We needed to get a rental due to a car accident. I was picked up at a collision center and transported to the rental agency. After an inordinate amount of time spent inside while a fellow clicked on the computer, we went out to the back lot to look at the cars. He was carrying an iPad, trying to figure out which cars were available. I'm not sure why this couldn't have been figured out inside, as I was recovering from foot surgery and walking with crutches. I would choose a car only to have him look on his iPad and tell me that one was unavailable. It boiled down to a couple of available minuscule size cars. I didn't feel safe in either of them so I asked to upgrade. At this point, my foot was killing me from standing in the parking lot for so long. I finally chose the upgrade only to find "they hadn't checked that car in yet". The next upgrade would have been an extreme elevation in price so I chose one of the minuscule cars. When I opened the door, it reeked of cigarette smoke covered up with air freshener. On to the next one. At this point, I just wanted to get off of my foot. I took the car and drove down Broad Street. The car sounded like a toy car when you accelerated. I immediately turned around and went back into the office asking to be upgraded. At this point, the office was full of customers and I just stepped in front of the line and asked the guy to please call me and I'll come back to be upgraded. He never did call. We returned the car several days later to caliber collision. The very nice gentleman at caliber collision told me they contact enterprise immediately to let them know the car is there. In the end enterprise added an extra day to our charge. My husband has called several times asking for this charge to be corrected and for a corrected invoice to be emailed to him. This has not happened. He spoke to.Chase, who was extremely rude. If it's not taken care of today, we will call our credit card company to dispute the charges. We will never use this rental agency again! read more

Horrible customer service. The provide me with a near empty gas tank the charged me the incorrect rate. After going back in forth and providing them with documentation with they then credit me $165 dollars($336 dollars total). But 2 days the double charge me the same amount! I attempted to reach the by phone which is impossible. Drove to back to the office and assistant manager Tim just told me to call a corporate number to get a refund because I was backing up customers. Horrible branch. Horrible customer service. On Monday June 10, 2024 7:50am, we went to Enterprise Lansdale location and was greeted by Nick Lafferty who quickly guide us in reporting a claim with Enterprise and fix the lower hanging broken lower tray while getting us into a swap vehicle all within 30 minutes. I hope Enterprise as a corporation will take notice of Nick's empathy, critical thinking skill and most importantly his kindness in recognizing we are traveling as a whole family that are in need of a comparable vehicle size and getting us on the road all within 30 minutes. It was extremely impressive by his ability not to mention being able to be calm and dealing with a busy Monday when everyone shows up for their rentals. I was going to give Enterprise-Lansdale a higher rating but when I checked my bank account this morning and saw that they took $96 from my deposit, I was infuriated. I called to ask why was my deposit $303 instead of the $400 they were holding. I was told that because my rental was supposed to be returned at 12:00p, but was instead returned on that same day after 12:00p, I was charged for an additional day since they had to check the vehicle in the next business day. WHY, WHY is this not told to customers???? Nowhere AT ALL under their rental policies, on their website, in my rental agreement, does it state this. And I was not told this when I picked my rental up. I feel like I was blind sided, like I was robbed. This is very important information that should be relayed to all customers and this should also be listed somewhere in your rental policies for people like me that read before signing. read more

Great service, clean newer vehicle, and reasonably priced. I needed a small truck/van for a road trip out of state, and the Enterprise Cargo Van was perfect. My local Lansdale office welcomed my stopping by to check the interior dimensions, for which I was shown a clean interior with floor rings for tie-downs, and questions like 'can I use my own EZ pass?' (yes). Upon pickup, I received a 2021 van that was great on the interstate highways. The price, unlimited mileage, handling, and ~20 mpg was so much better than a 10' Uhaul truck. And checkin and checkout was very smooth. A shout out to Mr Eaton for his attentiveness, clear explanations, and professionalism. read more

Enterprise wrote, telling me to email them. I did so on the same day. I received an email response, telling me they would be in touch. It's been two weeks, and still no contact from their customer care. It would appear they respond to Yelp reviews so they appear to care, then do not follow up. On the bright side, I rented from them again, giving them one last chance, since my prior experiences had been positive. They gave me the class of vehicle I reserved at the price stipulated, picked me up and dropped me home after the rental. I'll upgrade my review to a 3/5. read more

