Trish and the team here really helped us out in a big way. They were able to get us a car on short…read morenotice, and were able to pick us up (like the commercials say) and also drop me off again, with no hesitation. I would definitely use them again if I needed to. The primary reason I give 4 starts instead of 5 was actually on how the national reservation center gave us the reservation for a specific time, but they didn't check with the actual location, so the local office had to call us to let us know they didn't have a car for us at the time the national chain had reserved it for, and we had to wait a bit for a car to become available. Fortunately for us, we had some flexibility as to when we needed the car, so it worked out OK, but lesson here is to call the local office rather than the national number when possible. This is probably not Enterprise specific, and would apply to most agencies.

Had reserved a car online 10/6/24 to pu on Mon 10/7/24....received a call sun that none were…read moreavailable ....an agent from the n Conway nh branch stated to me that she wasn't sure how I was able to get a reservation because they had none available. We had already been warned by a local dealer that that was going to be a possibility .,,,that he had heard that enterprise in N Conway never had cars available. People would make reservations ...go to pick it up and they wouldn't have it. For a nationwide car rental business....this was unbelievable! We live in Maryland and we were in the area on vacation and our car had to be towed in for an unexpected repair. We didn't know if we would need to leave it there to get a part in and come back to New Hampshire to pick it up ...which meant we needed to rent a car to get us home in Maryland. It was very scary not knowing how we were going to be able to do that other than to find a ride to an international airport. This area is in desperate need to have stock availability and possibly an emergency # for weekends. The breakdown occurred on a sat and thank goodness for an "earth angel". We were 40 minutes away from Conway up in the woods and she offered us to use her car to get us back to the place we were staying and helped us contact a towing company for our car. She also had heard that enterprise usually didn't have cars available. They are the only company in Conway that offers rentals besides the dealers that only do local rentals for cars that they are repairing. I told the young lady that had called me that I was not upset with her, but her job had to be most difficult ....having to call people and give them this bad news. The funny thing is ....this enterprise is located at the local Chevy dealer. I usually don't bother writing this kind of thing but wanted to make you aware of the situation at this branch. The manager needs to understand that when a client is in this sort of situation, they cannot wait "Two weeks" for a car. That's right "two weeks!" that's what I was told on the phone of when a car would be available. There is a saying: " put yourself in that person's shoes" and realize what it feels like to not be able to have something available Has been an enterprise customer for trips in the past and I've always been most pleased. This really made us wonder where customer service has gone?

these people are the biggest shit weasels in the world. I dropped off a car they came out inspected…read moreit and now almost 2 weeks later they are saying there is damage to the car. they didn't put in the claim till 5 days after and not even at the Enterprise that I dropped it off at. The claim was put in at there Burlington location. so one of their employees or someone at their lot damages the car and they blame the person who dropped it off 5 days earlier. I hope they understand insurance fraud is a federal offense and I am going after them. After calling Vermont, the person who I talked to laughed at me when I told him putting in a false claim is a federal offense (mail fraud and racketeering). I then went to the Marborough Office who The Vermont office blamed for the damage saying" if they didn't brush off where there was damage and didn't note it ,it's not Enterprises fault." They had brushed it off. I stopped 4 places on my way to Vermont( home, gas station, a rest area, where I was going in Vt.) At no point was I away from this car for longer than 2 minutes and in each case the car was in my full View except the rest stop for literally one minute. I picked up the car at 9:00 and dropped it off at the Enterprise in Morrisville about 3:30. The 1 employee there came out walked around the car and then read the gas meter. The car was nose in so this "damage" would have been seen immediately. When I talked to the Marlborough office according to their report the whole bumper was damaged. Again not when I and the employee walked out to the car. Another thing about this Enterprise. It is in the same building as an auto body shop. Lining the unpaved Icy driveway are wrecked cars and the parking area for Enterprise is in that same area not separated. Again they say for five days nobody saw this damage until they put it through a car wash in Burlington. About that....Anyone who owns a large SUV such as an Escalade or Suburban especially if it has bumper sensors knows (because it says in the manual) that they should not be put through a car wash because of damage to the bumper sensors. Maybe the vermont Employees do not require reading as skill neccesaryf or their job. I have no doubt in my mind that One of the employees of Enterprise or the Auto body shop damaged the car then the Enterprise Employees covered it up.

For anyone who's car has broken down you know how frustrating and nerve wrecking it can be, waiting…read morefor the tow truck, then left with no vehicle to use in the meantime, mind wandering how much this is all going to cost?!?!? Well Joe at Jeep swooped in to save the day. From the first call to see if they could take my car, to keeping me updated every step of the way, got me a rental as soon as he had one available, the whole experience was great. The communication every step of the process was clear, Joe always answered or called me right back when I had a question. If you have a Jeep and find yourself in the north country with car troubles, Joe is the man!!! Thanks Crosstown!!!

I brought my vehicle to Crosstown because my panoramic moonroof was stuck open during an emergency…read moresituation and needed to be closed immediately. I dropped the car off at 12:00 PM on 4/15 and was quoted 1-2 hours of labor totaling around $500. I specifically asked if there was any way to manually close it, and Shane told me no--that on this type of roof it could break the glass, and the only option was to remove the roof completely and reinstall it. Based on that information, I agreed to the service. Communication was poor from the start. I called before closing for an update and no one would give me clear information. After receiving multiple call backs within 20 minutes, someone finally let it slip that my car had not even been looked at yet and that a glass company had been contacted, with no further explanation. The next morning, while dealing with a broken foot and a hospital appointment, I again asked for an update and waited hours with no response. Around noon, I called and was told the roof had been looked at and was "impossible" to close. I was then quoted over $2,400 in parts plus additional labor fees. I told them to stop immediately and asked what my bill was. I was told $437 despite no resolution. For legal & insurance purposes I requested that it be put into writing a manual closure was refused. Shane refused to document that and then claimed manual closure was attempted, despite the fact I was originally told manual closure was not an option because it could break the glass..... which lead to my approval of the $500 quote. After a frustrating discussion, the manager offered a "discount," saying I would pay $218 that day and return later to pay the rest if another shop could not close it. I then brought the vehicle to the Berlin City dealership, where I purchased the car. They confidently agreed they would close the roof and quoted up to $250 depending on labor time. I dropped the car off, and it was ready for pickup about 3 hours later. The actual service took 1 hour, the roof was fully closed, and the final bill was only $169. I immediately returned to Crosstown with the closed vehicle and Berlin City's service paperwork. The manager came out right away, asked how Berlin City had closed the roof while holding paperwork that clearly stated exactly what was done, and then claimed Crosstown had tried the same thing. However, that statement did not align with the paperwork I had been given by Crosstown, which did not document that procedure or a successful closure attempt. Within less than 5 minutes of arriving, management refunded me in full. I appreciate that the refund was ultimately issued, but this experience caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time having a broken foot. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend customers get clear documentation, firm pricing, and detailed explanations before authorizing work here, if at all. I would absolutely never recommend this establishment to anyone after my experience.
