I booked my car rental at Fox car rentals through Priceline ahead of time but because My flight was delayed they changed the rate on me to almost doubled. They explained they only hold the reservation for two hours and because I was slightly longer than that. Had to pay the higher rate. I won't use them again. read more

I had a mixed experience with them. My car was rear ended, and ended up being totaled. My main gripe was with the opposite party's insurance agency, but enterprise did not make any effort to communicate with their insurance. They made me the middle man until I realized that made no sense and things would go smoother and quicker when I just asked them to communicate with eachother. After that I got a good car in good condition and had no problems with the car or the return process. I did communicate that I was a bit unsatisfied with my service and so the worker gave me his card and said to let them know that if I needed another car I'd get a discounted price, so that was nice. They seemed nice enough, there was just clearly different levels of experience across the workers and it made things harder on me during an already stressful time. read more

Tony and Lauryn quickly worked to have that vehicle brought to the meridian location and while I waited, Tony was on his customer service game! My wife and I just moved here from out of state. We had our cars transported and they were not due to arrive for three more days. We drove to this location in our 15 foot U-Haul. Carlos seemed to be the manager, and he seemed to be a one-man operation, because even though there were other employees in the office, he was the only one helping customers. For that reason we had to wait to rent a car. Once Carlos turned to us, without a reservation, we had to come back in 90 minutes. Since we now live in Star, we ended up going to a park to hang out, then to a fast food restaurant. When we got back, Carlos put us in a nice SUV for a fair price. Three days later, when we returned, Carlos checked out the car in a timely manner and we were on our way. Carlos is a friendly and personable man, and I appreciated that. If we need to rent a car again, we would come here. read more

We made reservations weeks before online. Upon checking in we were told the vehicle was not available. No one contacted us to let us know. The vehicle they gave us was almost on Empty, windshield and all windows with water spots/smears and dirt. The inside was dirty, with crumbs, dust and food. If it were not for the fact we were on a time crunch, we would've just went to another place. The employees seemed rushed and very unprofessional. HORRIBLE experience. I have rented many cars from many different rental car companies, Enterprise being one of them, but never from this particular location. We were given this location from our insurance company after an accident. Although this was set up ahead of time through our insurance on Friday, we were not able to pick up a car until 4:30 PM on Wednesday (we dropped our car for for repairs at 8:00 AM). Enterprise was supposed to call us before this, and they never did. I called them to set this up. When we walked in, there was no semblance of a line whatsoever, and it looked completely chaotic. Several people in there were upset after being told that they would have a car, but it wasn't there. The assistant manager then proceeded to help someone that had a 5:30 appointment, even though we were there for a 4:30 appointment. Jada, the assistant manager was the only person helping people at the front desk at this point. I didn't even get to speak to someone until 5 o'clock, but this wasn't until I watched Jada speak down to one of the other employees- she was extremely condescending to him, which was even more concerning after learning that this was only his fifth day on the job. As he was trying to help us, she reprimanded him for "touching her keys", which she was able to interrupt her conversation with another customer to let him know this. The car that I was promised earlier, which was an intermediate SUV, was not available, but a car that just arrived that "smelled of marijuana, was available, if I was ready to wait around for 30 minutes for them to clean it with a "treatment". I declined this, and was again greeted with snarky attitude. I told her I would take any car that she had that did not smell like marijuana. She offered me a truck, which I took. They quickly "cleaned" the truck, which I finally drove out of the lot a little before 5:30 PM, an hour after I had my appointment. The truck did not have a full tank of gas, but they did discount us by telling us we did not have to return it full. It was certainly not clean by any means, in fact, it was the dirtiest rental car I think I've ever picked up. Honestly, I feel horrible for the young man who started the job five days ago, that he is being treated the way that he was, particularly in front of all of the people that were standing in that room watching Jada act this way. There is absolutely no way to be treating anyone like that. I would not have chosen to rent my car here, this was not my decision. This just confirms another reason why I do not choose Enterprise personally. However, this particular location should certainly look into people such as Jada. It is not a good look to have someone in a "leadership" position, treating others like this... especially when you have a literal room full of people sitting there because there's a backlog due to whatever is happening behind the scenes. There is a way to lead under pressure with grace. When we returned the car, I did talk to the manager and did find out that Jada no longer is employed there, I am not sure why, but I did feel the need to post this review regardless, as it's still important for management to be aware of how other employees were treated. read more