Worst car rental place ever. They picked me up took me to their office. Couldn't find the keys to the car. It took 20 minutes to find the keys then they went out and found the vehicle trashed so I had to wait longer for them to clean out the car. They came in and handed me keys and disappeared. When I went outside in the pouring rain I found an older Kia with damage on the driver side. It smelled like cigarette smoke. I started the car and looked at the gas gauge it was empty. So now I am quite late for work and I have to get gas in the pouring rain. I called and asked why the tank was empty I was told that they don't have to put gas in it. He was extremely rude. For over a year, I usually get my rentals at this location a couple of times a month to travel for work purposes. I never had any bad experiences when it came to availability and service. I'm not one to post reviews for good service even when employees or companies suggest it. Good service is expected in every business that requires customer service. Worse car rental place. Put an order in for a rental 3 weeks in advance. Called the day of pick up and told the car was ready. When we showed up we were told the car check engine light was on and tried to replace that rental with two lower end rentals for same price. Update to my earlier review. We called several times asking for a manager even called corporate several times and have never received a call back. The deductible has since been paid as well as claim by the person who caused accident insurance company. We had to fight the $500 charge with our credit card company. TOTAL disrespect from this location. Buyer beware! There are other locations that I would consider renting from before booking. Reserved a Premium car and was given a Chevy Malibu. Drove it home and while driving, I noticed that the car smelled like someone had smoked and they tried to cover it up. I also noticed that there was an alert on the dash saying to Service the keyless start. The windows in the car were filthy and full of smudges. When I got home, I look online and verified that a Malibu is Standard size car, not a Premium. I called the local office and asked if a Malibu was a Standard size car and I was told that it was!! I asked the employee then why when I reserved a Premium was I given a Malibu? He said he didn't know, but if I drove all the way back, he would give me an SUV. So, I drove back and they gave me a Rogue. It was small and I don't think it was really equal to a Premium car, but I needed to get on the road. The windshield in the Rogue was full of dead bugs and the windshield wipers were sorely in need of replacement. I have rented here many times before, but I am not so sure I'll be back. I know Covid has changed many things, but I do not appreciate being taken advantage of! read more

If you want to be treated with the most incredibly rude Branch Rental Manager, then this is the place for you! I shudder to think about his staff if this is the way that the Branch Rental Manager behaves, what a poor leadership example!!! Let me be clear, I did NOT contract for a premium car... my reservation was simply for an Intermediate vehicle... so I'm not being unreasonable in believing that I should have been provided with a clean, safe vehicle, no matter the size or model. The vehicle was a 2020 Elantra that had at least 8 exterior blemishes/damage (ok, no big deal, its a rental vehicle after all), the interior windshield had so many blotchy streak marks that it was difficult to see through, the glove box had dirty, used dental floss picks and some paper trash in it, the overhead light had a gross looking dirt particle adhered to it... Clean is definitely NOT a descriptive word for the interior! More importantly the car did not have Apple Car Play for Navigation capabilities (what vehicle doesn't have this feature in the modern day era except for the most basic), the steering wheel shook violently at the speed of 65 MPH, and worst of all twice the key would not turn the ignition (took several minutes of jostling the key to start the car, we were afraid we'd be stuck over 300 miles away). When we returned the vehicle we explained these issues to the representative at the desk (unfortunately I did not get his name) to which he replied oh sorry you had issues, let me go check the gas and mileage... he disappeared for 10 minutes at which point another gentleman came to the counter and asked for our name... (this was the VERY RUDE, CONDESCENDING , ARROGANT Branch Rental Manager,). He simply wanted to check us out and be rid of us... he said the gas and milage check out you're good to go to which I asked if the previous counter person gave him our comments to which he said no...we told him that this was our fifth rental from this location in 5 months and we were disappointed at the Rent a Wreck that we received... my husband proceeded to tell him the issues to which he said "well have you ever gotten a car that was dirty from us in the past", in a very rude and arrogant tone. I explained to him that one of the vehicles we rented from them was OUT OF INSPECTION and we were questioned by a policeofficer and luckily were not ticketed, to which he said "oh". When I told him it was pretty disappointing experience he got angry and basically implied that I wanted some kind of compensation ... when I told him that he was being rude he said "are you going to keep talking or are you going to let me speak"... GREAT customer service isn't it. Then he very arrogantly said' "if if give you 10% off will that make you happy" to which I replied that I did not appreciate his rude attitude and that he was providing very poor customer service. I left the building and let my husband complete the transaction because he was trying to escalate the conversation and I was not going to be baited into an argument with him. i was cheated by lansdale enterprise. they knew i had insurance but asked me if i wanted additional insurance without telling me it was as much as the rental per day.i complained and they said they would give me $120.00 back but i had to pay the balance of $600.00 or more. they are sneeky crooks . beware of this business. i will never do business with them again. I wish if I could give it a 0, this is my second time going there it's horrible. I got to deal with the African American guy twice (he's rude) and he gave me the worst experience twice. He tricked me and stole my money and never gave me a refund at all. I called them many times they didn't answer my calls and the one time they picked the phone I started telling my story and they hung up on me. I swear I was shocked so I called the customer service and this place called me back right away. So the insurance rented the car for me cuz I've been in a car accident and I dint have to pay anything, but they took 150$ on hold from my card which is normal and when I returned the car and the insurance payed them they didn't wanna refund me they started saying that I had to pay for the car insurance and stuff which they never mentioned when I was at the place, they said we accidentally charged you but they don't wanna refund me. You can't beat it! My service and product from Enterprise was amazing! I was extremely frustrated with Avis and actually came to Enterprise directly from Avis. Yuliya Melnyk took wonderful care of me! She realized I was having travel problems not only from Avis but I was recovering from a broken knee and walking with a crutch. She promised me excellent service, picked me up from Avis and then returned to Enterprise to complete the excellent service that she had promised. I plan on giving Enterprise Rent-A-Car all my business from now on. The return process was easy and went smoothly. read more

