I recently had to rent a vehicle while my car was in the autobody shop after an accident, and my experience with the staff at Enterprise in Milford has been flawless. Each time I've had to rent a vehicle during this extended wait for my car to return from the autobody shop they have been incredibly courteous. They are always willing to come to my house to pick up and drop off the vehicle, and they're friendly and easy to work with. Doesn't matter who I talk to there - they are all great. They have made a really stressful experience of having an accident and dealing with insurance companies and repairs much easier for me and my family. This was my drop-off location. Office was closed but there is a drop off box for car keys. I did make a point to take pics of the car before I left, just in case there were any questions about it's condition, seeing as the office was closed and no employee was physically present to check the vehicle in. I had to make a sudden reservation in CT, due to personal car troubles during my trip. The mobile app was very easy to use to reserve a vehicle. I thought prices were reasonable for a couple of days and not returning to the same collection point. Big thumbs up Enterprise! read more

Unfortunately, someone plowed into me leaving my son's school and I was forced to get a rental for the first time and this location made it a pleasant experience, despite me getting there and they were completely sold out of vehicles. Andrew was extremely apologetic, of course there wasn't anything he did on his part but he assured me that he could have one of the staff drive me home, and pick me up in the morning first thing to be able to get me into a souped up vehicle for the inconvenience. As he promised, Jeremy took me home and was very kind and drove my son and I safely to our residence and this morning, Eric picked me up in our rental to finish paperwork and get a few things signed and we were on our way. They did everything in their power to provide me with an exceptional experience after having such a horrible accident and having to drop my car to a shop for work. Thank you, guys. I'm appreciative. Worker lied to me and tried to upsell me. Told me my insurance wouldn't cover any possible damage to a rental and I would need the $25 a day damage coverage. Which was a lie that cost me hundreds. Also entered my return date wrong which made another hassle. Was also lied to about tolls and how my EZ Pass would work with an out of state rental. Customer service was not helpful after trying to fix these issues. read more

People did not tell me about an additional $50 fee because I'm under 26, had a salesman call me 4x because I told a guy I'm renting it because I want to buy one. My $300 Deposit re-inbursment was 2 days late, they called saying we're sorry the deposit reimbursement wasn't given back until today... Friendly, Professional Team! From the phone service, (friendly, responsive) to the pick up guy, to the rental - this place treated me like royalty. I rented a compact car at a low price on Expedia. They only had minivans and up, but honored my lower price. They picked me up at my home, dropped me off, loaded and unloaded my luggage, and EVERY worker there was courteous and helpful. We had a reservation for 9 am, when we arrived car was not ready, they needed to clean and prep it, even though we had reserved it days ago. The vehicle also only had half a tank of gas, so not only did we get the car 30 minutes late, we then needed to go get gas. We also asked if the car could be picked up at our home when we were done, less than 1.5 miles away, and they said they could not. Very disappointed. read more

First off the staff working at this location are friendly and professional. I needed a cargo van for a Saturday and after making my online reservation a get a call from one of the associates telling me that the van was not available because another renter was holding it fora extra day. So they offered a pickup truck for my day rental. Fine. I stopped in and the vehicle rental paperwork went fine, i drove off with the truck and took care of my tasks. Later that evening once everything was done I replaced the gas, returned the truck and dropped the keys in the dropbox. Task completed. Monday morning the associate calls me to close out my rental and going through the charges they charged my for a two day rental. I asked why I was being charged for a two day rental when I reserved the vehicle for one day. The associate explains that since they are not open on Sundays that I was being charged for that extra day. Huh? So since your not open I get hit for a extra 100 bucks. I questioned the charges and the person removed the extra day rental without a battle. (they are mailing me the bill so I will confirm the charges then) All and all the rental was fine but beware when renting a vehicle for a single day on Saturday's. The people at the Milford location are nice but I still like Hertz much better than Enterprize. read more

Do not use this rental site. The reviews here are fake. They are rude and lazy. Nick and JD totally did not do their job and just charged my CC because they were to lazy to their job. The repair shop told me that they have not been doing their job and been getting a lot of complaints. To bad cuz I used them before and had no problems. I needed to get my car fixed and the Franklin location was closed so I called Milford, he met me at my repair shop in Franklin and was there before me, they also gave me an SUV that I requested, when I was done (2 days later) I called and they had me leave the car at the garage, no issues at all !!! 1 star because you can't give a zero star rating. Gave my girlfriend a 7 year old Altima with no rear seat belts and bald tires (front wheel drive) the day before a snow storm. They had to send a tech to her to work to fix issues with the tires and brake engine problems. Never offered a replacement vehicle or offered an all wheel drive option. Reserved a minivan for a relay race I was in approx 7 months in advance. Called to check on reservation a few rimes leading up to the race and the staff was always extremely nice and helpful. At the time of rental the minivan was available and once again the staff was extremely helpful and nice. Will definitely rent from Enterprise/this location again. read more

One of my family vehicles was totaled in an accident. Enterprise Milford had a relationship with the local AutoBody shop I was dealing with and actually JD was present during one of my visits. A very nice, late model car was reserved for me right away. JD took care of everything and followed up with me to ensure all was right. I used to frequently rent from this location in the past and the service was hit or miss but my understanding and experience is that JD has taken over management and this place running as it should. I will rent from this location in the future if needed. read more

I have been waiting for a refund to my bank account on there mistake for 11 days.. They have told me 3 times in the 11 days that it was processed and will be in my bank account, , NOT!, i was told yesterday 10-20-15 that as we spoke the manager, named Marie, was processing it and was apoliogizing for the errors that have happened, and hoped i would still refer to enterprise as a good place of business. NOT... It is still not in my bank account.. guess i will have to make a personal visit, and hope for a check in hand. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Had to rent a car twice in the last few weeks. Not an experience that anyone really "enjoys". This is how customer service can take a tedious and annoying task and make it bearable ;-) The manager was extremely helpful and pleasant and she went above and beyond to assure I had a great rate and was well taken care of. They should change their slogan to "We'll pick you up....in whatever car is most convenient for us". I reserved a small car on Monday. Confirmed on Wednesday morning. They showed up in a Ford Escape. I asked where the car was that I reserved and they said it was all they had. I always thought the reservation HELD the car for you. They know how to Take the reservation, they just don't know how to HOLD the reservation. And that is the most important part. (It was just like that episode of Seinfeld). I had to waste an hour on MY time returning the car to pick up the right one. read more

The people that work in the Milford office are amazing. I've had to use them a couple times in the last year for insurance rentals. They come to the body shop to pick me up. They have had good cars, and offer me a choice when available. When my insurance company tried to nickel and dime me, they worked with me to make the price come under the flippin' insurance co rates. They save me time, money and aggravation every time I use them. Plus every employee I've worked with has been cooperative, friendly and informed(Joe, Maria, Peter, and others whose names I can't remember). They are busy sometimes so you have to be patient, but that is just because they spend time with each customer, as you will want them to do when it is your turn. read more

I rented from this location because my car was being worked on nearby. I made a mistake and chose a Sunday return when they were closed. When I dropped it off, I realized this and was dissapointed that I was not notified of the location being closed despite them knowing I was dropping off that day in Milford. I spoke to the manager and she was very helpful and understanding. She provided excellent customer service and I would absolutely rent with any enterprise location again but especially the Milford location. read more