Had a CONFIRMED reservation for July 9-12, 2025. Showed up to pickup car and was told NO CAR available with 100 miles. The agent actually told me they had many car recalls so no cars were available. So every car brand recalled every car? What a crock of *@&#(. What is worse, the reservation was confirmed AND NOBODY FROM ENTERPRISE REACHED OUT TO ME IN ANY FORM TO ALERT ME THAT NO CAR WOULD BE AVAILABLE. THIS LEFT ME STRANDED ON A 5 DAY TRIP. I guess it was too inconvenient to take my call today, so I was hung up on repeatedly, approximately 10 times before I just called another location. Negative stars for a major lack of customer service, which was just simply picking up the phone with a phony greeting! I would have been ok with that. Booooooo! My car went in for repairs this morning. It was confirmed for a rental car through the responsible parties insurance. Enterprise picked me up from the repair shop. Brought me to the branch and then told me that 1 there was no reservation and 2 they may not have any cars and if they do it will be hours from now. Seeing as that I am 25 miles from home it was suggested I take an Uber home. Also they told me what the insurance company was covering would not cover any car at all. Cam is wonderful! She answered all of my questions, hooked me up with a spotless Camry that only had 22,000 miles on it and arranged a ride for me after the return. I did learn something new that you may find interesting! I was driving on the freeway a semi had a tire blow just a few feet ahead of me. AsI took my foot off the gas and held the wheel steady through the shower of shredded rubber all I could think was "I'm so happy I got the insurance!" When I could get out and look I was sad, there were now several small flaws in the paint. Upon return I confessed what had happened and Cam laughed! She said "No problem! See!" She whipped out a little card from her pocket. It had what looked to be about a one inch circle cut out of it. "As long as the mark fits inside the circle we don't worry about it." Who knew?! They'll pick you up but they won't talk to you. My rental was due to an insurance claim. I spoke to them two weeks prior to my rental with all details. The lady that was picking me up went to the wrong shop so I ended up having to wait for her 45 minutes and their office was 5 minutes away. When she showed up she did not identify herself and just looked at me and said "Enterprise, come on". This gal did not say one word to me the entire trip to the office. When we got to the Enterprise office she just said "well, let's go in the office". That was it. Personality of a rock. When we got in the office she turned me over to another guy that was in charge of doing everything except helping me. Every time the phone rang or some one asked him something he stopped helping me and gave full attention to that call or whatever. They finally had someone help me who acted like they wanted to help me not someone else. He was very professional and he got me on my way. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever use Enterprise again. Update: they can't even get dates right as my rental was for 4 days and I get the contract back in my email and they made it for 3 days. Do yourself a huge favor and use any other car rental company not Enterprise. read more

Michael was *awesome* dropping off my latest rental due to some guy totaling my van right before the COVID-19 stay at home orders. Dealing with the other guy's insurance has been an absolute nightmare (stay away from MAPFRE/AIC) - they've "extended" the rental after it expired (necessitating a new reservation), then "canceled" the new rental around close of business yesterday, 4 days before the rental expired. Now my insurance is taking over, and has issued a new reservation. Enterprise on Fairview (and in the admin office) has just been really accommodating and wonderful throughout it all. The attendants are pleasant and respectful but the past two times the car I got was not full of gas. The first time they made it worth my wild but this time it was under 3/4ths of tank and I have to bring it back with 1/2 a tank. To their defense I was 20 minutes early but there was only one person in the office. I would of much rather had a full tank and not have to stop an extra time on the highway to fill the tank. I am a very good customer of Enterprise and I directed my daughter to rent a van to take my wife and 5 grandchildren, one is a special needs child, to a family reunion and the location in Meridian, Idaho rented her one with 44,000 miles on it. So...naturally it broke down. The brakes went out going down the Kendrick grade and left them stranded. I could go on-and-on about the 6 hour delay and the "everything is closed" customer service, but the real tragedy is with the manager, Will, who proudly said, "I'll refund everything, which will take 2-4 business days, but I can't do anything else for you regarding the experience you had and the cost of a Hertz rental car you had to rent to get home." Also, when told about the poor service he said "our call center is outsourced" and when he was told his employee blatantly lied about the debit card deposit funds being frozen, he said "he's kind of new," about his employee. As an owner of an outsource call center company, I know consumers don't care whether it's outsourced or in-house. They just want to be supported. Will, with his taco sauce stained shirt and his "we will only deal with the renter...not you" position, is an unprofessional idiot and should be working at a taco stand and not in the rental car industry. I spent over 20 years as an executive managing operations for 3 of the largest travel companies in America, and I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and courtesy he provides. Even though he has "no authority" to resolve this issue, he should of offered to stay with my daughter through the process and do everything he could to advocate resolving her claim. His "I've done all I can do" attitude is something Enterprise should be ashamed of. Since all Enterprise offices are corporate, I have to assume he represents their standard, so I will be using the influence I have to ensure none of my business colleagues, friends or family are ever exposed to such dangerous and incompetent behavior. read more