i booked and made a reservation on line July 30th for a pickup July 31st, the reservation/confirmation number: #1639761003. When I arrived they said they had no cars available and that I booked after hours. I cannot Believe that the online reservation system wasn't accurate in telling me there were no cars available after hours or not the system should reflect the availability (all other rental companies reflect availability). I called, emailed, even tried talking to them in person and was ignored each time. i have rented from enterprise many times, but this specific location I would never go to again. They overcharged me $800 for my rental, telling me I signed up for their accident protection at $25 a day while my car was being worked on for over a month, but I never did. I even proved it to them with their own voice mail they left me, where they told me they weren't charging my card. I Emailed and called the store manager, who simply refused to answer. Enterprise customer service elevated this to above the store manager but still no response. Had to dispute the transaction through my bank to resolve. There are plenty of other rental companies and locations in the area, so don't risk doing business here. read more

Called the location 8/3 Wednesday to make a reservation for an insurance claim rental coverage. Specifically told the lady that 8/4 Thursday reservation did not work for me so I made a reservation for 8/6 Saturday at 11:00 AM (marked on my calendar). Went in taking a lyft only to find out that she made a reservation for 8/4 Thursday when I specifically said I cannot do that day. How does this make sense? I go in knowing that today was my reservation but I come out empty still not having a car?.... Why should I be the one paying the prices if enterprise is the one that messed up... When you are renting something, figuring out the reservation date is the MOST important factor and this person clearly did not know how to do that. Also, why not give me a call asking why I didn't come in on Thursday if the reservation was supposedly scheduled for that day? If i had gotten a call, maybe I could've found out sooner the lady messed up and maybe could've gotten my car by today by looking for other places to rent if today wasn't available. Very upset that I had to waste $ and my time to go in today only to find out reservation was made for 2 days ago- maybe check in with your customers to confirm your reservation for the future so that way you can find out if your employee screwed up or not. read more

they stink in my opinion. They didn't have the car i requested. They sent me out in a minivan ( i request a mis size car) and the van came with less than 1/4 tank of fuel!!!! and i lived 30 minutes away. i started my journey of auto rentals at warrington Pa, and ended it at Lansdale pa, so i could swap autos. At lansdale i was accused of lying, damaging an auto i had less than 18hours and probably less than 28 miles!, and was thrown off the lot after being bullied by a sales person who has no business being i customer service. the only thing they did do right was contact me numerous times after i learned about yelp, and boy did I YELP! ironically the only things I see are 5 stars. I do not claim to be an expert in the auto rental field. I am a customer. They learned that a weee bit late. I am still salty about it and want to remind folks, watch out for these guys! I do not feel they are honest. Heck. they are the only rental place i found that doesn't give you a topped off gas tank. read more

