So I had a reservation through my insurance company for a pickup truck because I drive a van and need the space. So the day I was scheduled to drop my vehicle off to Burnside Express collision Enterprise was there before I was done grabbing a few things out of my van. That's where the good stuff ended. So they came and got me really early because when we got back to Enterprise I thought a vehicle was ready for me to just get in and go, but oh no! I was there for almost 2 hours while people who came in after me, way later than me or walking out the door with keys. Needless to say it didn't end well that day and they put me in a minivan. They knew I was very displeased and told me they would get me in a truck ASAP it was just busy because of Labor Day weekend, and I could understand that. So they put a sticker with my name on the computer screen and promise to call me as soon as one came in. Well finally that Tuesday I called them and they said there was one but it was getting the oil changed and it would be an hour. I was working I couldn't do it then and told them can I get it tomorrow morning. He's an absolutely we will hold it for you. I said okay I'll be there. So I start calling them in the morning and I get no answer finally when I do after a bunch of back and forth and a couple more callbacks because they put me on hold only did not return, he tells me I tried to call you, but it said your number was disconnected. Well supposedly they had the wrong number. I don't see how because I gave it to them twice and it's on the insurance claim everywhere. Not to mention Burnside paperwork has it on there. So then he tells me it'll be about an hour I said well I have to go to work just call me when it gets in and I'll see when I can come and get it. Well at 3:00 this is 6 hours later I'm calling for the 15th time, not talking to a single person ever because the phone just continually plays the theme song and talks about how good they are and that puts me to where I am right now. Still with no pickup truck and a minivan that is on empty and I wasn't supposed to have to put any gas in it at all. So now I'm just going to drive up there and take my chances that they'll have something there and if not at least I can let them know my frustration, to put it nicely. I had a great experience with Enterprise after taking my car in for repair. Malik Reid the assistant manager was polite and courteous and got me into a rental that I actually enjoyed. He offered great customer service and got me in and out the door within a few minutes. I rented a van from this Enterprise location on April 29, 2024. The experience ended up being an extremely negative one, and I want to write this review as a warning to other consumers. Upon returning my rental after about a week of usage, I was charged approximately $225 due to the front driver's side door being "misaligned." I first protested to Gabriel Patterson, the assistant manager at this location, who was unhelpful. I informed him that there was no logical way this misalignment happened while the car was in my possession. He admitted there were no other damages and agreed that this could not have happened from a collision, but he did not give me a response to how I could have caused this damage otherwise. I also asked him to provide me with the pictures Enterprise took of the rental before I rented it to prove that this misalignment was not already in progress before it was in my possession. He never did so. He also had no response to how I could have noticed this damage during my initial inspection, as they had the driver's side door open the entire time of the inspection. He sent in the damage report despite my protests, and I was given a claim number with Enterprise's Damage Recovery Unit. After weeks of back and forth communication, I was able to file a dispute for this damage claim through the Damage Recovery Unit. I informed them in my dispute that I had talked to a body mechanic who informed me that the type of damage Enterprise claimed I caused - a misaligned driver's door - is damage that, if there is no collision, happens over an extended period of time through normal wear and tear as bolts slowly become loose with usage. In addition, Tamara Sparks, who works in the Damage Recovery Unit and put in my official dispute, verbally told me that the damage being claimed was unusual and would likely not have happened during my usage of the van. After filing the dispute, I was told that I would hear back in two weeks about the result and that someone would call me to have me restate my dispute verbally. None of this happened. I never received a call and did not hear back again from Enterprise until Patricia Stang, a different worker from the Damage Recovery Unit, called me to tell me that my insurance would not pay these damages and that I would need to personally pay the invoice she had sent me. My insurance informed me that they turned down the claim because it was smaller than my deductible AND because they did not believe that Enterprise provided proficient evidence that this damage was caused while the van was in my possession. The entire situation has felt entirely unethical and frustrating. I do not believe that Enterprise took my dispute seriously as the protocol that was described to me did not happen. All evidence points to the fact that this front door misalignment was slowly happening over time and that Enterprise unethically charged me for damages I did not commit. Please beware of unethical practices when renting from this Enterprise location specifically and Enterprise as a company generally. read more

