The actual rental car was physically a disaster - these was quite a lot of cosmetic damage, . . . whatever the dents and scrapes were of no real concern to me, also there was A LOT of beach sand inside the car, but again no big deal. The bald tires, the check engine light on as well as the tire pressure monitor light on . . . were a big deal and quite concerning. I was renting for 6 hours and traveled a total of maybe 25 miles throughout the entire day just sightseeing, however the entire time I was driving, I was keenly aware of the bald tires situation and was uneasy, thinking about other drivers and having to stop short etc. so with that coming into play, my overall rating was much lower than I expected. If I was to rent again from Aldo's, I'd insist on a vehicle that would pass RI State Inspection, because I KNOW for sure those tires that are currently on that Camry, would NOT.

When I saw the smart car option I was sold. It's a 2 seater with storage in the back and best of all, it's a convertible!! What better option on a stunning beautiful warm September day!! They were running a few specials such as rent for 2 hours, get 3 etc. The car was adorable though bare bones interior. It was comfy enough though a little hard on some of the bumpy almost dirt roads of block island. We had a quick lesson in operating the convertible then we were off! Seriously one of the best and easiest ways to navigate those spectacular sites on Block Island from Southeast Lighthouse, Mansion Beach , Mohegan Bluffs and north light with a few pull offs along the way. I'd totally do a smart car rental again!

I asked if he was with enterprise and replied yea. He didn't even pull into my driveway or to my house. Completely unprofessional, then I got into the car that had all the windows down and the passenger seat reclined all the way back. I could smell that the employee just smoked weed, which I'm assuming is why all the windows were down. The employee drove recklessly back to enterprise. Where they tried to give me the same car as a rental. When there are clearly marked signs that say NO SMOKING IN VEHICLES. The other employee proceeded to the vehicle and confirmed the smell. I had to wait an additional hour for a rental vehicle. To each their own but you absolutely should not be sending impaired employees to pickup customers. I'm honestly shocked he didn't get us in an accident, he was messing with his phone and touch screen the entire time and was driving recklessly. I honestly don't know how he even has a license. I would like a manager to contact me about this.