My experience at the Enterprise Lansdale car rental office located at 744 N Broad St. Lansdale, Pa was totally HUMILULATING!!!! ​​ Reservation number 1120278341 July 1, 2016 I was so excited to get the rental rate from a family member thru your E-trip link. My family travels each year to North Myrtle Beach SC each year. Over 100 members strong and they have also use Enterprise car Rental service thanks to Stacey, she is a wonderful help to our family each time we debate how and when we will travel, family members would contact her to assist us with our travels. This rental however interrupted that festive mood. We travel on our family vacation during the 4th of July week. This is a week that is dear to me and my family. Typically, the reservation is made long in advance. I had not rented a car in a while so, as time got closer to our date of travel the preparation started. I phoned the office to insure things would go smoothly. In 2011 I had the unfortunate experience of losing a job for over two years. As a result my credit took a hit. I wanted to be proactive so I phoned the office the week prior to my trip to confirm the reservation and ask what I would need to bring if I don't have a major credit card. I was told by a gentleman that I would have a 400.00 dollar hold placed on my account, ok no problem, the account was able to cover the hold. He told me Id just have to produce two utility bills in addition. On arrival to the office on the 1st of July I was then told that they were not able to rent to me because I did not have a credit card which could hold the amount needed for the rental. I immediately recalled the conversation with the representative a few days prior. At this point I start to frantically find another car. I then proceeded to tell her when I spoke to the rep on the phone he only suggest the 400.00 hold on my debt card to confirm along with the utility bills, he said nothing about checking my balances on my bills in addition to the 400.00 dollar hold. I'm becoming really confused due to the difference in the policy. Well then she went on to tell me that the hold is not 400 but the hold was suppose to be 700.00 dollars the cost of the rental and some other factoring. I had no problem producing that size hold on my debt card ($700.00) but it seemed the rules changes as the wind blew at this point. So I said to her I will be traveling with another driver could I be added as an additional driver? I was told that's not possible because The additional driver would also need a credit card to be added as an additional driver. Plus the 50.00 dollar fee for the days we rent the car and have an additional driver. I had been in the office for an hour already as I was lead out the office to another vehicle that the representative told me I could rent because it was less to rent. This is frustrating me more and more as time passes. I'm suppose to be home by now relaxing for the long trip ahead of me. Instead I'm being told various stories about changes in reservation policies, and how I should have had this explained to me before I arrived at the Enterprise office. After conversing with the rep she guided me out side to a vehicle. Note this car was a down grade from the vehicle I had reserved. When I called them on the way to the office an hour ago someone told me they had the car I needed ready for pick up. I have five adults and an infant there was no way we could fit in a Honda. SMH, back into the office we went I told her, on the way here I called to let them know I was on my way ( 1 hour earlier than scheduled.) and they pulled up my reservation, and the rep said Id get the size I requested and confirmed the size car was available at that location. The visit to this office resulted in me spending two plus hours trying to get a rental car, I am really unhappy with this process. Do to the credit card requirements , they kept me jumping through hoops so ask a friend to come and place the car on her credit account. We were traveling together to SC anyway and talked about perhaps she could do the rental (she's been renting from them in the pass) but I got the rental confirmed prior via E trip. The idea was I could rent the car on my debit card and let the hold support the rental. So my friend came over to the office produced her credit card then asked the same question mentioning that she had been a customer at that office several years and never was ask for this much verification for car rental service. We questioned the rep about the price for additional drivers, which was different from what she has experienced while using Enterprise.(several employees knew her by first name) Spending 2 hours in the Enterprise office with a rep rambling through my finances in a public buisness space was not how I was expecting to start my vacation off! I noticed while in SC that the cars tags had expired as well. read more

I just picked up a rental car from this office this morning 8/24/2016 and I reserved it via the Internet, which was very quick & easy. The staff there were very, very nice. I was in & out within about 10 minutes or so. The woman that helped me was super nice. The price for a 2day rental was 1/2 the price I recently Paid at a local Hertz rental location. This morning, I called to reserve a rental car for this evening. Being that I am only 22, my grandmother offered to pay the deposit and for the rental via her credit card over the phone or online. I was spoken to very curtly and told that is not feasible and was quickly rushed off the phone. My dear grandmother called to get a better understanding of why she couldn't pay given she isn't mobile and was hung up on. Poorest level of customer service. So disappointed. I had a horrible experience with the Lansdale, PA location. I will never rent from Enterprise again! When I arrived for my pick-up, they had a new employee handling my reservation. He swipped the credit card twice and held an additional $500. I actually saw him swipe it twice, mentioned his error, yet he denied his mistake. I phoned the credit card company and they confirmed he swipped the card twice. they spoke with him on the phone and he still did nothing to correct the issue. Refusing to take accountability for your mistakes Enterprise Employees? What a shame. I had to leave and go down the street to AVIS where I had a pleasant experience with a much better rate. It's five days later and the hold of funds for a car I never rented is still on my card. I phoned the office and spoke with Beth. She was rude and unprofessional. Beth told me she had a lobby full of customers and didn't have the time to address my concern. Do you not qualify as a customer when you are on the phone? Beth needs to understand the meaning of a customer...they can be live or remote. The highlight of my day is that I have contacted the Enterprise accounting department on my own since Beth didn't have the time to support me. Todd Summers, an Enterprise employee, also confirmed they swipped my card twice and is working to have it reversed or removed from my account.
