I've used this location many times for rental as I have a Ford and the Ford dealership is a mile away. They are always prompt on pickup and get me into a vehicle quickly. My most recent visit had a hiccup regarding vehicle size but Bob fixed everything and was awesome the entire time. I've dealt with Rob also in the past and these two guys are the best. Enterprise has some silly rules and regulations and the branch manager is a bit of a stickler (which is why i gave 4 stars rather then 5) but the customer service from Bob and Rob is second to none! read more

Outstanding service all around, especially DavidJon Kirpas. I had reserved a car online from the Stratford location but wasn't informed until shortly before pickup time that THEY HAD NO CARS AVAILABLE! I asked them to transfer my reservation to the Milford site which they did. When I arrived in Milford, Mr. Kirpas and his staff expedited my reservation and had everything ready in less than 20 minutes. When I returned the car the following day, the return was even faster and they even gave me a ride to the repair shop several miles away to retrieve my regular car. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. they told us the car will be ready at a specified location at 2 pm. then they made us drive back and forth in two different locations to get the car and after an hour and a half driving with Uber one place to another they drove us to a much fu location to finally pick up the car. my child was supposed to be picked up from school and my husband missed a very important business meeting. Very very inconvenient. I have been traveling internationally for over 30 years and renting cars in 3rd world countries I have never seen something this unprofessional. stay away from this place!!! read more

NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE Our car dealership rented a car for us while they worked on our car (for just a few hours). Later that day, after returning the car, we received a message from Dan at Enterprise that the hold on our Discover card was canceled and should no longer show up. Several days later, it was still showing up as "pending" on our Discover account. We called Enterprise and were advised to contact Discover to point out that there must be a problem on their end, and that it should absolutely not be showing up as pending. We were then told by Discover that there was no record of Enterprising canceling, that they were supposed to have done that through Merchant Services, and that it could take up to ten days for the hold to be released. While we had Discover on the phone, we contacted Enterprise again to let them know what we were being told by Discover, and to see if they had canceled through Merchant Services, so we could advise Discover. This time, a very unprofessional and highly-stressed manager, George, told us that he didn't care what Discover was telling us, and then he hung up on us. We have no idea why this simple question set that man off. We will now have to track this through Discover. Renting a car through this company is just not worth the headache. read more

Go elsewhere! The company owed me a refund as they were compensated twice (by me initially, then by my auto manufacturer). It took three phone calls and two emails over the course of a month to get the money due. There was no excuse or explanation for the delay. Total waste of my time. Never again! read more

I'm sending this review in reference to buying a car at your business in Milford, CT on Bridgeport Avenue. After purchasing a car there the salesman was clearly not "into" what he was doing. When asking him questions it was like he wasn't even there. I don't know if he cared whether he was selling a vehicle or not. Seeing as part of his pay would be a percentage of the sale and seeing that was part of his job he certainly didn't put much effort into the purchase. He didn't know anything about the car, just seemed lost and could care less. Maybe that's because sales aren't done often at Enterprise and there's no proper training. There also were 4 other "renters" involved in the sale and none of them stood out as being salesmen either. What a dull non-enthusiastic experience I have ever been involved in. The only guy that stood out was the sales manager, Eric, he could have run circles around these renters. Sales is clearly not your forte! read more

I have a service contract with my dealership and have used Enterprise for the past three years. My car is a lemon and my dealership is useless - the only bright light when my car falls apart on a monthly basis is this place! I get the type of car I need and on little to no notice. Being a busy mom of a traveling athlete, I have always received quick and polite service - not to mention the fact that these guys never know when I am returning my rental as the dealership says 2 days and almost three weeks later I am returning the rental. read more

I used to use this Enterprise office, but no more. When we picked up a car at the airport, it was pretty scratched up and the interior was really stained. We were tired so decided it didn't matter how it looked and we took it to Milford. I returned the car after a few days and while in the office, saw an employee on her knees outside looking at the car. She then advised that she was new and had to inspect the cars very carefully. She said there was a slight impression on the bottom rocker panel. I could not see it, there was no damage to the paint. At one angle if we looked closely, we could see the lights reflection waiver in another direction. It was the size of a quarter and again, could not be easily seen. Since we had barely used the car, we knew whatever that was, we didn't cause it. It looked like it could have come from the factory that way, it was so slight. After a long discussion with Evan, he advised that he was still going to report it as a damage claim. I have free coverage through my Visa, but was upset that he would even pursue such a thing. When I received the claim, I found out they had added damage to the hood of the car! It was unbelievable. I had taken tons of photos of the car, thank goodness. After having been a manager for years and having been an auto damage appraiser as well, I was really surprised that Evan would pursue such a claim and then to add damage we didn't discuss was even worse. He did not hear what I was saying, he did not seem to have the confidence or experience to use good judgment in handling the situation. Due to this experience, we rented our next 10 cars from another office as we rent cars often. The Enterprise recovery team reviewed my photos and my claim thoroughly and in the end, rightfully and fairly agreed to dismiss the claim. It is for this reason that I continue to use another Enterprise office for my rental car needs. read more