Not a fan of dealing with car rental places... However I could not be more please! Had been in Indy for work, we had 3 rentals reserved for our group. The guy who helped us was new but had a good attitude while figuring things out. He had asked for help from a co worker which came answered some questions, but walked away with us thinking we would be paying more than what the reservation quoted. Then popped out a guy name Blake, who stopped to help the new guy get us individually taken care of! Keeping us at the same quoted price and guiding the new guy in all the right directions. Exceptional team work and fast service. Definitely love seeing someone help without being asked and treating everyone like a close friend as Blake did! read more

Didn't have the best experience. When I got to the lot, I was about an hour early and was told they didn't have any cars. So they drove me to another Enterprise in Plainville. I thought that was pretty ridiculous. I was not offered an upgrade for the trouble. In fact, I wasn't offered anything. I was given a Ford Focus. The car kept acting like it was going to stall on me every time I hit the accelerator so that made for a nerve-racking ride. I told the office staff about it when I got back. Then they experienced it for themselves when they drove me to my destination in the same car they had rented to me. I may use this Enterprise again but I really hope they provide better service next time. This is really a slow travel time of year so there's no excuse for not having cars on the lot. read more

I had rented a cargo van through another local Enterprise branch, when I was called 24 hours prior to my rental window, stating they wouldn't have a van and there was nothing they could do other than pass me along to this location. Thankfully, I was greeted by Brandon Himes, who went above and beyond making sure I was able to get another vehicle. Brandon not only found me a larger vehicle that happened to better fit my needs, but honored the price I had been quoted for the cargo van. He also called me the following day to ensure everything went well. His professionalism and customer service was so greatly appreciated, especially in a time of panic, and I will certainly be returning to this location for any future rental needs. read more

Terrible experience. Do not use the enterprise rent a car location at 7101 W. Washington St., Indianapolis. And avoid Entetprise altogether if possible. Enterprise's dishonesty and unwillingness to help us really negatively impacted our trip. I'll start with the most egregious thing they did. I called the W. Washington location at 7101 W. Washington St. to resolve an issue and the guy who picked up immediately upon hearing the situation put me on hold and never came back even though I waited for over 45 minutes. I'm sure he never intended to help me as I called a little before noon and they closed at noon. The only reason I called this location was because the location where we had a reservation said they would not pick us up even though they had told us they would. We had planned a week in advance and had a reservation at the enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Indianapolis airport. When we arrived to a nearby RV park, we contacted them only to find out that they would not pick us up. All they did was say that we could come to the airport and get the car or contact another location and gave us a number to do so. That is when I called the West Washington St. location and got put on hold. Then I tried another enterprise location in Greenwood, Indiana and all they said was that we were located outside their pick up area. Their major advertising campaign says that they will pick you up and while I was on hold for over 45 minutes I heard that a lot of times as well as how they are a family business and love going the extra mile for their customers. They do not do go the extra mile. And for a family business they sure have tons of locations, and there were no other rental car companies to contact where we were located, at least not that were open or that we could find. On top of all of this, a couple of weeks ago my next-door neighbor needed me to take him to enterprise because enterprise said that they would not pick up in our neighborhood. Again an example of their advertising not matching their service. All they had to do was be honest and upfront in the first place and/or have a system in place for and a desire to help their customers when a mistake was made and then I, along with the rest of my traveling party, would be fine with them and maybe even like them more than ever if they had just made that effort. But because of how We were treated and their lack of concern and lying in advertisement, I will not use enterprise again and I encourage you never to use them again as well. read more

We arranged to rent a Grand Caravan for a short vacation with our daughter and grand kids. The van was ready and waiting when we arrived and in very good shape. We liked the vehicle and had no problems at all. Turned it in at the night drop off on Saturday and received a call the next Monday to see if everything had gone all right. All the charges were as expected. All-in-all a pretty good experience. read more
