Terrible experience with this rental company and, in particular, the conduct of manager Madeline Orellano. What should have been a routine vehicle pickup turned into an unnecessarily frustrating and unacceptable experience due to poor communication, lack of professionalism, and questionable decision-making. I arrived at approximately 1:38 PM for a scheduled 1:30 PM pickup. The transaction initially appeared to be proceeding normally; however, the process became unreasonably delayed. Nearly an hour passed, and I still had not received a vehicle. During that entire time, Ms. Orellano never proactively provided an update regarding the status of my rental. I was forced to repeatedly ask for information because I was on a strict timeline and needed to pick up family members arriving at the airport. To make matters worse, I also had to determine whether a car seat could be added to the rental at the enterprise in MIA, as this location does not provide them. This was critical given that I was responsible for transporting a young child. When I finally asked why the process was taking so long, Ms. Orellano stated that employees were moving vehicles around the lot in order to retrieve my rental. Having seen the size and layout of that facility's parking area, I found this explanation difficult to believe and inconsistent with the excessive delay I experienced. The situation deteriorated further when it came time to complete payment. I was standing on the curb while Ms. Orellano was at street level. As she presented the iPad for payment, I took hold of it in order to complete the transaction. She apparently interpreted this as me "snatching" the device from her, which is categorically untrue. At no point was I aggressive, hostile, or disrespectful during that interaction. Rather than calmly clarifying the misunderstanding, Ms. Orellano became confrontational and demanded an apology. When I declined to apologize for something that had not occurred, she abruptly stated, "OK, there's no transaction. You can be on your way," and refused to complete the rental. What is most concerning is that her decision appeared to be driven by emotion rather than sound judgment. After keeping me waiting for nearly an hour with little communication, she chose to cancel the rental entirely over a perceived slight instead of resolving a simple misunderstanding. As a result, I was left scrambling to make alternate transportation arrangements for my family, including my three-year-old niece. A manager's responsibility is to de-escalate situations, communicate effectively, and focus on solutions. Unfortunately, Ms. Orellano did the exact opposite. Her conduct demonstrated poor customer service, poor conflict-resolution skills, and a troubling inability to separate personal feelings from professional responsibilities. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others before renting from this location. My interaction with Madeline Orellano left me with little confidence in the company's commitment to professionalism, customer care, or responsible management. I sincerely hope ownership reviews how customer complaints and conflicts are handled, as this experience fell far below any reasonable standard of customer service. If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. I wholeheartedly recommend AVIS who is right next door. I picked up a rental from them the next day. It was simple, quick and easy. We started with a destroyed tire 40 minutes after we started driving. Had to go to "Tire Kingdom" (Have some sort of partnershi) and waited for an hour and enterprise didn't want to approve the new tire because they said it could still be used. Now returning the vehicle at 8:30 in a Monday morning (opened at 7:30) the counter is completely empty no customer service and no regards for one's time. I planned this to go to work and arrive on time and it looks like it has not opened an hour later. Horrible service. read more

My 21 year old daughter was "upsold" damage insurance by Enterprise when they knew she didn't know what she was agreeing. Her car was being repaired due an accident that was not her fault and the insurance company told her to work with Enterprise to get a rental. When we presented the invoice to the insurance company for reimbursement they said that they don't cover damage waiver charges and the rental company should not have sold it. When we went back to Enterprise they said she signed for it so they would not refund. Watch out for those "junk fees". Not cool. read more

Not the best experience but honestly I didn't expect much. I asked for an SUV like mine but they only had minivans. I waited maybe 30 mins for an SUV but the car reeked of smoke and well it was better than a minivan but after 2 days of the smell I went to the airport 2 to get another car. The location I went to - Dadeland - didn't have anything and never got back to me about a different car. Unfortunately, they have a lack of inventory so I ended up with a Camry but at least it didn't smell like smoke. In the end the insurance paid for the rental but I'm not sure I'd recommend this company. read more

Each and every single time I make a reservation (weeks in advance) they don't have the car I requested. Good luck getting them to answer the phone as well. You can call first thing, 9am, noon, it doesn't matter, they never answer. I have started renting at the airport location. It is a little further and less convenient but they always have my car. read more

