The staff at the Lubbock airport enterprise rental car had my flight information but they left anyway leaving several passengers stranded without their cars. This is the first time I have this happen, usually i rent with national and they always wait for the last plane to arrive delayed or not. read more

Terrible experience. I travel for work. I rent a car literally every week from this company. Thousands a month in business. I had a temporary license issued by the state of Texas along with my passport and even an old expired license. I have never had a problem getting a car with this setup. I land in Lubbock and realize I left my wallet back home. I still have all my IDs because they were in my bag and not my wallet. They had no problem with my IDs but refused to rent a car to me because I don't have a physical credit card even though I have a picture of it. I say "ok that's my fault for losing my wallet" and grab an Uber to my job. They change the reservation to be picked up the next day while my wife overnights my wallet. I come back the next day. I'm made to wait while one of them takes a personal call. I then talk to the same people the next day who now refuse to rent me a car because I have a temporary license and accuse me of faking it. Even going so far as saying "I used to fake these to get into bars when I was underage". They then tell me I have to go to the DMV to get it signed and come back. As if the dmv is known for their efficiency . I inform them that if this was going to be a problem they should have told me this YESTERDAY when I was there and they are now screwing me out of $10,000 in appointments that I need to be attending for work. Zero understanding or sympathy for their own oversight. When I got angry at the situation and said that it was bs Dawn said "well now I won't rent to you at all because of how you're talking to me." Complete power trip. She then directed me to their competitor Avis next door. Avis was shocked when I told them the story and had NO PROBLEM renting a car to me with my 3 FORMS OF ID. I went on to sell $94k for my company that week thanks to Avis. Do not rent from this location. read more

I had a late flight in on a Friday night. An agent by the name of Hailey was there to assist me in getting the rental car I reserved. I have some physical limitations and she accomodated me with just the right car. Hailey was working the lot early Sunday morning when I returned the car and made check in so very easy! I left a pair of prescription Sun Glasses in the car. I didn't miss them until I arrived home. I called immediately and an agent in Lubbock filled out the list item form for me. A little over a week later Hailey called me to say they located my glasses And would be mailing them to me. The car was fine but they charged me for roadside assistance when I clearly said I didn't want the extras. My fault for being in a hurry and initialing next to the charge. They didn't make a big deal about reversing the charge so for that I can be glad. Another weird situation is when I was trying to fill up the car before returning, the pump would not put much gas in. I tried several pumps, talked to the assistant inside and manager and we determined it must be the car. Eventually after putting dollars at a time the tank read close enough to full. So either I am going crazy or something was odd with the car tank. One would hope there is no such thing out there to make it hard to fill up just so they can charge you. read more

Passed through Lubbock on our way to our annual ski trip. This location made everything so easy and they were 100% accommodating. I wish I knew the name of the fella that helped us...he rocked! We had rented an SUV that was too small, so they upgraded us to a premium for free... and It was fancy. Brand new black suburban. We had four 20 year olds and a seven year old, plus snowboards and luggage and fit perfectly. I'll use enterprise from now on! read more

I made a reservation two days in advance and received a confirmation number for my reservation. When I showed up at the reserved time (a Sunday evening) apparently my reservation had been lost and the attendant couldn't retrieve it. With no other options, she processed it as a walk-up so that I could receive the car. At the end of the transaction, when it came time for payment, she informed me that Enterprise would not accept my business debit/visa card. She stated that it must be a "credit" card, and that bank cards/debit cards/etc. are not allowed as payment even though it was a visa debit card. If this is their company's policy, it would have been great to know this in advance instead of Sunday evening while standing at the counter on the eve of a business trip after I've driven 15 minutes out of my way just to go to Enterprise. She referred me to Hertz since they do accept debit/bank/visa cards as payment. read more

I recently rented a car from this location. Received a decent rate since it was Christmas of $7.34 since it was a same day rental. BTW...I used my points! That said when I arrived at my destination ((400 miles)) later, my 2018 KIA Elantra had a major engine failure. Thank God I arrived safely and it didn't occur while on the road. Other than the threat of possibly losing my job due to engine problems. My rental experience, as usual, was A-OK! read more

I was charged for satellite radio that I didn't ask for and was not told that it was even offered. I was also charged for roadside assistance. Never again will I use them. The car had dog hair all over the backseat as well. read more

