So I am posting this as a warning to anyone who may stay at the Nashville KOA Resort. We had a tree banch fall on our motorhome while we were there. The tree limb fell on a calm night and was infested with large black ants. It was over 15 feet long and around 8 inches round. It damaged our main air conditioner, satellite dish and smashed a portion of our windshield. Since arriving home we have found out that there also may be structural damage to the roof of the vehicle as well. This was only meant to be a stopover as we were intending to go to the Smoky Mountains and West Virginia as we made our way back home. Basically our trip came to a halt as we spent the next several days sourcing locals to help out with the necessary repairs without any assistance from the campground. We ended up staying 5 more days at the campround at our expense as it was not safe to drive (or legal) to drive the over 1,300 miles home with a broken windshield. The campgrounds insurance is not covering the repairs or our extended stay. Our insurance only covers the needed emergency repairs to return home. So not only was our trip ruined but our motorhome may not be done with repairs. The KOA's insurance claims it was a "healthy tree and deemed an Act of God. I am no arborist but this does not seem to be a healthy tree. Also, as a side note, we informed them that this tree was infested with black ants and they are still allowing people to camp at this site and have not taken the tree down. Please share so no one else has to go through what we have endured.

No cable, a dead tree landed on my camper, crushed my a/c and put several holes in my roof sent all that to the e mail with pictures and no one checked back with me too see if we were ok,my insurance covered it,.. made a new site reservation and they gave it away.

I really wanted to give this KOA more than 3 Stars. Have traveled thru this KOA twice now and many other KOA's we were disappointed this time. This is a very busy KOA. I called the office to find out when the Showers & bathrooms were cleaned. The lady said, if and when they need cleaning the team will clean them. I went to the Showers and was shocked at condition. Slimy floors, broken faucet w/single hand spigots that just twirl which led to zero hot water. It took trying 2 other bathrooms to get the water to work. I reviewed directly thru the koa mgmt about the baths and heard nothing back. I hate giving bad reviews, but this KOA Nashville needs to read all reviews online about the bathrooms. The good: The Park's location is quite a distance to the downtown area but they have a shuttle service that provides rides. Love that about the transportation offerings. They provide music and events. The office and grounds are clean.

Very nice place. They had live music by the pool on Monday night. This is a clean and friendly place with a small dog walk and well kept sites. We took a small backin site that wasn't completely flat and so it was a tiny challenge but it was wide with some tree cover and nice grass. I liked the close proximity to the city and even though we were near the highway, our side of the park was quiet.

This park is better than most but we expected more with it being Halloween weekend. They didnt have activities planned for Sunday or Monday which was Halloween. The hot tub and heated pool was enjoyed by the whole family. We also liked the band they had playing Saturday night. Bathrooms were clean but I didn't get any hot water. Laundry room had plenty of spots and the staff was nice.

First time staying at a KOA campground at 59 years old. Rented cabin 503. I have stayed at exclusive/expensive resorts and I would stay here again and again and 3 more times. The cabin was charming and clean. The staff were so very nice. The neighbors were unbelievably friendly. From staff to neighbors, I actually felt at home! If you have a conference at the Gaylord, don't stay there, book a cabin here. I have stayed at the Gaylord and this is better and cheaper.

My family and I went here for 4 days. 3 people in a deluxe cabin. They cabin was perfect! A lot of room. Only thing is the kitchen was a bit small. But huge refrigerator and a decent size fridge. When we arrived there were 2 dog poop bags laying under the stairs in front of the door. A little gross... The beds were okay. They were making some noises when turning around and during the night u can hear the highway a lot! Woke up several times each night. When sitting outside the cabin eating breakfast and dinner you could hear the noise as well. There was no shade whatsoever. Very hot to sit outside and not being able to sit in the shadow! The pool was good! 30 Celsius degrees and the spa was 38 Celsius. During our 4 day visit the spa didn't work. People also ate and drank while being in the pool so at the end of the day the water was not looking very nice. The bottom of both the pool and spa was dirty all 4 days of our trip. They have a little shop with ice cream that were good and okay in price. 3 ice cream 13$. Very nice on a hot day! On their site they say they have a gym with "treadmills". One of their treadmills is "out of order" and the other one is glitching when turning on. I tried to run and almost feel off because it was working so bad. The smallest gym I have ever seen. And I would never call it a gym ! They should really update their sites when they have machines and stuff that doesn't work. And also washing machines that's out of order. You literally don't know until u get here and see it yourself. A little bit of a scam if u ask me. The internet was working badly ! Kept logging on and off, all the time ! We were really happy to stay here! Overall a very nice place but a lot of noice ! But there is things they could really improve on! First thing, update your sites and fix the broken amenities!

