To my surprise, I had the WORST EXPERIENCE today at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. HORRIFIC SERVICE !!! HORRIFIC SERVICE !!! I went to return my rental car at the Lynnway location. The horrible service I received was totally uncalled for and avoidable. Unbelievably at one point I had to call the local police to come assist me. This is THE WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER !!! They did not want to give me a receipt for dropping off the car but finally did once I called the local police and asked for a cruiser to come to my assistance. I got a rental from here and the only downside I had with them was that they don't have many selections on cars so you might end up with one you're not comfortable with but sometimes it's good to take a challenge . The car had no problems besides not having washer fluid and wipers didn't work well . The body shop I took my car to still has my car after my rental being due . I was having a hard stressful situation with my insurance not wanting to cover 3 days of rental because they never reached out to me when I was supposed to give the car back . We had rented a car for a few days for a previous week, so we had everything planned out. However, we didn't realize there was another schedule conflict, and needed to set up another rental. This was the closest location with a vehicle available on such short notice. Again, service was quick, and being able to set everything up online made the process a breeze. I wish I had known about the drop-off/pick-up option, would have made life easier for the wife! But otherwise good experience. The lady assisting me was this petite thing, very charming and chatty. Very friendly experience. There was a little hiccough with getting the car (the Salem location didn't have me marked as having the previous rental car turned in). Worst experience so far. Had to rent a car through them due to some asshole driving without a license causing my car to end up in the shop for 2 weeks. This car is nothing near my car even though insurance should provide something equivalent, but supposedly enterprise is out of every other car other than sedans, as if that should be my fucking problem. Then the piece of shit car they gave me is dirty as fuck and smells of weed even though their entire hold recording is about how clean they are with Covid. also how the fuck is a 2021 car such a piece or shit? Out of all the Enterprise branches I've rented from this is by FAR the WORSE one I've encountered.I've been renting cars from enterprise for about 4 years now because in the filed I work in I travel a lot.Not only were they always rude when they called but it seemed they were also e experienced as well.More than once they prematurely charged my card causing me to be a day late on my payment which sent and alert to the corporate office and put me on the *High Risk* list.So Wednesday at idk what time they reposed my rental car with alll my kids gift in it without even notifying me.Yes I was 2 days late on a payment but me and Gabriel had and verbal agreement that I might be late do to the holidays and he looked me square in the eye and said that's okay as long as you pay.This individual single handled ruined Christmas for my family because we can't get out Christmas gifts until Monday when they open back up and NOT only that but we were scheduled to take a road trip today to visit our dying uncle.This man has lied to me and told me even tho I've racked up 4,000 points and 2 free rentals that I was not eligible to use my benefits.They wouldn't let me rent a premium car because they said I needed a credit card which is weird since I've rented premium from other branches with no issue because I'm a long time customer.I would NOT recommend this branch if your going to rent a car.They are always short staffed,Little to no experience and HORRID customer service.I will be taken my business to Avis or somewhere else.Thank you enterprise in LYNN MA for ruined my children Christmas because I was 2 days late on a payment. These people are the best, when I brought my car into the body shop, Col-Craft, on Commercial Street, also a great place to deal with, Alex came right over with a brand new Kia and took me back to their office and in 20 minutes I was out the door with a new Kia. I dealt with this office before about two years ago and had the same experience, this is probably why my insurance company, Liberty Mutual, recommends them. The Enterprise here in Massachusettes seems to be poorly managed company. My car was in the body shop & Enterprise was recommened. I am so disappointed and frustrated with the awful rental car service from Enterprise I plan to share my experience. The cars were dirty, poorly maintained & stunk. They incorrectly over billed me on 2 seperate occasions which cost me hours of time & research just to make arrangements for my refund. Worst of all, when you call to question your mysterious charges to your credit card you are redirected again and again. I would dare say the incompetence is estemic and corporate wide. Great customer service. The only downside of this location is that you can't drop off the car before hours like you can with many other locations. You can drop it off at Salem or Revere if you want to drop off the car before the Lynn location is open, without any additional charges. The revere location is very small and you may have an issuer finding a spot to park the car. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had gotten in an accident and needed a car. First off they had no compact cars available so I was left with a minivan really? a minivan? Then on top of that I was charged for the normal $300 security deposit however since my car insurance didn't sign off on the approval right away. They called me and left a voicemail then after that charged me an additional $100 since the insurance didn't sign off on it. On top of that too they made me sign a young driver waiver fee which the representative did not make me fully aware that I was going to be charged $17.99 a day for additional coverage after I had signed it and making it seem like it was 'optional'. What sense would it make for me to sign for additional coverage if I already have full coverage. I went back to fight back the charges but knowing I had already signed the contract I already knew I was s**t out of luck bit oh boy I gave the manager an earful which of course they covered their bases by stating that i was fully aware but it was not stated that I was fully aware about the $17.99 a day that I would have been charged. They are so lucky that I did not take them to small claims court. Now im $400 out when I thought the point of the security deposit was if there were any damages on the vehicle they would have automatically taken that off but noo Enterprise always seems to get away with stealing your money. I rented a car from them while mine was in the shop. I walked around the car with the employee while she was on the driver side of the car I was still standing on the passaenger side and mentioned that there were scratches on the back bumper and she said don't worry about that. I guess because they were very minor. When I returned the car they said that I caused damage. There was a small little nick in the tail light above where the scratches were that I told the employee about. It was at the body shop the same day! The body shop they sent it to has a really bad reputation and I wne tdown there and the guy said that it was gonna cost way more than $500 because he was gonna have to take the bumper off and look at damage underneath! Yet the employee that took me to pick up my car said that the nick is so small she didn't hink it should cost that much. I will not rent from them again! This is what happens when you trust people to actually do their job, next time I rent a vehcile I am going to do a detailed check myself and right down every little thing! read more
