* Review from August 2025 * My husband and I had a great time on this tour! I thought our guides were very friendly and informative. Yes, you do travel the same roads all night but there's very good reason for that and the guides explained it to us. Maybe I'd feel differently about that if our tour hadn't been successful? However, I know they can't guarantee sightings and the reasoning for traveling the same areas made sense to me. We were able to see twins!! It was so cool, especially as a couple from the far south being tourists in the northern US for the first time! I also didn't feel like there was much else to do in the area at this time of night so you might as well go moose tracking! Make sure that you're there at the time they tell you to be for check in. At check in, you receive a card and that determines the order in which you board the bus. So, if you care about choosing your seat, you'll want to be there on time for a good boarding spot. read more

This tour was a joke...sorry guys! The guys were nice but it cost us $95 (and another $95 for my son and his gf) and they literally went up and down the sameeee couple roads all night. There was a stop at a convenience store in the middle. Convenience store was really nice (probably the highlight of the trip honestly) but they kept telling us over and over to thank the convenience store for staying open for us. Of course we were thankful but come on, they made out too since most of us bought something there and that's where the bus got its gas. Not only that, but if there wasn't a stop mid-way, we never would have took the tour. So why don't YOU thank the convenience store for staying open for YOUR tour? Also, maybe tell everyone once, not over and over like we are children??? We never saw any moose and although they state they have a 90% success rate (highly doubt that) and there's a chance you won't see any, in my opinion, they (as a business) should have offered us something. It didn't have to be money. It could have been a 50% off ticket for another tour or anything really. Think of it this way, we'll never be back. We live in MA and go to the White Mountains often. Someone asks us...we say...oh no, don't do that tour. Boom...you lost even more business. Not my problem but as a business, you might want to think through your policy's. There's not a person in the world who wants to spend $95 per couple to go on a tour of the same two or three streets for 3 1/2 hours and see nothing! The kicker was at the end when they had the gall to ask for a tip and put a flashing red sign that says something like, no tip is too big. Are you even kidding me???? Nice guys but maybe should think about their business model. Very important to know, you are NOT guaranteed to even be able to sit with your person or people you go with. Ridiculous! Also, supposedly doing this for years (I forget the exact amount but 30 plus comes to mind), and you don't know when the moose will come out (type of conditions) or do a little drive by before the tour? If we saw a moose, I'd feel the same way but at least I'd feel like I got something for my money. Meh...wasn't impressed. Don't waste your money and just go do the drive yourself. There's lots of maps on where to see moose in the area. We would have done this as well but thought we'd have better luck with the so called "experts" read more

Saw 7 moose including a baby and one bull. We loved the jokes and humor of the guides. The people on the bus.... Not so much. Please be quiet!!! Overall VERY successful tour, highly recommended! read more

The tour was ok but the business is a crap show. I purchased tickets for me and my two kids. We arrived on time and were given a card indicating when we would board. Our card, #11, would board last. I was told there were no assurances I would be able to sit with my kids as we would get whatever is left. As we boarded the bus, we walked down the aisle, looking for available seats...there were two seats left toward the back where my kids sat together but that was it. All seats were taken. The owner apologized and said that two people must have boarded without tickets. He then asked me to come back tomorrow rather than try and find out who did not have tickets to board the bus. I told him we had planned our entire day around this trip and I would not be able to return tomorrow. He then shrugged the shoulders like we were out of luck...not his problem. There was an elderly couple that saw this transpire and offered to give up there two seats and come back the next day so that I could ride with my kids on the tour. As much as I didn't want to pass on my problems to them, I graciously accepted their offer. I think it's disgusting that the owner of the company would rather allow two people with no tickets on board and screw up an entire day for paying customers than to take the time to find out who was on the bus that didn't have tickets. I don't understand why they just don't check tickets as people board. The way they line everyone up to enter the bus, anyone can jump in line and no one would know. This experience ruined the night for me. Yes, we saw a couple of moose roadside on the three hour tour but the way they run their company, I would find another tour that would make a point to allow you to sit with your children and your tickets that you paid for is actually yours for the night not some freeloader who is rewarded and gets away with taking your seat. read more