I rent from here quite a bit (twice a month or so) because I travel a lot for work, and I have never once had an issue that the customer service rep, Darling, didn't easily resolve. She's the only person I ever see in there and she operates the places seamlessly by herself. She's always in a great mood and goes above and beyond when it comes to service. The cars are always clean and in pristine condition. As long as Darling's there, I'll keep coming back. read more

Worst customer service ever. Attendant (Andrea) was rude and not very friendly. I complained after waiting 45 min for my car that was not even ready yet. I asked what was the point on getting a reservation with a pick up time, if cars are not ready?? Was given short and ridiculous answers and never apologized for the delay. Said cars needed to be cleaned and disinfected or did I want a dirty car? When I try to explained why was I frustrated with the process, the attendant said, I'm too busy for this. read more

Really poor customer service and communication. They are very overworked staff and it shows. The man who essential made me just sign (with little consultation for price or vehicle damage prior to me leaving) made me feel like I was in a hostage situation with no say. I felt not at all like a customer and just an annoyance. I try to have compassion for people that work like this, but he couldn't even be cordial to me. Terrible experience. read more

Don't bother making a reservation here because they won't have your car ready for over an hour despite their emptiness in the office. They also don't even look at which category you picked in terms of pricing and will try and put you iba more expensive car just for you to have to deal with it later. Be careful read more

Words can not be enough to say how much I am disappointed and dissatisfied with this location. I left a tool in my rental car. Called 3 times and the manager himself had an attitude said he would call me back and never did, this was 2 times weeks ago. They stayed with my tool. I called to today about the same issue they asked me to call back at 5pm. They are unbelievable stay as far away as you can ride and liar's. read more

I had a great experience at this location. I was upgraded to a bigger car when I first arrived but I noticed it had been a smoking car. I took it back and they gave me another car (a better upgrade) no questions asked. Everything went smoothly and the customer service was great. I highly recommend them! read more

I dealt with Jessica for a rental while my car was in the shop. Although she is a newby working there only 3 months, she is a potential star for Enterprise. She was so pleasant and accommodating and anxious to make everything go as smoothly as possible. If the other employees are like Jessica at Dadeland I say Enterprise all the way! read more

Robert Moreira and Steve Fleurant saved the day for my Miami vacation. I made a reservation via Expedia and let's just say, Expedia messed up. I had to travel 35mins out of the way to this location to pick up my car. When were arrived at the wrong train stop, I called S Dixie Hwy and they sent ma car over to pick us up and bring us to the shop. They were both so friendly and made myself and friend laugh after all the nonsense we went through. They really made my day and solved the problem I had. Next visit to Miami, I'll make 30min just to have the great experience with them again. read more

Had to rent a car for two months at a time. This specific location was super easy and convenient for me. I was able to take the train there and it drops off right across the street. There was never a line and the place was clean. I'm used to airport car rental places and I'd choose this over airport locations any day. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Left my condo clicker in car - when I called 20 minutes later to ask them to store the transponder, they left me on hold for 23 minutes then disconnected me. After several days of calls like this they finally said clicker was never in car and cited that they are not responsible. The clicker was on the front dashboard for access into my building. They lied, kept me on long holds, hung up on me and never produced the clicker. Horrible experience. read more

After my transmission blew in my car, and I had a terrible and scary experience. I ended up at Enterprise Dadeland Station. In the midst of tears, I encountered Connor O'Sullivan. I ended up renting a tiny sports car because that is all they had at the time. Me, in a sports car. I am a minivan mom! But I needed a car prior to school dismissal. He patiently explained the ins and outs about this cute but ultra modern car. I felt like I was a hundred years old. In the two days I had the car, I probably called him ten times with questions. He patiently answered every thing with a smile in his voice. He was professional and courteous. When I returned my car he was extremely busy, yet I noticed he took his time with every customer and he was just as friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The smile never left his face. He was patient and very sweet to everyone. I am very grateful to him for making what was a terrible and nerve wracking experience better and less painful by simply being a gentleman and a professional.
