If I were Avis or Budget corporate headquarters I would be ashamed and embarrassed to know a franchisee like CJ has my company name associated with his level of poor customer service. My entire experience renting a car from this location and having CJ be the only employee there to check me out was horrible. The worst part of this story didn't even happen to me, it was just what I observed. Can you imagine someone in the customer service field or a small business owner look at someone's T-shirt, see that it has a certain politicians name on it and then make that person wearing the shirt who had a reservation, stand off to the side while CJ continued to call other people ahead of that person in line. As a business owner why do you even care what political candidate somebody supports or not? So you decide to make them wait and basically discriminate against them for being polite, waiting in line, giving you their business, and just because they have a T-shirt on that you don't like that person's political affiliation you punish them with bad service and a longer wait. My experience was not that but I observed it. What I dealt with was a rude, bad attitude, and a customer service experience which basically boils down to do it all yourself online. - I made the reservation on the app on my phone while logged in to my account and here is how it went. Do you have my credit card or drivers license information? No, your rewards number isn't associated with the reservation. Well that's weird, since I made the reservation online via the app while logged into my account with my rewards number. You need to go online and update it yourself. - Since you can't find my drivers license information on the account even though I've rented from here before, can you update it in the system please? You can do that yourself online. Ok... There were numerous interactions like these two above, my experience of poor customer service and a bad attitude went on and on, so do yourself a favor and just take your business somewhere else.

I noticed the building was clean no clutter on counter or floor and the receptionist was available and ready for me, proceeded to check me in the process was quick and easy for me the young lady was efficient and she explained to me about the $50 deposit, the length of time the rental was for, we walked out side went over final details sign and drove away. We were not acknowledged when we arrived to pick up our reserved vehicle. There were several people sitting and waiting and phones were ringing but no one was answering. When my husband finally got the attention of the employee, he was very unprofessional. He didn't explain and apologize for the wait. Instead, he said that he didn't have to rent to us. My husband said we had a reservation and the employee said he was not going to rent to us and if we didn't leave he was going to call the police. We were literally stranded on the side of the road with no vehicle. I would not recommend.

I have video proof of the way it sounded. I didn't want to drive it Friday night for fear of what might be going on with it. I called the Hertz customer service line and they told me to either keep it or drive Saturday to the closet open Hertz...which was and hour and half away with traffic. They said the best I could do is stop at every single Hertz on the way out there to see if any were open. I found one open (it was a Saturday.) They didn't have anything and sent me backwards to a previous one I had already stopped at. Guy said the manager was there and would open the door for me. Cool. Nobody told me there was a $25.00 exchange charge for a bum vehicle they gave me for starters. Thennnn, I didn't drive the vehicle Friday night for fear of making it worse. Thennnn, Saturday I'm driving (with some of the worst anxiety I have ever had!) looking for an open Hertz. And they couldn't comp me a day for my troubles?? I missed out on appointments I had scheduled specifically during the time I had rented a vehicle because I don't have a car. One of the worst experiences of my life and not a single soul from Hertz cared. I miss when Jamal was over here because he would have never let me deal with that. The driver arrived early, as it was a very cold evening and he said he wanted to be there when they were ready to leave. The next big kindness shown was allowing the groom to include his dog, that was part of the wedding. The original dog transportation back home had a change and the driver quickly accommodated. Both the bride and groom said the driver was A+. Next, even though not planned, the driver let them drop their stuff off and then took them to meet up with their friends at a local Mount Dora location. Thanks so much for a great experience for this couple on their wedding day !!!

We walked to our car spot but the there wasn't a car to be found. After 1 hour of "looking for our car", they gave us a random car that was still wet, with zero paper work. One of the random employees tried to stop us and dry our car off saying, "corporate wouldn't like this". Um, what??? But they're happy we didn't have the car we were promised?
