DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE! We scheduled a rental in advance as our vehicle was going in the shop. Paid extra for a rental "equivalent" to ours as we NEEDED a vehicle with 4wd that would be able to get up and down our driveway, especially if it was raining. "No worries" they said... " We got you covered".... pick-up time was schedule a few days later. If corse when we got there they had no Pickup trucks, as we asked for, so they proceeded to scramble for something different. They ended up putting us in a Nissan Rouge only because it was AWD. Lol, they proceeded to tell us that it was "more" than the truck we were supposed to pick up but they would give it to us at the "same" price. They said they'd call us when they got a truck. Still no call... Tried calling the corporate number... No call back. They could have called us BEFORE we went to pick up the vehicle we were supposed to get to let us know they didn't have it so we could have possibly went to a different car rental company. Set up a car 2 weeks in advance. Received a call, after hours, the day before pick up that they didn't have the car and it would be an hour later than scheduled. Fine, slightly incompetent but I'd manage. Called the day of and was told it would be around 2 hours late as there was bad traffic. I can't leave 2 plus hours after the scheduled time. Have the car in advance. Support was garbage, no one knew what to do, remedies were a tank of gas?!?! What a joke. I cancelled. Ruined the start of our planned trip and impacted 5 other peoples schedules. Third time the car hasn't been ready on time. Would rather deal with the airport traffic than this poor operation & support. read more

I'm an Emerald Elite member who has been using Enterprise off and on for three decades. I had a one way rental reservation for a couple of days to facilitate my move to Tennessee from Colorado. I dropped off the U-haul and caught an Uber over this particular Enterprise facility. Back story... I was 150 miles down the road in Colorado when I realized that I had left my wallet at the house. So far this hasn't been a problem - I have my passport, a photo of both sides of my license on my phone, and Colorado does digital IDs. Enter Enterprise and the wonderful self-important a-hole manager (SIAM (TM)). who works there. I got there just before they were closing (we ran into State Fair traffic) . The first representative was friendly and we got started working on getting me checked out. When asked for my license and credit card I said that we'd have to use the card on file and my digital ID. SIAM walks past and says imperiously, "company policy, we have to have a physical license" and disappears into his office. The first rep and I sit there for five minutes while I work on pulling up the digital license and insurance. SIAM comes back and the rep asks him we can do. SIAM says "nothing". I ask what I am supposed to do at 6 PM.in Lebanon with no car and his response is "not my problem". It goes down hill from there and I will admit that that I was not a model customer and dropped more than a couple of F-bombs and kicked the door on the way out. Now, I try to really not be *that* guy and as I cooled down in the Arby's across the street, I figured out what triggered me from zero to rage. It was the attitude. It wasn't that I blamed him for the company policy (though that's fairly dumb too - there was more than enough to verify that I was who I said I was (I had my passport, which is way more secure ID than a drivers license), and that i was a licensed driver). It was the joy in telling me he was going to be a big man and enforce company policy and making it clear he didn't give two s**ts about my problems. I can respect this was a bad situation from the beginning,,but a little empathy would have a gone a long way. Something along the lines of "Dude, this really sucks, but i can't help you. How far are you from home? Wow, sorry I can't help - at least there's Uber" "instead of acting like a high school has-been compensating for something small. (Al Bundy, anyone?) The only bright spot is that the folks at the Arby's across the street were friendly and went above and beyond on the simple act of getting me consolation food and a Jamocha shake (they have touch to pay and are apparently more digitally aware than Enterprise). And they have a much rougher job than SIAM ever will - makes you think. Anyways, while I won't say "don't rent from Enterprise" (they are usually better than this and are often the only game in town as far as non-airport pojnt-to-point rental goes), I would recommend avoiding this particular location and the SIAM dude who works there - he clearly sees his job as taking your money and making himself feel important, rather than anything resembling consumer service. I'll certainly go out of my way to never deal with this location ever again. *edit* I just realized that I could have rented a cargo van from the same place I returned my truck and it would have cost about the same amount. You can rent a U-haul (up to a 26' truck) without ever talking to a person and using just a photo of your license through their app, so this Enterprise kerfuffle is doubly dumb. read more