To be honest I didn't have the highest expectations or hopes going into this.. but wow was my mind changed. This tour was awesome! The guides Larry and Eric made this tour so enjoyable. Their corny comedy really hit the spot and you could tell they truly enjoyed doing these tours. There were informative videos, giveaways, jokes, songs, a pit stop to get delicious fudge at a cute little trading post. Oh and the best part an actual MOOSE. Yes, we got to see a moose and I couldn't be happier. Also shout out to the guides giving the boot to an obnoxious drunk broad on our tour. They give people realistic expectations (it's nature.. you can't force it), but with their years of expertise, knowledge of the area, and keen eyes, they try their best to deliver. Went from wallow to wallow. Floodlights on. Night vision eyes open. We were quiet as we could be. Moved slowly. Didn't harass. For they run over 35 miles per hour, and They can be quite moody. 1800 tours between our two tour guides. They were cracking jokes all the way. Moose crossings everywhere. But no moose tonight. Much better than I expected I'll be honest. To start out the night was saw a set of twins within the first 15 min or so and total about 7 different moose. Some we even got out the bus to see a lil closer and one legit put on a show for us, walking along the road then crossed the street casually and walked on the other side, it was a sight to see read more

The tour itself is fun--guides are funny and knowledgeable. I could not give more than 3 stars because the bus (bus #3) was so uncomfortable. The seats are more cramped than an airplane! My knees (I'm 5'7") were smashed into the seat in front of me. One of our seats was so uncomfortable we kept switching--the cushions were shot and we could feel the bars, and it's a 4-hour ride! Not every seat has a seatbelt, so you'll have to decide who in your group is worthy and who is your weakest link. They definitely want to squeeze in as many people as they can, and the seats need renovation. read more

The staff on this tour were great. We were fortunate enough to see a couple of Moose, a cow and her calf, as well as a quick glimpse of a bear and a Fox before they farted back into the forest. The staff were very knowledgeable and entertaining, while being upfront about the results of previous trips and the unpredictability of the wild Moose. Overall it was a very informative and fun tour, you can tell the amount of passion that they staff puts into it! read more

We were also lucky enough to see six moose and it was great, both the driver as well as the guide dis an amazing job at spotting them and they were both so entertaining and made the trip so much fun! The tour guide and driver were great guys who did their best to entertain about 50 kids/adults who wanted to see a moose. We went up and down highway roads for 4 hours looking to no avail. The cartoons, songs, videos abd jokes were appreciated, but not really worth the cost if you see no wildlife. These guys really tried for us and felt bad. They did discuss the moose population going from 7000 to 3000 due to late snows and the winter tics. I cannot help but wonder if the dwindling population affects their number of sightings. read more

It was a dark and stormy night and we were a'huntin' for moose. And sure enough we saw them. Now I can totally understand that if you don't see any moose how frustrating that would be. It was an exercise in patience to be sure. We were out for a long time (over 3 hours) and it's not exactly an early night. But boy was it worth it when we saw one! I would like to think my good looks and winning personality got me the seat next to the driver up front, but in reality it was because I was a solo traveler. But what a great seat it was! I had basically my own windows! I didn't have to wait for anyone else to sit down so that I could take a picture! But that little tidbit won't apply to 99% of you, so ignore it. They were fantastic at keeping us entertained during those long hours, and when the hours got REALLY long we were showed Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons. You could tell they really cared about showing us moose and really didn't quit trying. Sometimes we searched the same stretch of road over and over until they decided that there were no animals. The bear wasn't out that night unfortunately either but no biggie. I would definitely recommend this tour. I might be a little biased because as a business traveler the one thing you can always get me to do is go to nature preserves etc. Otherwise I'm less inclined to leave the hotel room because I'm too tired. All in all, I can assure you that everyone at home is stupid jealous of me seeing a moose. p.s. Thank you for giving me a shout out for my show the next day. This was a great tour even though we didn't see any moose. It was explained to us ahead of time that there was no guarentee to see moose though they had s 94% sighting rate. The tour guides were excellent and were very informative. They were entertaining as well with jokes and funny songs giving away door prizes during the trip. There was a bathroom stop at a local NH store with fresh fudge to buy which was delicious. The guides tried really hard to find the moose but no luck. They really did feel bad and apologized for not finding them. Regardless, we all had a great time and would book again with them next time! read more