I've rented from this location twice in the last few months and overall it's a fine experience. Im a pretty dedicated Enterprise customer having rented only from them and several times in the last couple years. One thing that I have noticed is that even if your experience doesn't go smoothly they do tend to rectify it overall. My first rental from this location went pretty flawlessly, they gave me an excellent car and I was in and out with very friendly customer service. The most recent time was a little different. The manager at this location is super friendly but one of the customer service girls that actually got me in the car, etc - super flat and just not terribly friendly at all. I noticed the next morning this car had definitely been smoked in and since that's not what I was paying for, I called and kindly asked to swap it out. She advised they were out of cars at that location but that returns would be coming back around 3.I told her no rush, I wouldn't need it until later in the day so later was fine. She said she would call me back. No call back and I had it for two more days... I found her response to just be silly quite honestly. Im paying to drive around a car that stinks of smoke when it should be clean and you are a car rental company with several locations in the area. Not having a replacement for me was not meeting the deal we agreed on when I gave my cc for a clean rental car.. Long story longer, when I returned it and the manager took back the car, he asked about my experience and I explained all of the above. It was clear that he too found the response and lack of response to be inadequate. He ended up taking some money off of my bill and offering an upgrade for a rental down the road, these were both considerate offerings to make the situation better and I appreciated that he acknowledged the situation. I will continue to go to Enterprise and hopefully to this location as it is very convenient to me. read more

What a wonderful example of going the extra mile for their customers!!!! I rented a car from enterprise in Meridian Idaho. On my return trip I had a medical emergency while driving. I was taking by ambulance to ER. Once I regrouped I called the Meridian office explaining the situation. Marissa and the Manager we're so concerned and supportive. Once I determined I could not drive home, they worked with me to provide an Extremely fair and easy solution in order to not add to my anxiety over the situation. Husband made an online reservation for a rental car. Was scheduled to be picked up the next morning at 9:30 am. 40 mins before pickup time, we get a phone call stating that the location has NO vehicles available, and nobody to pick him up (because they don't DO that on Saturdays anymore). He calls another location, they can honor his reservation, but again, they have no one to pick him up. As a result, he had to WALK the 7 miles to the other location. All because Enterprise books cars and promises services that aren't available. What a joke. If it wasn't an emergency situation, we would have gone with someone else. Understaffing is not a customer's problem, when a service is promised. And how do you have online booking that can't figure out what stock on hand is?? Fail ALLLLL the way around. We've been using the Enterprise rental on E. Fairview in Meridian and are extremely pleased with the service, Customer Focus and options. Unfortunately, the company elected to cancel NRA discounts. I rented a car and a quick walkthru was performed. I drove the car straight home. Upon leaving the next day, I saw one end of the rear valance slightly hanging down. I called the Enterprise shop but no answer. When I returned the car, we immediately explained about the valance. The manager insisted we caused it because it would have been noticed during inspection. He refused to understand NOBODY could see it because it was temporarily connected and concealed sometime prior. In fact, they have our inspection on video and at no time did anyone look under the valance. Enterprise insisted it must have been a hit and run after I took possession. Enterprise, you lost a very loyal customer. I've spent countless hours over two decades at your counters across the United States. Only to be treated like a criminal by a rude, inexperienced, punk of a manager! Well, I will not spend one more minute at an Enterprise counter, but I will use every minute possible while I pass those counters telling others in line to rent from someone else. read more