I needed a rental car and tried to remember where to find one when a friend tipped me about this one. We were in and out in just a matter of minutes, all of the staff was very attentive and really worked with us to find the best solution for our needs and price range. Upon returning the car we realized we would not need it for the last day but that was not a problem either, they just refunded us on the spot. I rented a vehicle from Lapeer, MI. and drove to TN where I ended up with a flat tire and stranded on the roadside. Initially after calling Enterprise I thought everything would be fine. Soon after is when everything fell apart. The Enterprise representative I was speaking to o on the telephone stated he would sent a tow truck and a replacement vehicle. Then after a short hold I was told he would send a tow truck but not a replacement vehicle because it would be unsafe because I was pulled off on the side of the road. Let me assure you there was nothing at all unsafe where I was stranded, NOTHING!! We were told we would not be able to ride with the tow truck driver and no replacement vehicle would be sent so we would have to get an Uber ride to another Enterprise location. After switching to a different representative a service truck arrived and placed the spair tire on the vehicle and my family and I had to go to two different Enterprise locations to get another vehicle. While waiting for a vehicle a full sized pickup truck was returned and I asked if I could rent that vehicle. I was told no because its scheduled to go out already. Throughout the rest of the day and after they closed each time I drove by that vehicle never move. The following morning I called the toll free number and was told by the Enterprise representative they had a vehicle I was looking for at which time I reserved for that morning. Just as I was minutes away from pulling in to swap-out my rental vehicle I was called by the location that had the vehicle and was told I wasn't able to get a full sized truck because once again they claimed they have them going out to other customers. I told the person I made a reservation by calling the toll free number and he told me they can see vehicles we have but can't see our schedule for customers and apologized and said he don't have the vehicle I reserved. I have complained for the past two days about Enterprise and at no time did anyone try reaching out to assist my family and I. This company is horrible!!!! read more

I bought a new (to me) car in December and pretty much immediately it had to go to the shop. For the last week that the car was in the shop, I found out I was approved for a rental car to be charged to my insurance company. Enterprise called me the day I wanted to pick it up to make an appointment and I went after work. I was surprised at the ease and quickness. I was told I was going to get a Toyota Corolla, that I had to pay a $10 refundable deposit, we looked at the car and gas gauge, I signed a document on a tablet, was given the keys, and I was out of there. The rental agreement was emailed to me. Easy transaction. I returned the car today and the same guy (I wish I remembered his name) came out before I could even walk in, greeted me nicely, checked the car and gas gauge, then came back in to show me that I was getting refunded my $10. I think I was there for maybe five minutes. My receipt was emailed to me. I can't speak for the experience if you actually have to pay, but my experience was very pleasant both times. read more

The worst service. Made reservation and couldn't find it. Gave them my reservation number and then all of of sudden it came up. They seem like they do not know what's going on. I went to the a enterprise in Mt. Juliet for better service. Also, waited 30 min before asking if they could help me when I first arrived. That was a bad sign right off the jump. read more

I set an appointment to rent a car from this location. I arrived right on time and had to wait over half an hour for them to "clean" it. When I finally got the car, I was already running late because of them--so I hopped on and drove off. I was supposed to have this car for a week, but i took it back early because it was covered in cat hair and cigarette ashes. There were ashes tucked in every crevice, most notably, the door handles. Upon returning the car, I complained about having to lint roll cat hair off of myself every time I got out of the car, and was laughed at. It was the weekend so the corporate office was closed--- I emailed Them instead. Never once even bothered to respond. So instead of pushing is, I decided to never rent from Enterprise again. read more