This is what was rotten and hit my camper

Other than a cobweb and the air filter being filthy, very clean. Nice location. Close to Opryland and just 15 min from downtown.

Overpriced. Showers and bathrooms were filthy. Packed in on top of each other. The location is the only redeeming point for this KOA.

The KOA location was just behind the Grand Ole Opry and when we come back we plan to try and see a show there.

Therefor all good reviews are inaccurate and all the new ones are terrible but the Review rating does not reflect this. Many people are being mislead here, booking campsites only to find out about the change later and not able to get their money refunded. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. They would have to fire the GM to improve anything and what do you know - he also manages the KOA next door... such a shame since the old owners took such good care of the park. They decided to serve us an eviction notice simply because we requested clean water to be provided when they shut it off without notice, refusing to tell new entrants that it was broken as well. We went upwards of 10 hours without water for our family and they told us we had to BUY WATER from them if we wanted it - on top of the $900 fee to stay here for the month. We went and bought water bottles ourselves at a gas station to hand out to the surrounding families so they wouldn't have to suffer the atrocity we experienced when speaking with the horrible staff there. The showers are disgusting, the wifi never works, and to top if off they are refusing to give refunds to all customers who were not aware of the changes happening in the park here regardless of the reason.  Others have also had issues with staff breaking things on their property and mistreatment by the staff, and were also forced to leave the park after confronting the staff on their heinous behavior. The TN Health and housing authorities are in the process of being contacted, and if you have stayed here and have anything to add please feel free to contact me. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Allow me to tell my story in hopes of preventing this same treatment toward other fellow human beings. I return to my humble abode after many hours of dealing with constant complaining. As this is how my living is made, it must be done. To my suprise, I discover my window has suffered a fate commonly suffered by Windows. At first I suspect the children next door: Always outside, urinating wherever they please, with no regard for the ambient decibels of the park. Upon further inspection, I obtain information that shifts my suspicion to our landscaper, also known as, PABLOK the Projectile Propeller. When was Pablok here? I asked the registration office, also known as the Troll's Den. When this question was asked heads turned, and suddenly 1000 judging eyes are staring at me as if I just stole each one of their victorias secret catalogs from their mailboxes. He was here earlier today. Said the angriest of the group. Why do you ask? I respond politely. "I suspect Pablok has propelled something into my window during his weed and grass eradication process." When I say these words. Believe you me. I felt I needed to escape the cozy confines of the office. It was no longer a safe and neutral ground. I was trespassing in enemy territory soon to meet the same fate my window did. Days pass. I decide to solve my window issue on my own. In hopes of reaching some kind of agreement I reach out to the Troll's den again. This time via email in an effort to survive the confrontation.  I asked them if they would be willing to replace my window. This is their domain. Safe, uninterpupted, neutral, and calm on a normal day. I assumed they would do as they needed to maintain order in their troll kingdom. I receive a response. They have banished me from their kingdom! Left me to fend for myself in the harsh, unforgiving land known as Nashville. Fine. I shall make my way. Never to return to this land. Ive no family, and no ties to this kingdom. I only found refuge here. Asylum has been granted and taken away as quick as it came. There are several other kingdoms with far more diplomatic leaders in which to make my stay. I hope this helps in your decision making process. We pay for a place that should be maintained. If a small incident like this happens I personally feel it is the responsibility of the property management to handle. To automatically be told that we have to be gone by the end of the month is crazy. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. Do what you can to avoid finding peace here. For peace you shall not find. The trolls will turn their back on you as soon as they no longer profit from your place in their lives.
