On the day of my rental 1 hour before my pick up time, I was called by the location that they didn't have cards for me because they were booked up. They weren't booked up on the day I made the reservation, nor was I contacted 24 hours earlier. If I had been, I could have found another alternative. I was given the "premise" that they were trying to find me a car, but I doubt it. This rental was important and because of it, we missed our flight, have hundreds of dollars of fees as well as a $250 fee to get transportation we needed. All because of the LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE at this location. This is the 2nd time I've rented or tried to rent from this location and the first time was a huge issue as well. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! We later heard from a friend they have a mileage cap of 100 or 150 miles (thought that was a thing of the past in the 21st century). Anyways so before we picked up our car I called to confirm that. To my surprise I couldn't get a straight answer. First the customer service woman demanded to know where I was going and why I needed to ask such a question. My reply, naturally, is why does it matter where I'm going. I was going to be making several trips to the airport and work in outside sales so unlimited mileage on a vehicle is important. But she insisted on asking where I was going and kept saying it depends on the mileage and "how most normal people don't drive that much". Finally after several attempts to get a straight answer she said well we do have a cap but (she quotes again) "it really depends on how much your driving". Not sure how to even comprehend the answers she was giving me. Of course it depends on how much I'm driving, THAT'S THE REASON I'M CALLING AND ASKING IF THERE IS A MILEAGE LIMIT!! So after wasting 5 minutes on the phone with her I respectfully told her that their rental service would not meet our needs. In the middle of my sentence of telling her I needed to cancel my reservations she simply hung up the phone on me. Growing up in Burlington and seeing Perfection Auto Body and Sales grow they used to be a very humble and nice private business but it seems their success has gone to their head and they no longer value their customers. My rental trick was to reserve the cheapest car weeks out before because odds are and past history the car won't be available because car rental companies are w#ores and sell out the cars to the first person regardless of your reservation and they have to give you some car and usually a better car. I reserved for an economical Nissan Sentra or equivalent weeks before and low and behold when the day came no economy car was available so I would have to take a Buick SUV out a new 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid for the economy car price. Yep the Camry hybrid would work at max of 485 mile's range with my last fill up. Construction traffic made me 20 minutes late dropping the car off and into an extra day change and they were so cool to back time the drop off time and not charge me the extra day change, fu#king awesome when everyone bleeds you dry for every penny. Overall my experience was outstanding and the customer service was top notch, this will be my preferred car rental company in the future because the customer satisfaction is top priority.