Was left stranded miles away from home by the manager. I rented a car from the enterprise car rental on 1437 W Baddour Parkway Circle in Lebanon Tennessee today I rented a car from them on July 11th 2022 and took it back two days later as it smelt like a dirty ashtray and when I drove to work the bumper literally separated from the fender. I took it back only to get another car that had not only not been cleaned but giant stains on the passenger seat and white goop on the seats. I figured that I would just suck it up until my car was repaired. Then on Monday 8/15/22 I got a call from the manager Shay yelling at me saying who was going to pay for the rental and that she needed to be paid. I made several calls only to find out that the insurance company hadn't sent the reservation #. I had the insurance co call them and give it to the manager and I also called the rental office. I spoke with one of the agents and gave him the number also let them know of my return date when I would get my car from the repair shop and be returning their car. When I rented the car they put a hold on funds for $1000.00 on my credit card as a deposit. Today I got a call from the recovery department who told me that the manager filed stolen car charges on me and I told them that they had my reservation #, $1000.00 and the date the car was to be returned the woman perjured her self and committed fraud by filing stolen car charges fully knowing all my information. I brought the car back to try and straitened things out and pay it up to date but the manager told me to give her the keys and that she wouldn't let me keep the rental and went on to tell me they would never rent to me again and that they were closed and if I had any belongings in the car still for me to get my my stuff out of the car because she was going to lock me out. At that point the manager left me a 70 year old woman in the middle of no where stranded. I'm new to Tennessee and the racism here is horrible and the way they treat the elderly is bordering elder abuse. I suggest this is not the place you want to patronize. read more

I've used this location for many rentals and have never had a problem. Always courteous and professional. If I have had an issue with a vehicle they have gone out of their way to accommodate me. I picked the car up and it was clean and full of gas. It was a Hyundai Sonata, not sure of the year, but it made me confident that the car would perform for me because it wasn't and older car with too many miles. The car was not an issue. That's what a Rent-A-Car should do, so that's why I gave them a five star rating. My issue was in the paperwork. Thy attempted to sell me extras (insurance) through the use of fear. I understand that that is where they make their money, in the extras, but the use of fear didn't sit well with me. Also, there was zero mention by the sales person of the fact that if I drove the car (that had unlimited mileage) out of state that my liability would change. Now again, I am okay with this being the case, but how about you let me know upfront instead of having me find out about this on my own while reading the contract. Of course it is my responsibility to read and understand the contract before I sign it but with the pace that they get you in and out of the store (partially having to do with them needing to get you in and out and partially because you need to get somewhere ASAP, I mean you are renting a car for a reason) reading the entire contract almost isn't even feasible. So long story short, the car was fantastic and I had zero issues with it mechanically. They did everything they said they would do. I would use Enterprise again and recommend them to anyone in need of a car. read more

I think the company overall is decent and the car itself and pricing were about what I expected. However, I have to give a low score due to the level of customer service I experienced. A representative called me less than 24hrs before my scheduled rental to tell me I can't rent a car without using a credit card. I tried suggesting several other options, but none were acceptable. When I asked the representative to explain to me why a credit card was necessary because I am unfamiliar with their policies, he told me it was to prove I was a "DECENT CITIZEN". He then proceeded to ask the name of my parents and implied he'd make an exception if he knew them. I am 29 yrs old and plenty capable of controlling my own finances. I'm a responsible adult. I work, I pay my bills, and I make charitable contributions. On top of that, I volunteer my time each week to teach Sunday School, and volunteer on various community projects throughout the year. I hardly think my use of a credit card measures the value of my character. Just because I choose not to take out debt for a car rental doesn't make me an indecent human being. Furthermore, if this company requires a credit card for all rentals, there should be NO EXCEPTIONS. Who my parents are have nothing to do with my choices and my ability to pay for services. In my opinion, favoritism is unacceptable in a customer service related environment and all customers should be treated with the same level of service. With that said, I was pleased with the rental itself. The checkout process was easy (I spoke to a different young man when I picked the car up) and the car met my expectations. I will rent from Enterprise again, but I will choose to use a different location in the future. read more

Convenient location and friendly staff. Due to the size and location, the selection is limited, as would be expected. When any issue has been encountered, there was never a problem that wasn't quickly resolved. The issue of cars being brought in from other locations is always a concern as the staff is "stuck" with what they receive. I am not familiar with the policy, but cleaning and mechanical testing should be paramount. One issue that should be addressed at the time of rental, is that bringing the car back after the time of rental may result in an additional 24 hour charge. That being said, I will be back when I need another rental. read more

I rented an economy size car for a trip to visit my daughters in northern Virginia. The hyundai elantra I rented got 40 mpg! The staff was friendly and professional. Check in and drop off was fast and easy. Kind of like my first wife. I will rent from them again. read more
