We later heard from a friend they have a mileage cap of 100 or 150 miles (thought that was a thing of the past in the 21st century). Anyways so before we picked up our car I called to confirm that. To my surprise I couldn't get a straight answer. First the customer service woman demanded to know where I was going and why I needed to ask such a question. My reply, naturally, is why does it matter where I'm going. I was going to be making several trips to the airport and work in outside sales so unlimited mileage on a vehicle is important. But she insisted on asking where I was going and kept saying it depends on the mileage and "how most normal people don't drive that much". Finally after several attempts to get a straight answer she said well we do have a cap but (she quotes again) "it really depends on how much your driving". Not sure how to even comprehend the answers she was giving me. Of course it depends on how much I'm driving, THAT'S THE REASON I'M CALLING AND ASKING IF THERE IS A MILEAGE LIMIT!! So after wasting 5 minutes on the phone with her I respectfully told her that their rental service would not meet our needs. In the middle of my sentence of telling her I needed to cancel my reservations she simply hung up the phone on me. Growing up in Burlington and seeing Perfection Auto Body and Sales grow they used to be a very humble and nice private business but it seems their success has gone to their head and they no longer value their customers. So again, if you like being talked down to and treated like a lesser class individual by a business who thinks they are in a world that doesn't warrant treating their customers with a smidgen of respect - the this is the place for you!!

I asked Mark to install 3 plugs on the back side of the engine, the hard ones to replace. He advised that would require and hour of service $138. I agreed and signed the agreement. I ended up with a bill including $126.00 diagnostic test. I was told, a new or rebuilt transmission would be appropriate. Do you think they checked the transmission fluid? No but they charged me $126.00 to read the code. I understand car Dealer Service Centers earn $1,000,0000 per year. I think Mark is right up there, ripping off people like me. If you are an honest operator, is there any hope for people driving older cars ?? Try checking the Transmission fluid level, it is not impossible even though it is a sealed system, it has a cap clearly visible and accessible. Gary K.

The prices are pretty standard. It's all based on the overall market, which we all know can change. When I asked about pricing after having a decent load to bring in, they even told me "if you can hold off a month, you'll most likely get a better price." They didn't give me assurances giving that it is the market but they were right. I held off for a month and it paid off for me. I have to have a bad experience with the service they provide and again I go there maybe four times a year. All around a wonderful place to go and take in the scrap metal.