My experience with Enterprise in the Lubbock airport was seamless. Agents were very courteous. Service was streamlined and I was on my way. The vehicle was clean. Price was great. On the return I was leaving for my gate in less than a minute. I highly recommend Enterprise and will definitely continue to use them. I just HAVE TO add that on a previous visit to the Lubbock airport I was forced to use Hertz. Never in my 30 years of traveling on business was I more upset and pissed off with an agent. He was rude, arrogant and he charged me an extra $13 dollars without just cause. They're crooks in my opinion. Enterprise was a breath of fresh air all the way around! Very professional. read more

One Enterprise representative would reply to my email, then when I replied, a different representative would reply, and all that happens is that I'm referred to the regional Enterprise management who made the hail-damage claim in the first place. Good service at the Lubbock airport counter. Nice and friendly and fast service. Only negative was the low pressure warning alert coming on for TWO tires during my rental. I understand that the pressure sensors can alert too early at times. Also, temperature changes will affect tire pressure. Enterprise folks just need to always check tire pressures. This caused me to make two extra stops to fill up the tires with air. And you know how unreliable gas station air pumps are. Plus, there was an extra cost for doing it. But, the good service outweighs most little things. I'll certainly rent a car again from Enterprise at the Lubbock Airport. read more

Horrific treatment of customers on October 10th, 2014. We had a confirmed reservation on Friday, October 10, which was delayed just over an hour (and part of that delay happened after we were airborne and avoiding weather). When we arrived, the counter was closed. Had it not been for Hertz, we would have been stranded at the airport - looking for a cab, a hitchhike to Lubbock, or a very long walk. We did receive a comp'd car the next day - by the manager - which was greatly appreciated due to the events of the night before. However, if your flight arrives in Lubbock after 9:00 PM, and there's a chance of being late - avoid renting from this Enterprise location - they could very easily leave you stranded. read more

Did not have any full size cars. I was pressed for time so took the smaller car. It was less expensive that was the only positive here. ,. Given my keys and had to walk about 3/4 mile in the driving rain and wind. It was about 55 degrees! I was soaked when I got to my car. I was dragging my suitcase and computer bag I guess they only had the one guy at the counter working No offers to help. Same on the return trip . You have to drag your bags up the hill. I guess the good thing is it was not raining and cold.. I guess the word for Enterprise at Lubbock Airport is "don't come alone and rent from Enterprise". Oh I am a Enterprise Plus member! I always use enterprise when traveling they we're ready for me when I got there. I did ask for a full size sedan but they did not have one available. They had a mini van they gave me for not extra charge. It tuns out this was a great thing. Everyone we were meeting there was able to all pile into one car including the grandparents. read more

My reservation was not honored and they charged me extra since they only had a mini-van available. I called the customer service that morning line and left a complaint. I called the customer service back to ask when I would get a response and they said it could take up to five days. The representative also indicated that they should have kept the same rate as the reservation. So it has been a few weeks now and still no response. read more

I travel to Lubbock on business once a month. Normally my company dictates that I rent from Hertz but this time they had no cars available and I was able to use Enterprise. My experiences at Hertz have always been less than satisfactory and I was glad to give Enterprise a chance. Right off the bat, disappointment. The car/size I reserved wasn't there and of course....nothing could be done. (Even though there were plenty of larger cars in the lot). The SMALL car I did receive was clean but such a let down since I have to travel the panhandle when I'm there. The only saving grace were the people. They were friendly and courteous. I have rented from enterprise for the last 2 years , and I have never received a car like this. The car was dirty, and I mean dirty, inside and out, I was in such a hurry to get to my work meeting that I could not take the time to switch the car (although I should have), as soon as I got on the highway the car was shacking and I could not go over 40MPH without hearing noises and the shacking (the car was for sure in an accident) when I returned the car I was asked "Was it shacking from the back?" They knew! and they still give me that car ... oh yeah! I forgot to tell you that I'm a gold member with enterprise, so good luck if you rent for the first time (may the rental car force be with you). read more

I fly in and out of Lubbock for business I always use Enterprise because I normally get great customer service and clean cars. The last couple of times I have rented from the Lubbock, TX Airport facility the cars have been gross, they are very dirty I even had one with someone else's garbage in it. The guy who helped us at the counter was good and even gave us a great recommendation for a BBQ place for lunch. The car itself was fine. But after returning the car, the service has been unacceptable. Even though I declined all of the insurance coverage, I was charged for it. When i called the location phone number, I was unable to talk to a human being, even though it was during office hours. It took me a half hour to track down someone at Enterprise to help me. They said that they would let the Lubbock location know of the problem and have someone contact me. It has been three weeks and I haven't gotten any response. read more
