third time I had to go to the desk so they could pre-check if the car was rentable. Two days later car died on the road and they had to send lyft with 2hr round trip after refusing to deliver a replacement car. Would not recommend at all. Seems to be disorganized from the very top level down with few people knowing what is going on and items wrong at every turn. Management needs to get all employees on the same page.

I get it here, and the extremely rude, patronizing manager and employee inform me they are going to charge me $250.00 if I don't jump through their hoops and do their job for them. Then they tell me a car wash down the street has free vacuum, well yeah sure if you take your car through the car wash! Thankfully the manager there was much more accommodating and helpful than the Hertz people. He let me vacuum it for free. I took it back and was able to get my deposit back. I have never seen such a shoddily run company, employees who act like they're doing the customer a favor by acting rude and patronizing! I don't care what it costs, I will NEVER use Hertz again and will blast what happened to everyone I can on social media. They shouldn't be allowed to treat customers like we're an inconvenience instead of what drives their company and pays their salaries! I'd give them zero stars if I could!

If you're looking for upgrades, chances here are slim. The car I got was what I had reserved, but I didn't feel safe driving it away. The guy said I could wait for him to help other customers, or I go to another location and switch out the car. I went to two more locations before another car was available. Took me like 1.5 hours. I guess Budget holds a $200 deposit so you need a credit card and ID.
