There were no aircraft behind it where they usually stored their 'training aircraft'. Their back door was usually open during business hours but it appeared to be closed. Their big sign in front was gone. For all intents and purposes they appeared closed for good. I saw 2 of their 'training aircraft' out on the Ramp, tied down, dirty, and appeared to be derelict aircraft, now. Sad. I was hoping they would stay and be a successful training facility. But alas, it appears that they failed and closed their facility. Does anyone else get the same impression, or have more information? When I tried to call them the phone automatically disconnected. After 4 attempts it became fairly obvious that their land-line is permanently disconnected.

Last time I flew something like that was in 1996 with Chuck Yeager (was a DC-3). I'm currently trying to renew my medical certificate, and when I do, I would love to fly with them. I kept seeing Flyers Academy ads all over advertising multi rating in 5 days, so I started looking…read moreinto getting my multi done. I called around to quite a few schools and most were booked out a month or two, which actually worked out because I still needed to finish my instrument rating. Unfortunately, after my instructor left, things kind of stalled out. I wasn't making any progress, so I called Flyers Academy and explained my situation--that I needed to get my instrument completed and wanted to move right into my multi. Omar, the owner, called me a few hours later saying we can get it done now. They were able to squeeze me in, get my instrument wrapped up, schedule a checkride, then roll right into my multi and another checkride. It was a lot of work and definitely an intense 10 days, but the entire crew was incredible. From the moment I arrived, Omar made sure I was taken care of. The operation is extremely well organized, the airplanes were clean and well maintained, and everything worked exactly as it should. The instructors genuinely care about your success and put in long days to make sure you're prepared. Most days started around 7 or 8 in the morning and went until 10 at night. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me along the way--Sam, Sunny, Mike, Dom, and especially Vivian. Vivian was an outstanding instructor and went above and beyond every day to make sure I understood everything and was fully prepared. I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Seriously, thank you again Vivian. If you're serious about getting ratings done and are willing to put in the work, I highly recommend Flyers Academy. They also have great and clean accommodations for anyone traveling in, including space if you're staying in a van, which was a huge plus for me. Thank you again to the entire Flyers Academy team. December 16, 2017…read more JetEXE Aviation hosted a Christmas party. Invites were sent out, and I RSVP, as soon as I received my invite. The function was held in the hangar. All planes were relocated outside for this event, except for 2 planes. These 2 planes were the back drop, of this function. Welcome, Introductions 630 - 700 pm Drinks & Hors d'oeuvres 630 - 730 pm Buffet - style dinner 730 - 900 pm Door prizes and Silent auction 900 - 930 pm Live band "Golden Caddilacs" 730 - 1030 pm Fund raiser for Charitable 501C3 Snehacare for abandoned children with HIV Http://snehacarehome.org Everything was set up accordingly. They had 3 bartenders, making sure everyone drinks were topped off. LOL The band was playing good music, which had a lot of people on the dance floor, including me and van. The buffet style meal was plentiful and delicious. The line for this meal seemed to flow without hiccups. It seemed Venus was in charge of this department. (she works front desk) Job well done I saw Chris (operations manager) running around and making sure things were in place, like extension cords, to make this event happen.. The silent auctions consist of paintings, trip to Mexico, etc... They also had candles for sale. Not sure up this point how this turned out. Augustine, the owner, greeted everyone, making it such a warm welcoming environment. It was nice to see people involved in aviation and being able to meet them first hand. Can't wait till next party hosted by Augustine !!

Park was great - very nice and informative about flying. We took off, suffered an engine problem and had to declare an emergency and return to airport. I rescheduled, but later called to postpone because of a potential conflict and was told there'd be a $50 charge. I said I'd try to make it for scheduled time. I called before scheduled time to say I couldn't make it. The person I spoke to remembered my emergency problem flight and said he'd get back to me - no one has. My husband and I just got married and decided we wanted to do something big and awesome on our last…read moreday of our honeymoon. I did a bunch of googling of different options we could do and decided Yosemite Flight Tours was the way to go because of what they toured and the price was the best!! I emailed them, hoping we could get a last minute flight. Mark emailed me back promptly and said we could fit in a flight early morning a few days later after a storm, which was perfect for us so we did it! The process for payment with Randy at the office and everything was so so easy and simple!! And quick! No stupid gimmicks to get more money it of us, no hidden fees, no crazy paperwork or anything. I would give them a 5-star rating just on that alone but if I could give them more than 5, I would for the tour itself!! Mark was SO nice and SO knowledgeable about everything there could possible know about Yosemite and the surrounding areas... the glaciers, the fires, the landscapes, hiking, climbing, etc... he knows it all. You could tell he was passionate about what he did. It made me smile listening to him just talk nonstop about everything knowing it wasn't just a "job", it is what he loves and wants to do. He was just so awesome. Not only was Mark awesome at the tour aspect of things but also flying the plane itself. He was such a great pilot. Such a smooth takeoff, turns, landing everything.