We took our kids on the moose tour hoping to see at least one...and were lucky enough to see 7. As they are wild animals sightings are not a guarantee, and the tour is also in the business of educating and preserving moose so you stay on the roads. The driver and guide were very entertaining, telling jokes that were corny but still funny as well as appropriate for the multiple ages on the bus. We had a great time, a lot of laughs and learned a lot about moose. Highly recommended trip for all ages, but it is late so some younger kids may fall asleep, our 7 yr olds had a ball. read more

We went on the Moose tour and both my wife and I had a great time. The driver was very up front with us that seeing moose is a crap shoot, but they would do everything possible to find some for us. They did find four moose for us to see and watch. One pair was a mother with her calf and they were delightful to watch. The tour guide Steve did a great job giving us information regarding moose. The other part that was impressive is that they truly try to protect the moose and don't go into their habitat, but stay on the highway where you can see the moose and know they are safe. read more

I was a little nervous paying $60 for two people and not being guaranteed to see anything... But almost as soon as the tour started we saw 2 moose! The total for the night was 7 moose, and I couldn't be happier. I also had some of the best fudge ever from the little pitstop in the middle of the tour. Larry and Tony were entertaining the whole night, lots of giggles and grins. It was also educational and I learned a lot. Yes, they prepped us that we might not see moose. Yes, we know they cannot control nature. Yes, they tried to entertain and keep the spirits up of 50 people who wanted to see a moose. But, I did not expect to zoom up and down Route 302 at least six times to slow down at the same wallows and salt cabin in a parking lot as trucks sped by our bus on the side of the road at 60 mph. The tour guides need to up their game and update their videos/cartoons. I tried to embrace the corniness of it all, but it was painful after nearly 4.5 hours in bus with no sightings. At 11:30, the driver apparently got a text from another tour guide that said he saw a moose and her baby near a guard rail 20 minutes away and so we raced to see them before they left the area. Surprisingly, she wasn't there by the time we arrived. It's fine we didn't see a moose, everything else about the tour was a disappointment. read more

These guys are very good at what they do! Yeah, there are corny jokes and music, but we saw three moose and a couple of huge black bears! One of the highlights of the trip is the stop at a store where you can get some of the best fudge you'll ever taste - I am now a maple fudge fan because of it. It goes quite late in summer, 9-midnight, so it is not great for younger kids at that time of the year. April and May seem to be good months to see lots of moose, they said. We decided to go on the moose tour because we have never seen a moose before and it sounded very interesting to us. Once we actually found out what the tour entailed it wasn't as fun. You literally drive around in a bus in circles along the highway while using spotlights on the side of the road to see animals. Up and down, up and down. I thought we would at least go to a more secluded area, like a marsh or campground instead of the highway to look for moose and other wildlife. At one point, you drive by a dumpster to look for bears. While on the bus, they play kids' songs of moose themed music and silly kids games. Once the kids call asleep, all entertainment was over, which to be honest, we were happy to not have to listen to a recording of a guy telling jokes in a "moose voice". We only saw 1 moose while on the entire 4 hour tour. The windows need to stay down on the bus or the windows will fog. It was freezing during the entire tour. If I would have known this we probably would have not taken the tour. We felt ripped off, frozen and disappointed. read more

They made no promises on seeing moose but made sure to drive around the hot spots several times to make sure we were satisfied. I can't recommend them higher ! My wife and I were up in NH for a few days on vacation. She had never seen a Moose and really wanted to see one, so we found this place online and decide to try it out. This tour would have been worth the price of admission even if we never saw a moose. The staff was very enthusiastic and kept us entertained the entire trip with videos, goofy stories, silly songs, and corny jokes. This may sound hokey, but they really pulled it off and it was a lot of fun. To top it all of we ended up seeing 3 moose and 3 black bears.
