In all honesty, I think this is one of the best things to ever come to Orlando. If anything, we need to have more bike stations available around town because this is truly fantastic! What is this and how does it work you ask? The what - There are various Bike Sharing stations in Orlando, you can find out exactly where when you download the app by typing in "Social bicycles" Once you find out where the nearest bike station is at, you're one step closer to renting out a bike. The how - Everything is done through the app. You create an account that will ask for your information, and monetary means, and you'll be given codes to type onto the keypad located on the bike. It took literally only about 6 minutes to get underway on our bikes. There are several account types to choose from and it ranges from one time use, to monthly. I personally thought the bikes were in great condition, and its such a fun way to spend time with friends and really see Orlando in a different, and healthier way. I love this!! Orlando really did good by adding this to downtown. I tried this with a couple of friends after leaving Market on South (they have them literally right there) and boy did we have a blast. These little orange bikes are affordable, eco-friendly and just a pleasure to ride around Orlando, especially when the weather is gorgeous. We rode these babies for almost three miles as we saw Downtown Orlando from a whole new perspective. It really is a blast. The best part is there's a lot of convenient pick up and drop off locations so you can ride those bikes for as long, or as far, as you'd like and you'd probably have somewhere to drop them off. Everyone needs a Juice Bike subscription! The bikes are fun and always fully functioning. At night they have lights, too, and the bright orange makes you hard to miss. The app is simple and easy to use as well for subscription updayes and finding bike stations. Lake Eola doesnt allow cycling but Baldwin does. Go cycle there!! I wish bike sharing was more of a city-wide initiative so that all communities had safer biking lanes, access paths, parking racks, and Juice Bike stations. More people would be taking this healthy alternative if it weren't such a hassle or dangerous! read more

How cute is this!! So happy I got to try this out! It's part of the 100 things to do in Orlando and it's definitely worth a try. Prices are very decent! FYI- if you're out of shape keep the gear at a 2. One is way too smooth makes you feel like your legs are moving more than the bike is. Oh and yeah, your bottom might hurt a bit. The bike was comfortable and a smooth ride though Lake Eola, Thornton Park, Mills 50, and then on to the Urban Trails. People were really curious about our bikes too. I just came from Dallas on a trip and rode their "Lemon" bike rentals. They only charge $1 per half hour, and the first ride is free, and no monthly plan was required. I was excited to check out our own Orlando "Juice" bike and was disappointed to see the price is 4x as expensive! And there are less bikes available. I'm glad they are here, but I hope they become more plentiful and more affordable. read more

I absolutely love the idea of bike shares. It encourages people to be more active, it alleviates traffic in congested downtown, its Eco-friendly and is a ton of fun! What a great way to explore and get around downtown! The process is really simple. You make a free account and choose from a list of fare options. You can pay as you go or buy monthly passes. You find or reserve a bike and enter your code on the keypad on the back of the bicycle. This will unlock it for you. Simply remove the lock bar, get on your bike and ride around the city! You can drop it off at any of the conveniently placed hub locations once you're done. As someone who is really conscious of the impact I'm leaving on the environment I can't recommend this highly enough. I will be using Juice every time I come to Downtown Orlando and I really hope they will expand to other areas in the city. A very enthusiastic 5 stars! read more

One of the worst companies I had to deal with: they started charging me a monthly membership and now I have a hard time getting rid o this 'service', when in fact I was visiting Orlando for a day, wanting to bike for an hour. dishonest customer service, literally theft. there is just no other way to put this. if you ever make the mistake to rent a bike from them, make sure you keep checking your card account and your email/spam. read more

Used bike share for the first time last Friday and it was an awesome experience! The app is super easy to use and the stations are very conveniently located! Our ride started poorly when the first hub we stopped at-- closest to home-- was full of bikes that did not work. One of our riders was successful there, but he had to pay for his bike while we all walked to the next location. Once we got there we had a heck of a time getting the bikes free-- the key pads barely worked. In fact, I paid $1.07 just waiting for my friend to get her bike to accept her PIN number. Our ride was pleasant, despite the fact that the bikes are very heavy. We lost two bottles of water through the bottoms of the baskets. When we stopped for coffee we were charged $2 to lock the bikes up outside a hub. I put $20+ in my account because I planned to rent the bikes for myself and my guests. The app was difficult to navigate and I couldn't figure out how to rent more than one bike on the same account. Now I have money left on my account, which I will probably never recover because I had a poor experience. I am a fan of bike share and have used them in several other cities. This system is the worst by far. read more
