We had a mix up with our rental return times for one trip, upon returning I explained the mix up and he gave us a free upgrade for our next trip! My husband and I just redeemed our upgrade for our trip to Tahoe. We had to return early due to personal reasons but Matt got us in and out very quickly and professionally. Rental car places are usually a last resort. Unless you enjoy being jerked around and paying incredibly high prices for the ability to drive....find another way. Might I recommend buying an old beater for a week rather than renting. Might take less time too with the amount you spend in line here. read more

I will continue to rent cars from here. When I arrived to pick up my rental, they were actually out of the type of car I had reserved so I got upgraded from a standard size car to a midsize SUV at no charge. I appreciated the extra room as my passenger was quite tall, and I know she enjoyed the extra legroom. The young man that assisted me upon arrival was very personable and pleasant, and I was on my way in minutes. Upon return, I was helped promptly, even though they were busy, and I ended up paying less than had been expected. Maybe because I returned it with more fuel than necessary? I have no clue, but I'm not complaining. They have earned my repeat business. read more

I just got back from a 3 day trip to Joshua Tree. I got just their normal week-end rate but had unlimited miles. They came and picked me up, then took me back home again once I returned the car. Now if you are over 55 and without a car this service is GREAT. I had no extras on the rental so for the cost of the rental and making sure of the fill up upon return I had no worries. I got a VW Jetta, it gave me close to 40 mpg. I was treated like a queen and had fun and saved money. read more

Wonderful customer service. I reserved a car for the weekend deal and I stopped by but I forgot you needed enough funds(deposit) in your card to rent. I took the bus to merced so I didn't know where the bank was and it was a walk.I was starting to walk to the bank when the staff called out to me and offered a ride since the driver was heading out to drop off a customer. I was happy. It's rare to see customer service like that. Thats what makes good business awsome. Thank you enterprise for your help and services. read more

By the time I got a car on a Monday morning they were out of full size cars but they upgraded me to a 2017 Toyota 4runner at no extra cost that I loved. Thank you for the nice vehicle to drive. It was clean and well taken care of so far. read more

I booked a rental car online for pickup. When I arrived, they said nothing about a sign-in sheet to be waited on, so I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone said anything to me. Then, I had to wait another 35 minutes just to be checked in for the car I reserved online the prior day. I didn't have time to waste as I was getting ready for a trip the next day, so waiting this long wasn't acceptable. When they finally checked me in, the car I reserved was not ready. I was told it needed an oil change and car wash. I told them, I'll leave and come back later to pick it, Mean while I hear the clerk talking to an insurance company over the phone to upsell for a more expensive car for another customer. That's where they waste their time... washing one car at a time for a customers that are waiting too, another big problem. There were so many people waiting for cars, it was nuts. I even witnessed a customer walking in, ask about his reserved car, he too was told his car wasn't ready, he immediately walked out, they lost his sale. There was an overcrowded waiting room with people waiting for their rental car to be washed, really don't they have any clean cars on this lot? After I came back an hour later, the car I reserved was still not ready. Too bad anyways, I told them I went to another car rental company and to cancel my reservation. The waiting room is full of people waiting for rental cars to be washed...., people coming in and out, it's just a crazy situation. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Go to Courtesy Rent-A-Car - That's where I ended up getting my rental car.no reservations, no waiting for a car to be washed, just excellent service. . So Enterprise Merced.... you lost a sale with me and another customer that day and I wonder how many more rental car sales you lost that day. read more

Wow, I just called and they were not helpful at all. After telling me they won't rent a 15 passenger van I had to ask what was the next smallest they would rent to a school. They said 8 pas suv. I ask about a 12 passenger and they said they don't carry them I would have to call fresno. When I ask if I could get it through them they said they can see the vehicles available, but basically just wouldn't look. I guess they don't train for customer service. Or my business isn't good enough for them. read more

Worst car rental experience I have ever had, This has been the first time I had personally had a need to use a rental car and being that I am an insurance agent and enterprise always comes and markets to our office I felt that I could trust them and utilize there services so I decided to get my rental vehicle from them. When I went to get the vehicle I trusted that they would inspect the vehicle correctly so I didn't feel the need to inspect the vehicle in detail because like I said I thought they were a trust worthy and reputable company I could trust, when I went back to return the vehicle they tell me that there is damage in the vehicle and that it was my fault, I drove the vehicle myself and I would of know/felt if something would of happened to it. I believe that this damage was already there but was not properly inspected when I received it. I had an appointment with enterprise to buy a new vehicle but that is not going to happen anymore because I am very disappointed in them and would not ever recommend any of my clients who will ever need a rental car to them ever again because I do not want them to ever go through what I did, I am also going to refuse there soliciting in my insurance office and will let other agents know what happened to me so they can do the same. read more
